Dude, I've been breeding them for a while thinking It would take a lot more bulkier setup to tackle the boss. I'm probably way overkill alredy since rexes are at 30k hp and 600 melee after 40 lvl ups >.

I killed alpha spider with these same stats for rexes without losing a single one, im going to do this soon but i having trouble finding enough spino trophy

I have breed my rexes so much and got some many mutation that the best are born with 15k hp

Any tips for whistling them to attack or getting the rexes to surround the boss? I find both of those tricky.

Should be period "." to whistle attack this target while pointing at the boss. Not sure about surrounding the boss as I've never really focused on it you could try "," which I believe is the go here whistle while pointing at the ground behind the boss so some go there. However I would be careful in this arena cuz of the pit you could fall into.

Daeodons normally work pretty good for healing creatures during boss fights
