what thermometer is that? i can do steaks on the stove very nicely, but still a novice at grilling, so a thermometer will help until i can get those timings/texture feels right

How do you get your fries to not end up soggy? I’ve done these steps with my own homemade fries and within minutes of being taking out of the fryer, they’re soggy 😕

You didn't rest te steak at all. Plus next time you roll compound Butter , hold the sides of the plastic and use force to roll it over the cutting board , it gets tightely rolled cause you have the sides hold on.

When I was working broiling huge steaks..many a moon ago..we never used thermostats. Just by feel..and look..u know it is a art..all I c now r amateurs trying to sell thermostats and other trinkets..advise 2 u..learn how ..without gadgets..

Now this is how a steak is properly cooked! I'm sick of these other so called steak lovers frying their steak in butter and it looks like it was microwaved. I want a nice charred bark on the edges and the fat melt in my mouth like bacon. Io course adding some butter at the end just tops it off. But to simply cook it in a pan full of butter is not doing any honor to the high quality meat.
Why do you think the most successful chefs in the world do it that way then? :)

Butter is amazing, no doubt, makes anything better! I have never and will never add butter to steak!!! Like fukn really…why does everyone think you need to add butter to a good steak!!! Not a health nut by any stretch, but wtf!!!

What's a reverse sear? Looked "regular" to me 🤔
Reverse sear is when you cook it with indirect heat or on a low heat in an oven until close to temp then you drop it on the rippin hot heat to make the crust. It’s a bulletproof way to cook those thicker steaks
