The best animal to fight the dragon is mammoths. They have WAY more health than theris and deal similar damage. Plus they can also debuff the dragon. So use mammoths.
Gamma and Beta overseer can be done solo with a tek suit and an ascendant shotgun. Alpha can be done with 2-3 tribemates with shotguns and tek suits also.
Something I have found actual success with was using Direwolves for bosses. They do not have a saddle unfortunately, however they can stack several buffs that no other tames (that I know of) can. Starting with Yutyrannus roar does +25% damage +20% damage reduction. The pack boost which adds a maximum of +20% damage bonus, the pack leader receives this damage bonus and the howl ability which applies a buff for 90 seconds which provides another +50% damage bonus, and an addition +25% damage reduction. Then mate boost which provides another +33% to damage and damage reduction. Then finally, imprint bonus which is another +30% to both damage and damage reduction. The total numbers come to +158% damage boost and +108% damage reduction. The direwolf also has a much faster attack speed than the rex with a base damage of 33 and melee% easily going above 300%. You can get some seriously underrated dps. To be fair though. They take a ton of prep work to get to this point but I did manage to beat Alpha Brood with mine. It did take 4 players though to manage the buffs.
They can cerantly work against the monkey and the spider, but yeah, it takes a lot of micro and preapretion. The howl also has a 60 sec coordonatele, and during that time they are really vulnerable. In terms of DPS they are great, and they can attack all at once since they are small. BTW, if you play on Fjordur you can also get a Fenrir for some extra passive buffs.
@@SpartacusSurvives They definitely are not as practical as high level rexes with top tier saddles but it is a ton of fun so I almost always just do wolves. I did not know about the Fenrir buffs so that will definitely be worth looking into. Thanks for the info.
Hi, Robert! You can also use deionychus to get the pack buff, but I think it’s only a pack of 7. They can latch on and stack up bleed up to 5x! Dire wolves are a really good option, easy to find, tame, and breed. They are also small and agile.

I’ve been raising an army of yutys and tek rex for the dragon fight. Might add a daedon for some health buff! They have pretty good stats cause they were all hatched and imprinted so Im hoping for the best! Great video dude!
So I’m doing the island bosses and I wanna use theris for all of them, I’ll use theris for the last 2 but are they viable for alpha monkey and brood? I’m okay with losing some
To the megapithecus they are just as good as rexes, and to the broodmommy it depends on the difficulty. Gamma and beta are possible, but in alpha it's game over if the theris have less than 30K health
Since the theri is good for overseer and dragon, wouldnt it be good for brood mother and megapithecus by default? Like why have rexes, megas, and theris when you can just have 1? Would save so much time with finding, breeding, obtaining saddles, etc

Obviously bringing in a Daedon and Yuty for support.
Ugh. I tried the megatherium army once. Spent a month getting them ready. Ascendant saddles and all. Got Alpha down to 2%. The thing is, not all of the megas get the buff. It's pretty random. Didn't go too well for me
Try to move them around, and surround the broodmother. They tend to bunch up together and some of them don't land a hit, but the spider hits all of them.
Well it depends on the difficulty and the dinos used. for alpha I think 20k health and ~600% dmg for theris and megatheriums and 30k and ~600% dmg for rexes.
My theris are all level 300+ they all have veggie cakes and 28k+ health and they deal 1k damage per hit each theri is this enough for the dragon i also have ascendant saddles on them
You charcater will ascened, which means you have to download it if you want to return to your island map, or you can move with it to another map. For maps like Scorched Earth, your dinos and gear won't be uploaded into the terminal. On that map, they will return to the terminal, like after a regular guardian fight on the island.
Best to bring both, but if I had to choose, I'd go for the cakes, since in both the dragon and the overseer fights, your army moves a lot, making it hard for the pig to keep everyone in the radius.
It's okay if you're terrible at the game and need to play single player. Moving the sliders is a fine way to make up for being a bad or lazy gamer. Do you still get a sense of accomplishment when you move the sliders?
@parazightsporch2523 do you feel better? like dang dude I wasn't meaning crank everything to the max and let the game play itself. I haven't tried to teleport only the tames to the arena, so I'm not sure. If you play o single player, the game might not rander the arena, resulting in losing your first 20 tames.

I think with ascended saddles around 20-22k health and 600-700% melee should be enough for alpha difficulty. Keep in mind that controlling your army in the battle is just as important as preparing the army for the battle. Try to surround the dragon, and get it stuck if you can, since it will try to target the yuty. You don't need to get it stuck, but that would maximise your chances.
I really dont understand that Daeodon fetish. Used it maybe once when I was complete newbie just blindly following guides. Wasn't impressed, never used it again, never missed it. Defeated all Islands boss, on alpha, countless times.
I want to grind alpha brood mother. (Because the caves are easy) what stats are the megatheriums you used? Also could theris be used on all alpha bosses?
I would stick to megatheriums for alpha difficulty. Around 23-24k health and 600-700 melee. But more importantly, it is to use the whistle commands to surround the broodmothera and kill the araneo to get the buff. Getting the buff on your megatheriums makes a huge difference.
i used daedon yuty and 18 megatherium with over 20k hp 700% dmg with around 100-150 armor and got destroyed by the alpha broodmother in less than 3 minutes what am i doing wrong
You have to use the whistle commands a bit. Megatheriums tend to bunch up and try to attack the brootmother from the front, all at once. This means a lot of them are not fighting and just taking damage. Try to whistle them to get behind the broodmother, and when a few of them have gone past the broodmother whistle them to attack once again. This way, you will surround the broodmother, maximising you damage output. The second thing you have to do is to make sure your megatheriums get some kills on the araneos using your whistles. You NEED to have that buff on as many megatheriums as you can. So don't be afraid to disengage the broodmother and send them to kill little spiders. Buffed megatheriums are roughly 10 times stronger than without it.
Theri stats are nothing close to a rex at all, best option for dragon is bait it into attacking you with any medium/small dino, normally yut and have rax army surround dragon from behind, they will get under it preventing it from taking off, making the fight easy, for all island bosses use rex. Its a shame but meta is meta for a good reason. a Tek rex tamed at 180 and then bread for hp and damage is the go to for every tribe. Theri are less of a pain to find, its the only reason anyone ever uses them.
Yooo man I wanted to ask are 340 tek rexes good enough and yes I am genuinely asking because im not totally new but still new to the game and I got my hands on them by taking them from a friend who give me some eggs and I don't want them to get killed are day good enough?
For the Dragon If your riding something that has more drag weight than your attackers the dragon will focus on the heavier drag weighted tame. Riding a yuty and using Theris or Megalosaurus to attack all you need to do is stand a certain distance from the dragon & the dragon will focus on trying to walk to the yuty you are riding and will ignore the tames at its feet. You can also solo the dragon with an top stat megaloceros with a top saddle
I've noticed this when I tried using ceratos for bosses, but I haven't been able to get bosses stuck with theries. But tbh I haven't really tried to get them stuck when I made this video.
why do none of these boss videos ever show a realistic boss fight? For the lowest tier boss, just starting out, all the videos have 18 300+ leveled rexes. How is that helpful?

I’m on an unofficial island pve. Lmk if anyone wants to join. Got a strong Rex army brewing and planning on doing my first broodmpther gamma tomorrow. It’s just me and my friend so far but we’re not in the same tribe as we wanted our own bases
Be gor i watch the video Why d people use one deodon why do people use one yuti you can defeat a boss with 3 deodons and 2 yutis and 15 batle dino and soups beer batle tar-tar are underrated in pve i am just saying
Yuty's courage roar does not stack, so bringing more than one is is a waste, could be used for another damage dealing dino. As for daedon, their healing also does not stack, so using them with out riders would be really tricky - would have to jump off yuty to turn healing on after 1st one runs out of food, and so on. Now, if you had multiple riders for each one they could still be used, but I think you would be better off with riders on attack dinos. Dinos with riders usually do more damage than ones without, as manually biting will attack faster than AI controlled biting; also their is the imprinted rider buff too.
This video is not good advice. You really only need Therizino. You can spend loads of time breeding many different kinds of dinos for various fights, OR just breed Theris and use them for everything. Second place goes to Rex easy, which also works just fine vs Broodmother. Why on earth would anyone hyper breed megatheriums and rexes when you can just do it with rexes? Or even better, with Theris. Alpha Dragon is clearly the hardest fight. Any breed that can take Alpha Dragon can defeat the other bosses. This video only serves to farm views, not to give ACTUAL helpful advice.

I would stick to megatheriums for alpha difficulty. Around 23-24k health and 600-700 melee. But more importantly, it is to use the whistle commands to surround the broodmothera and kill the araneo to get the buff. Getting the buff on your megatheriums makes a huge difference.
How many dinos should be in an army
I think you can have 20 max
i used daedon yuty and 18 megatherium with over 20k hp 700% dmg with around 100-150 armor and got destroyed by the alpha broodmother in less than 3 minutes what am i doing wrong
@@SpartacusSurvivesokay i will try that byt im pretty sure everyone had the buff
i beat it with only one megatherium dead
@@Janetacos haha good job bro.
So are you breeding dinos for this?
Is this evolved??
Yes, but everything applies to ascended as well.
@@SpartacusSurvives It can be finicky sometimes but theris & megalos should get it stuck majority of the time.
Nice guide though, well presented
@xstorm_8_shadowx Thanks man! Thanks for the additional info!
dinos so strong dont need to pig in there
عالی
carnos and yuty for the dragon it agros the yuty and ignores the carnos
why do none of these boss videos ever show a realistic boss fight? For the lowest tier boss, just starting out, all the videos have 18 300+ leveled rexes. How is that helpful?
What about giga army??
Cannot access any boss battle on The Island
Dragon is the easiest of the 3. Two mate boosted theri riders and 10 veggie cakes each can smash alpha.
I lost everything to cold😢
Use the fria curry consumable it'll help some. Worse comes to worse higher ranked fur armor, plus edible, can also wear an otter which helps with the cold.
Subbed for help
I’m on an unofficial island pve. Lmk if anyone wants to join. Got a strong Rex army brewing and planning on doing my first broodmpther gamma tomorrow. It’s just me and my friend so far but we’re not in the same tribe as we wanted our own bases
This seems impossible solo :(
You can do it! I believe in you:))
hi
hi
Be gor i watch the video
Why d people use one deodon why do people use one yuti you can defeat a boss with 3 deodons and 2 yutis and 15 batle dino and soups beer batle tar-tar are underrated in pve i am just saying

Ding dong ?
Pig is a waste
Do they need to all be over level 200 ?
do you know what are average stats for just tamed rex, megatherium and theri.
Sadly, no. I also highly advise you to use bred and imprinted dinos, not tamed.
OK.Thank.
