Carbon car go cvrooooooom
Excited to see DYNO results
Nice video, the car sounds and looks great ,
I like this video towards the end when you two good looking guys are in the car. It sounds great!
You guys should throw the stock section 3 back on, you’re really missing out the low end grunt of the CSL box. It’s very V12-esque. The muffler sounds great, but it’s so loud it kinda drowns out the intake (I was in same position). I’m back on a stock section 3 with the CSL box and couldn’t be happier. Stock section 3 flows great and keeps you under the radar. Great job otherwise! 🙌
Did the intake seem to make your exhaust louder as well ? We think it may have. (intake we know is louder 😍)
But that’s not a bad idea, If we can get our hands on a stock section 3 we will give it a go.
And thank you!
That intake is HUGE
Nicely done! Looks so fun!
Sounds insane
Good video. Pls post any issues as there were a TON on these boxes on V1 and V2. Also pls swap the hideous Turner sticker for proper BMW M Power decal. Karbonius > Evolve > Turner and the rest on these
Thank you!
So far we have had no issues with the intake and we plan to make a full review in about 3 months after really feeling it out.
We agree on the decals, change coming soon
Looking good under the hood!!
aye i also have a carbon black m3 such a beautiful color
I want one of these so bad but idk about spending that much for this lol.
Dope video fellas. How would you rate the drivability compared to the OEM airbox? Does it still "feel" the same at lower RPMs or do you notice a difference in the daily driving experience? Thinking about getting this installed in my '04 Cabriolet but don't want to compromise the smoothness of ride. Appreciate any feedback or response you may have!
Thank you! The car drives pretty smooth still, it just seems the twitchy/jumpy character the engine already has is amplified with the extra power. This can vary with tunes though. Still planning to get a DYNO tune in the near future
@@TheCherryGarage Cool thanks for the response, are there any drawbacks you've experienced since you've installed it or has it been pretty much what you've expected so far?
It has been what I’ve expected so far, if you’re a big fan of the exhaust note you may consider the over powering intake growl a draw back.
Sometimes the intake drowns out the exhaust. But that’s a subjective metric.
What wheels do you have on your M3?
The Wheels are Cosmis R1’s
Your Vanos is pretty loud. Change that soon…
It smells crappy that's why you shouldn't try it
Are you referencing an added oil/gas smell after CSL conversion ?
