- In this video I will show you how to defeat the Gamma Dragon boss on The Island in Ark Survival Ascended. The dinos that I used in the Gamma Dragon boss fight are listed below.
19 Therizinosaurs:
25k HP
350-400 Damage
80-100 Armor Saddles
5 Sweet Vegetable Cakes each
1 Yutyrannus:
25k HP
2k Stam
75 Armor Saddle
Map: The Island

Hey! The therizino are actually tankier if they have 21k hp instead of 25k
Lemme prove it
The cakes heal 10% of the herbivores health capped at 2100 and the dragon does 15% of their hp in damage
So if you bring an army with 21k health the dragon will do 3150 damage with a fire breath and theriz will heal 2.1k
If you take in an army of theriz with 25k hp however, the dragon will do 3750 damage but theriz will still only heal 2.1k
So an army with 999million healt each will die sooner than an army with 21k health each
And the ones with 21k hp will deal far FAR more damage too!

Could go a little less for gamma but I wouldn't for beta and higher stats will just be safer if you don't want anything to die because the dragon was hitting the same few over and over again. Wouldn't really go that much higher on the health tho because of the dragons fire breath.

I used 80-100 armor saddles so they were mastercraft and ascendant
What happen to the Rex’s ?
Testing out theris, also I think they are supposed to be better for dragon
Rexes are absolute trash for the dragon boss. Only theris
Theris are better than rexes in every stat excluding raw hp and damage, they are faster and dont get stuck on eachother so all 19 theris can hit boss easily, they also attack faster
Carnivores take more damage from the dragons fire I have heard
@@zeraxen They have less DPS and health, the two stats that matter for bosses?
is this default settings?
