This is so ridiculous...I get that everyone has the right to a proper defense, but watching the defense grasp at straws is painful. Not to mention, the female defense attorney is so unlikeable.
I happen to like the female attorney. While he might be guilty I am glad the defense is doing their job. If you or I were in similar position we would want an aggressive defense.
I very much like this Defense Attorney. She is particularly effective in the hearing post conviction where she presents crucial exculpatory evidence the DA withheld during trial. Her partner, not so much.
@@My6lvs I think you mean *decades and not centuries. Although sometimes I wish we could sentence someone to centuries in prison. Some people like Chris Watts deserve that!
If this lawyer is able to prove it wasn't nice to go to his work, he needed a nap and a bigger sandwich, on some technicalities they get allllll the evidence dismissed then what? Are they going to say he was psychic and found the body w his intuition? I just do not understand how they will get out of this.
How crazy they are claiming he was coerced into confessing and exhausted from working 12 hours but somehow knew exactly where her body was. Ridiculous. He must be a psychic!
@@Ann-kg1zd absolutely!!! The only thing that's been a lil suspicious about the cops so far was that one cop they investigated w a secret room and her body was found next to his house. Ok cop plants evidence. Ok that could happen but nope it didn't here cause how did he find the body ???? There is no plausible reason other than he put her there or magical powers.
Considering the fact that a third contributor of DNA was found in the trunk of the Chevy Malibu, why wasn't any other potential suspect tested for DNA? Cops cut the investigation short, there's another person tied to the car!
I'm suprised Dr. Spence was not asked about his billing and how much he received for his expert analysis in this case? Essentially to add nothing of consequence to the defense. Did I miss something?
Defense team has no argument against how the defendant was able to lead the police to the crime scene. This is a done deal if the jury has half a brain to be able to picture the entire court proceedings already.
I am convinced the defendant is guilty but that being said, he sure could have had help and they all need to be brought to justice. Mollie deserves it!
I presume the Defense is mounting a case, but frankly, I have no idea what it is. Their DNA expert witness really produced nothing for them, other than to hear him say there were 17 unmatched alleles in the tests conducted on the trunk liner. But is that of any significance? Hardly, it would be expected, given the car was previously owned by other parties. There was no good reason to determine who that unmatched DNA belonged to or how it got in the car. But for the Defense to imply that the investigation was incomplete because all DNA testing was not 100% matched is a huge stretch and beyond all accepted testing protocol. They may wishfully think this builds some doubt in the case but it really doesn't, given the absolute match found on blood smear on the trunk gasket (seal). Although it's not on this video, the questioning of Dalton Jack was a complete sideshow. Again, what was the point of that smear job? How many times did the defense attorney offer the same line of questioning? It was clear he was trying to get Mr. Jack agitated to the point of losing his cool on the stand, but if anyone appeared agitated, it was the attorney, not Mr. Jack. It was a pointless exercise because he never provided anything as an alternative theory regarding Dalton Jack for the jury to consider, therefore all it accomplished was to annoy and offend the jury at Dalton Jack's expense. We'll see what remains to be entered into evidence but I can't imagine anything of substance being offered, given their case thus far.
The defense definitely scraped the bottom of the barrel finding this guy. The town that this mans business’s is in, is horrible! I had to live there several years and it is truly a dump! It doesn’t say much for him being there as I had doctors personally tell me that the only doctors who move and work there are the ones that just care about getting the money from Medicaid because there are no dignified doctors who would actually want to work in that place. The majority of the citizens are immigrants that are on Medicaid and state welfare. So, it’s extremely poor and it’s nearly impossible to find any decent doctors there. This guy has no credibility in my opinion...
Bottom of the barrel? He stated his background and education. If the courts didn't approve of his expertise he wouldn't be testifying. He seems very educational and he describes everything to his job duties.
Hate to break this to you but illegal immigrants, like the defendant, can’t receive Medicaid or “welfare”. They are not eligible for either. As far as legal immigrants (those who have a green card or visa) only low income, pregnant women &/or low income children are eligible for Medicaid. As far as “welfare”-no such thing actually exists. Rather, what people call welfare is actually TANF-temporary assistance to needs families. It’s a small monthly check that ONLY single parents can receive & ONLY is available to US citizens. So, in sum, basically every single statement u made is incorrect. Except, I have no knowledge of what a doctor told u.
So there was at least 1 other female that bled in that trunk other than Mollie and no ones concerned? I think this witness just opened up the possibility that the defendant has put women in his trunk b/f Mollie.
Had to go back and have a look - she certainly did look like she was creaming herself LOL. Bet she wasn't feeling so gleeful after the prosecutor had finished with him.
I get that the defense has to bringing in its own DNA expert to argue against the state crime lab because of lost and/or degraded DNA of others who could have touched the defendant's car. But do not forget the fact that the defendant had led the police to Molly's remains without having any excuse for how he was able to lead the police to one of the crime sites other than claiming "blacked out"
Good Lord this guy is not helping the defense's case at all! If anything he's making the DNA evidence more confusing and harder to follow. I had to fast forward, he was giving me a headache!
So my interpretation is that there were multiple DNA found in his trunk. So my interpretation of this would be that gentleman has done this to many other women/men & shoved them in his trunk! He is definitely guilty!!!! This is such a waste of time & money.
No they didn’t. Mollie’s body didn’t have a single speck of anyone’s DNA on her skin, including her own. Because it was too degraded from the heat, sun & soil. That includes under her nails etc.
Except the defendant already admitted to the crime and tons of evidence in his car, and he took them to the body, and admitted to fighting with the victim right before she died because she threatened to call the police.
