At one point in this video Joyce mentioned that Canada is very Fe or SFJ, and (as a Canadian myself) I agree. However, I also think Canada has a huge STP aspect to its culture -- this being particularly true in the western part of the country where a lot of people are very heavily focused on sports and being outdoorsy and adventurous. Me being very unathletic and always living inside my own head, I always felt like an oddball in such a culture, and I always felt like my strengths were constantly overlooked and unappreciated because it was so different to STP type strengths. A simple example: try being honest about your personality as an INxx type on an online dating profile in Canada -- you're not going to be very popular. On the other hand, the most popular profiles are always the people who describe themselves as "adventurous, outdoorsy, athletic, fun-loving", etc. And this is basically true for both men and women.
Interesting, I've never been to Canada so I can't vouch for this but I also think, don't lose hope. Yes there's always going to be more "popular" types in every culture but u will be surprised how individually, our preferences are pretty different. Like my friends and I look for totally opposite qualities when it comes to dating, and it isn't related to what's popular. There are definitely ppl out there for you, looking v hard for your qualities. :) You don't need everyone to love you but as long as you express your strengths confidently the right ppl will come along.
