This is gorgeous. I would have the kitchen hug the walls all around the end it’s on (like a boxed C) leaving it open to roam onto the living room. Possibly more windows or bigger windows, looks kinda dark inside, and floating stairs going up with black accent. Beautiful home. Thanks for sharing. ❤
Beautiful but I wonder if it’s possible to extend that large kitchen counter along the wall where the window is and put the sink under the window. That gives more empty space on the larger countertop.
Electrical panel needs to be inside. I’ve seen too many horror shows where they went outside to see what was wrong and then get attacked. Would like it if dimensions are in the description.
Beautiful style n colors! Only thing I would change is put another window across from the one in the loft, put a wrap around deck outside n ready to move in! 🎉
Love it. I could happily live there. The cabinet doors definitely need to be adjusted, and I would put bigger shelves on the kitchen wall to run the width of the counter. Storage is at a premium, so the missing couple feet of shelving would be very useful. But otherwise, it's lovely- especially the "no mdf" part- and it'd be perfect with a nice big porch outside!
@@allamaat3787 We will be posting a video soon that is furnished in another video. This model is currently available for sale: website www.driftwoodtiny.com. Contact me and let’s get you setup in this beautiful home!
Love the galley kitchen. I wouldn’t care if the tidy was a little bit wider. Very nice a senior I don’t need the loft. I’ll take note. A young couple can live with a senior design, but a senior cannot live with a younger design….
I sort of like it. Im actually an architect and this makes sense as a tiny home. Oddly, houses on wheels are exempt from standard building codes and property taxes in CA...even though our property taxes are low. That said, i live in a house in the Silver Lake area of L A. and want to put one in my backyard for fire refugees and rent it at cost for 2-3 years.
Where is the location for future reference? It doesn't say on the website. Looks like a nice home. I like the Driftwood model the best. It would be awesome if you could get it with an ADA kitchen for wheelchair users. I wish everyone major builder of these homes had ADA floor plans to choose from.
The location is in Collinsville AL and should be on our website. Also we are a custom builder and can change anything to meet your needs and wants! Please reach out info@driftwoodtiny.com

A young couple can live with a senior design, but a senior cannot live with a younger design…. Very nice home seniors are usually bigger people they’ve gained weight through the years. They’re part of changes. Must have more room in the shower. If you drop the soap you can’t bend down to get it you’ll get stuck in the smaller showers. Not good.😊. Windows that opens, must have a another exterior door on the backside, (good fire Xscape), must have porch, wonderful large enough to where you can have some of your own furniture in. Nice home. Very nice.!… for me must have a galley kitchen a lot of storage less floor space to walk from one appliance to the other…. That’s my opinion.😊ty
@@FayreeenAarow Thank you and we are a family owned and operated business. My father is 80 and I’m 50 so I understand senior. The shower may not look it but is a 3 foot shower which is in my mother and fathers home. Also there is a door on backside in bedroom and in living room kitchen, so door in every room. Also all the windows open and are low E energy efficient double pane. Plus if you watch my other video you can see this holds more than most tiny homes in the way of furniture. You can put a queen bed, dresser/mirror and nightstand in bedroom and large sofa and end tables plus stools to sit at island in kitchen. The loft for senior I thought would be great storage and for children in young couples. But we are a custom builder and I would be happy to build you one anyway you like please reach out to me! And thank you watching!
It looks beautiful and well built but it doesn't look like the toilet has standard side clearance. I would switch the washer unit with the toilet and make sure there is adequate clearance to do your business in comfort.
Would skip the shower "stall." Would make it a wet room instead, with a curtain. When the curtain is drawn back it would feel much more spacious as well as have more room to maneuver. Dislike the loft. Dislike the location of the minisplit, it reduces the amount of storage. Would rather have the kitchen near the bathroom. Like the front door.
@DriftwoodTinyHomes Just pointing out the poor design. I would have the wet room design as standard, and the "stall design" as the alternative. With a wet room design it would be easier to retrofit for handicapped people. Just put the toilet in proper spacing, add grab bars (and zero shower wall fuss to have to maneuver around, handicapped or not. Also be easier to clean if a sink, washing machina or toilet "overflowed." Less damage to repair later. Your toilet area looks way too narrow to be considered to residential standards. Think the wet room would be less expensive to build, as well.
Confused. The butcher block only lasts 5 years...never heard that one before. Honestly...I don't think this layout makes sense. I've seen buses feel more Luke a traditional home.

Love there's no mdf or dry wall. Great design.
Thank you!
Great price for a really solid and beautiful home. A wrap around porch would be amazing on this home!
Thank you! We really appreciate it. We actually built a wrap around porch and will be doing a tour of that home and posting it this weekend.

I like the kitchen sink facing the window as well.
I agree the sink should be on the wall and the pantry doors need to be a pull out pantry
Nicer, bigger than a regular tiny house. If you're single with some land, be nice. Electrical box outside is nice touch.

It’s interesting to me that almost every cabinet door opens in the exact opposite direction than it should.
All cabinet doors are reversible and can be changed to open anyway you like.
I noticed that also.
Nice looking home

Is it fire resistant! 🙏👑♥️
@@mylindacasbarro777 what are you asking?
It's beautiful, but what is a "fireplace sink"????
Its a "fireclay" farmhouse sink which which is more durable sink and doesn't get scratches when washing pots in it.

This is standard model feature to give more countertop space in bath but can make that change easily!
Does the ladder to the loft hang in that bar or is it permanently affixed to the wall?
@@JaniceBradford-t6o It hangs on bar and can be removed
Can things be changed, like the countertops/full size stackable washer drier/more windows?
@@Elizabeth-ij2rv Absolutely all of those things can be changed! Contact me: info@driftwoodtiny.com
I don’t like the tiny “lofts” in most tiny homes. My knees are too raggedy to be crawling around for any reason 😂
@@RRodriguez1904That’s why everything is downstairs and the loft is secondary bedroom or storage and great for rental investment.
The only differences I’d want are stains, a bathtub and stackable washer and dryer
I can provide skidmarks and lime in the shower for stain variations lol

What size is this model and what is the max size on a unit like this one?
this is 9'8'x41'4"x13'10"
The electric panel should have a cover over it so people can't get into it
It does with a spot to put a lock on it
What are the outside dimensions?
9’8”x41’4”x13’10”

The finish for waterproofing stain proofing your countertop last 5 years. The butcher block will last a lifetime.
Sink under window and extend the counter. Looks dumb how it is. Wasting so much usable space.
