This is gonna be so helpful! I am currently fixing my first car (Pontiac G3 2010) My dad is helping me but accidentally broke one of these nuts on the rare wheel hub as we were changing the brake drums. This is gonna be so helpful

I’ve been there done that!!!!! I do my own work now and use something called a torque wrench for lug nuts like you suppose to do. No fun on the side of the road with this problem from someone else’s mistake. Just like my dad used to say if you want it done right do it yourself!!!!!!!!!!

I literally dislike garage tire mechanics who write 76 ft/lbs in the form just after squeezing the air ratchet (to 140 or whatever) and then you break a tool getting it off. I’ve broken a 3/8 drive short ext snapon (thank goodness they are helpful over the phone) and lately a breaker bar Tektron. I’m currently looking for a one piece breaker bar that I can use with a cheater bar. One where the weakest link is the bar. Can’t imagine changing a tire on the highway at 1 am. Before people start, I’ll just say: we bent the breaker bar that comes with the vehicle. Ultimately it finally worked. Good and tight by hand and one extra Red Bull. Sorry English not so good

I got mine at a big name auto parts store , the orange sign one not auto zone but the other one , I used a impact wrench once I hammered the special socket on, on top of it , mine was the theft proof lugnut , I had no key , and to get it out after it was off I had to put the socket in a vice and blast out the lugnut with a air hammer and bit, in his video he just needed a vice grip , but yes he shows how good the tool works and how to use it , great video 😊

I got an extractor socket coming this week. Fuggin Walmart mechanics overtightened everything. Never again!!! I also snapped the nut off from the acorn on one of em, so that one is gonna be interesting to figger out. I'm gonna try drilling??

Tried these on a Liberty. Useless. Actually broke a breaker bar. Use carbide drill bits and drill.
