I am trying this receipt for first time, I am however a bit nervous about the fact that I have to "rotate" the cake pans after 20 MIN. I hope this doesn't affect the rising of the cake.....sure looks like a delish cake!
Dora Tuttle. you can bake one at a time and no rotation is needed. Bake for 30 and check it so it doesn’t overcook. Martha could have explained it more but unfortunately she didn’t.
2 3/4 taza harina, media cdta de sal, una cdta de bicarbonato, para la mezcla de chocolate 3/4 taza de cafe expresso,1 taza de cocoa, y una taza de leche , para la mezcla de húmedos, 3 barras de mantequilla 🧈 temperatura ambiente, 2 1/2 de azúcar, una cda sopera de vainilla, 4 huevos grandes, engrasar el molde con mantequilla 🧈 y espolvorearlo con 1 octavo taza de cocoa en polvo y papel encerado, el betún 12 cucharadas de mantequilla, 3 1/2 tazas azúcar glass, 1 taza de cocoa, 1/2 taza de leche entera y 2 cdtas de vainilla 😊 “todo cernido”

There are plenty of acidic ingredients in this cake to react with the baking soda to create enough rise.

She supposedly added the rest of them in the cut, before adding the hot cocoa mixture.
