"I'm a divorced woman, please help me" 🤣🤣🤣🤣IDK why that line absolutely kills me every time!
LMFAO This whole movie is fuckin hilarious!!!
With classic delivery from Mink Stole. So hilarious.
I wonder why she's " a divorced woman ".
It's a hilarious line ... And, VERY much of its era. Divorce rates started to shoot up in the 70s and 80s. There was a lot of paranoia about it from conservatives. So, that line .... It's totally making fun of those paranoid people's hysteria about the plight of divorced women.
I think she told this like argument that she doesn't have a husband to protect her 😊
The way she looks at the phone and hysterically laughs between the two phonecalls takes me away! 😂🤣
I love it too, she's like a kid who knows they're getting away with something naughty LOL
Kathleen is channeling her childhood prank calling antics.
Best performance of Kathleen Turner. She deserved an Oscar nomination.
She truly deserved it
It was far too controversial.
I agree.
Movie is so so, but she's great in it.
@@KevinThePilgrim She is the movie so the movie is as incredible as she was in it
At least a Golden Globe.
This NEVER gets boring. Absolutely fantastic comedy and acting.
LMAO she did this because Dottie took her parking spot at the mall! 🤣🤣🤣
You say it like that's a bad thing. :)
Her motives for all the kills was trivial as hell.
Yvoone Criddle would do worse.
Pussywillows lol
@@retiredsnowbunnyhunterx5106 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That husky voice is so beautiful.
Her voice alone can get Me in all kinds of moods!
I love how as soon as the cops leave she calls poor Dottie Hinkle.
Romer Jusu lolll right after the cops said she was normal and nice lol smh
Now WHO on earth would harass poor Dottie Hinkle?
Dotty walked into the courtroom thinking she was the shit.
Imagine Dottie in jail....
Beverly 🤬 up her mind 🤣
@@romerjusu3804 I sure can. And...Dottie would DEFINITELY cuss everybody out while locked up...lol.
plot twist, Beverly continued with the prank calls after Dottie got out of jail haha
Ikr? 😂😂😂
Dotty Hinkle in court- the best scene.🤣
Benjamin Blümchen she pulled Dottie all the way out her hook up!😂😂😂
“Mrs Hinkle, are you insane?”
The face she makes when she asks that question kills me every time
“I’ve never even said the p-word let alone written it down!”
“No woman would.”
😂 This scene is so perfect
I’m from the north of Scotland and my mum prides herself on never having said Fuck in her life, (which is reckon is pish), but she’s use Cunt at the drop of a hat!
The courtroom scene got me good the first time I saw this, I laughed for days thinking about her outburst when she called her a M-F’er 😂😂😂
This is still classic! remember the 90s before caller ID!
Caller ID predates the 90s, dumbass.
@@MrParkerman6 yeah but not everyone had it in 94 I grew up in middle class suburbia and it was still a novelty at the time
And *69. The good old days of landlines. I worked for pac bell from 1987-2000 so I was there during the start of the conversion to cell phones
what really kills me is beverly’s smile on her face as shes dialing, she just gets so much joy out of doing this…she puts the phone to her chest and grins in anticipation. this is the funniest movie of all time
Met Miss Turner in 2018, had my Blu-ray cover Autographed by her. Thank you Miss Turner for visiting us fans in Australia you are truly talented and this film will never age or lose it's humour!
I loved this movie. The crank calls were so funny. Kathleen Turner is a legend.
Turner should have won the Oscar for this!
Yes! She is brilliant in this movie. I can't stop watching it.
I remember she as nominated for a golden globe as best newcomer (or whatever the category was called) for Body Heat. She was up against Howard Rollins Jr and Elizabeth McGovern for Ragtime (excellent movie) Rachel Ward and Craig Wesson. And they all lost to Pia Zadora for Butterfly, considered by many one of the worst movies ever made. I’m sure it had nothing to do with the fact that her husband was head of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which presents the awards
'No woman would'
Is so hilariously patronizing.
Hornytoad 😂😂😂
🙄
Tells you everything you need to know about their sex life, too!
@@JackgarPrime right? no wonder she was messed up
@@JackgarPrime They had sex in the movie after she killed the teacher.
Awesome cast!!! Love Mink Stole "I'm a divorced woman please help me" 😍😂🤣😂
I love how her passively aggressive dominance over the gum worked! She made him comply with the house rules! He actually spit out the gum.
Before Matthew became also a killer in scream. His mom was literally a serial killer.
0:20 he was getting ready...lol.
OMG I literally always say this!!! 😂👍
Never get tired of this movie
Fibber, "I can't say the words out loud, I don't use bad language." "LMBOOO!!
Lol u said "LMBOOOO" rather than LMAO. LMAO
"Laugh my balls off", maybe?
God i just LOVE listening to Mink curse.
Mrs Wilson is the devil.
But yet she just cussed up a storm .
HOW did she NOT get A Golden Globe or Oscar for this role!?!?
The production company didn't have the distribution network to allow the film to have a wide release, sadly.
"I've never said the P word out loud"
"No woman would" that line kills
Mink Stole was the greatest actor to come out of the original John Waters clan!
Helps that she lived.
@@TheAnimeAlliance Fair lol but even in the early days I feel like she was the most natural of all the actors
This movie was hilarious! I wish John Waters would make one more hurrah with this quality. But it's so funny to see this now with the prank phone calls - landline phones, no caller ID, no blocking features. Crazy how quaint our world was once.
I always think it’s funny watching movies/TV shows from the 90’s and someone says something along the lines of “They must have that caller ID!”
you can still do prank calls with google numbers life hasn’t changed that much
One of my favorite John waters movie never gets old
I love that laugh after the first call!!😂😂😂
The Glee on her face 😂
The smiley face on the obscene letter. 😀😃😄😄😁😆
Yeah🤣😂😂
Kathleen Turner's facial expressions throughout serve so well to demonstrate the unhinged mentality of Beverly Sutphin, particularly in the kitchen scene and also when she employs this odd but believable (for the character) blend of innocence and raw confidence as she requests to serve as her own attorney. Amazing acting.
4:21 the look on Bev’s face when Dottie walked in. Like “Oh yeah this is gonna be fun!”
This is seriously one of my most favorite things to watch
Whenever anyone calls someone "fuckface" it's hilarious!
Qtip Word it flows off the tongue so easily.
Halari fuckin ous
Before caller ID
Yesssss
I called my ex "fuckface" when we WERE together🤣
I’m screaming 😂! She was so sweet like southern tea 💜🦋
Mink Stole's tirade as she's dragged out is my favorite string of Waters-esque profanities ever.,
That woman is amazing a delivering a string of profanities.
Dottie got her comeuppance for stealing that parking space.
Good, gooood!
Purr Dottie, purr purr Dottie.
One of the best movies ever!
Days before caller id. Simple times
@Peter Neal gotta have someone to disagree huh
Peter Neal How many people had Caller ID in 1993? I know I didn’t get it until around 2004.
@Peter Neal funny. Name the time and place so you can say that to my face. If not then i guess that makes you the bitch.
@@jaimepardo4023 Dude your name is Jaime... Life has punished you enough.
Gedaman, my family, and a couple of my friends' families, had in by 1996/97.
Turner and Waters are out of control. Wrong on every level. One of my all time favorite movies. I still laughed so hard watching this my eyes were tearing up.
This movie is too hilarious. It’s a shame nobody has the balls to make outrageous black comedies like this now. Ah, the 1990s was a great decade.
I’d recommend Sorry to Bother You!
Hoo-wee who we
8
I fucken larious that's what it is
Killer instinct
Man.. her laugh at 2:25 makes me fall in love with her everytime..
Ditto 🖤
She was having a ball.
The same)
This is the best laugh ever
Dark comedy done right I miss this type of comedy
Probably my favorite post Divine John Waters flick. Too damn funny
5:46 this moment cracks me up every time 🤣
I haven’t seen this movie in at least twenty years, and I was just watching this and when she started pointing out the birds I immediately said “Hoo-wee! Hoo-wee!” Oh my god I never knew this film stuck in my head so much
3:16 Poor Mrs. Puff (SpongeBob) was shook hearing all that random commotion 😭
the fact that this woman voices Jessica Rabbit and in the movie her son Matthew Lillard AKA stu, Shaggy, and William Afton I love this movie because it's hilarious and zany and it just makes me laugh that it's shaggy and Jessica Rabbit
Kathleen Turner I love her laugh when she's on the phone it's fucking adorable and deviant all at once 🖤❤️
Same
I quote her on the regular! 😜 A favorite!!
I thought I was the only one who did that!!!!!!😂😂😂
This is actually what Kathleen Turner does on her own free time even today 😁
Unless she puts on her Jessica rabbit outfit 😏🤣
I know. I can't get her to stop calling me!
Kathleen Turner and Mink Stole were perfect as Dottie, and Beverly...Best Jon Waters film..So funny...😂😂😂😂😂🤸♀️
0:20 He got too excited for his 1996 Scream role. haha
This movie is golden!
"I don't use bad language." HAHA!!!!!
I've lived in the US for seven years and its hilarious how most of the Mid West still lives basically this exact lifestyle.
Can confirm. It's how my mother lives.
She doesn't even have caller ID on her landline.
Except Baltimore is basically in the Mid-Atlantic region.
I don't think Baltimore is still like this. @@fromthehaven94
Her laugh 😆
"Hello? What number are you calling? You've dialed the wrong number! Sorry? What good is that? How can you ever repay the last thirty seconds you have stolen from my life? I hate you, your husband, your children, and your relatives!"
rellman85 I HATE THE SUPREME COURT
GO HOME TO YOUR MOTHER!! DOESN'T SHE EVER WANT YOU? TELL YOUR MOTHER THIS ISN'T SOME COMMUNIST DAY CARE CENTER. TELL YOUR MOTHER I HATE HER!!! TELL YOUR MOTHER I HATE YOU!!
Desperate Living LOL 🤩🤗🤪
3:09 kills me EVERYTIME 🤣. Troll after TROLL
She really should've WON an OSCAR for SERIAL MOM yo 😂❤
Hysterical, love this movie, when I'm feeling like shit, I put this movie on and laugh❤🤗
"Pussy willows Dottie" *SMASHES FRANKLIN MINT EGG*
‘Let the record show that I am merely standing here’ always kills me
This is one Funny Movie.
So So Many Laughs.
Thank You.
Classic comedy
Lou G. Hahahahaha
I loved this movie so much. I caught most of it on TV many years ago and never knew the name of the movie. I'm going to watch it all now finally. Thank you so much for sharing.
I absolutely LOVE this movie and never get tired of watching it!!!
i remember when i was in my early early teens me and my best friend would go through the phone book and prank call random numbers (nothing threatening) but just stupid crap just to entertain ourselves...lol. now a days i wouldn't waste my time. not gonna lie and say i never been tempted tho. not sure if the *67 even still works anymore to block your # from showing up...this movie is hilarious though. def a classic for sure!
I have got to watch this full movie! I've never seen the whole movie, seen a clip of it last night and this clip and I am loving it!
"Co*ksucker that's what she calls me." I love it!
"whoo-wee! whoo-wee!... whoo-wee!"
Dottie Hinkle's tiny parking misdemeanour completely threw the clearly psychopathic Beverly Sutphin over the edge. And now we all laugh. HARD.
Brilliant movie, yes it's rather erm, mainstream for John Waters, but it's still such a great time to watch.
😂😂😂 love her ❤ 🎉 my favorite movie 🍿 she didn't play about her children 😂❤
This movie is Hilarious 😂
Gawd...this movie is just an underrated gem😂😂😂"oh whee...oh whee"
When they open the note with the addition of the music sends me every time 😂😂😂😂
Christ that was Beaver Cleaver's mother I just love this movie it's one of my favorite movies LMFAO😊😂😂💕💕
lol i remember when me and my best friend would go through the phone book (before we all had cell phones) in the late 90s and just dial random numbers...i called some lady up and i was like "are you my mommy?" the woman was like "no sweetie, what's wrong?" i was like "cuz i'm scared...i'm in the mall and i can't find her" lol.
some asshole created caller id it's not the same anymore
Oh, this is my favourite movie! I love it! 👌😅
One of my favorite movies
I LOVE THIS MOVIE🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
She’s savage lol!! And she fine too that scene where she clocks that old lady with a roast beef or whatever that was was funny asf 😭😂
Rosemary shouldn’t have walked into her house
That looks like SO much fun!!
I wish I had the nerve to mess with people that make me mad. lol
I would feel bad... but it sure looks amazingly hysterical.
It's funny because no one got hurt. Just aggravated.
I haven't seen it all yet.
I've never even said the " P" word out loud.
“I have never even said the p-word out loud, let alone written it down.”
-Ben Shapiro
😂😂😂, when I say I love this movie it is too funny , I couldn’t believe I was soooo, late seeing this movie in life 😂😂😂
One of those movies that definitely should’ve had a sequel. Can you imagine the events that took place after everybody realizes she’s not innocent and did it? 😂😂
This film is the best of its genre! ❤
That's what she gets ! She shouldn't have gotten her parking spot
OH MY! That, that is the LIMIT! lol I LOVE THIS MOVIE!
🤣🤣🤣🤣She didn't have to do Dotty like that
i was screaming when i 1st saw this court scene.
Poor Stu never had a chance; his mother was a serial killer and it clearly rubbed off on him. He just wanted to make her proud but getting caught he knew she'd be so mad at him.
Making the family home the scene of the final bloodbath was not good.
...and Barry Manilow on the sdtk😍😍😍😍😍
All of this over a parking spot
😂😂😂
1:01 Oh my.... lol hahaha
This was social media for us back in the day 😂 don’t steal our parking spots!
I never realized it until I saw the cast of characters. Dotty Hinkle and Taffy Davenport were played by Mink Stole.
I loved this movie as a kid
