In April, when Morbius was released, I watched it with my uncle I just met, then two weeks later he has a stroke and my last memory of him was me watching Morbius with him. -That movie really did something to him
did he survive the stroke? edit: I asked because he said watching morbius was his last memory of being with his uncle but it doesn’t always mean that person died. If so, sorry for your loss. edit 2: he DID die. my apologies

Judging by what I've witnessed this entire year, it personally felt like a strange experience for me. There were some good things, some bad things, and even plenty of shocking events that occurred from my own perspective even. Of course I'm not gonna describe my entire experience with the year, but all I can say is that you won't ever know exactly what's gonna happen that can potentially change everything in terms of things such as society, people who we looked up to, and pretty much what we've been taught overall.
For me, I learned something- shit just keeps getting worse and people get more and more complacent regarding it unless it affects them directly. I have less of a will to deal with anything or anyone more than ever, and despite things going well for me, I still feel a sense of despair and worry buried by buying more things, eating better food, and forcing myself to go out and do more stuff spending money I don’t have.

How could you possibly forget the death of Kevin Conroy? The Batman!? The man who changed everything in DC forever. R.I.P mr Conroy, you will never be forgotten. 1955-2022
One thing you didn’t mention (probably wasn’t in news bulletins in the US) is floods. Pakistan had floods killing over 1700 people, and my home country Australia has been flooding for the entire year (including my home town, but we luckily weren’t affected too much). Two states flooded, and then another, and then mine a few months later. Around the same time as my state, another state got hit by a cyclone which caused, you guessed it, flooding. Of 8 states here, 5 flooded. My state is still flooding, and we now have a new virus/disease to watch out for (due to the water bringing mosquitoes), Japanese encephalitis. Also, Disney movie Lightyear got criticised for a lesbian couple in it, and celebrities that died include William Hurt, Olivia Newton-John, Robbie Coltrane (played Hagrid in the Harry Potter films), Pele, Taylor Hawkins (drummer of Foo Fighters), Pope Benedict XVI, Kevin Conroy (voiced Batman in many animated shows), and two legends of Australian sport Shane Warne and Andrew Symonds (Cricket stars, the former being a GOAT). Rest in peace to all that lost their lives, famous or not. We will miss you all.
29:11 So glad you referenced this video, because my friend Ollie Bye made this video of the entire history of the world on a map and put the population, politics, diplomacy, society, and inventions and discoveries at the bottom of the screen for every year, and shows every people that existed, took years to make and is extremely cool and therapeutic to watch, I recommend watching it.
I am currently crying so hard right now. This is seriously the most beautiful, well put together story ever. I can’t believe how magical it was 1:12. That part truly made me shed a tear. And especially at 6:34 that part was just so truly heart touching words can not describe the series of emotions I felt. I absolutely loved the climax it had insanely excellent detail. Oh and we can’t forget the conclusion. The conclusion was the greatest and saddest conclusion I have ever seen better than any of the books I have read. Thank you so much for creating this absolute masterpiece. This is essentially the most important masterpiece of film history. It is a tragedy that this, it can’t be called a film, but a transcendent emotional experience, will be inaccessible for most. It beautifully encapsulates the human struggle to its basics; suffering, pleasure, faith, despair. It connects with the characters within the viewers, individuals suppressed within our own subconscious. It stays vibrant, fresh, and revolutionizes the art of storytelling and filmmaking while making a damn of statement on what it means to be human. Entertaining, gripping, and simply exhilarating. This might be the most impactful piece of art I’ve come across in my life, and I’m definitely coming back to it in the near future to study it more deeply. this is an absolute masterpiece , I was brought to tears listening to this and seeing the bacon go whirly swirly in a circle countless times. it absolutely moved my soul , and I don't think I can ever be the same. this bacon has changed my entire mental state , I am now at peace with who I am and what I will be doing later in my life. i have forgiven all my enemies and now I am a man of a pacifist life. Especially when the bacon spins, showing its lightly salt covered tan skin. I can hear the crunch just from here, and so as the beautiful sound of the bacon scraping the dark, smooth velvet floor. The flavor, music and everything can be heard, tasted, seen and felt from a screen. You can really hear the breaths between the music artist, empathizing her love for this rotating bacon. 4:00 the war with Ukraine honestly hit hard. I had a Ukrainian online friend, he lived in Ukraine during the war. We talked a lot until I stopped really bothering with him. yes, 2022 was crazy, but 2023 was 10x more crazy, who knows what the now quite close 2024 will be like. there was... the whole Dog Man era from January to March, Jtards getting angry, Gorlock the destroyer, King Charels 3 getting crowned, Skibidi Toilet becoming popular, there was the that mother f***er is not real, Toxic Gossip train and the Grimace Shake almost all in 1 week, Mr. Incredible becoming uncanny became popular again as the CJ Planets was going crazy over people demanding 200 phases and completely deleting all his Mr. Incredible becomes uncanny videos, along with the release of Dog Man 11. the TikToker "Jhon Pork" becoming famous, Elon Musk changing Twitter to X, Ishowspeed showing his "hot dog" on stream, Barbie movie vs Openhiemer movie, the extreme heat that was confirmed the hottest weather ever on Earth, South Park Headsets and Roblox Avatars going mad around the internet and the new season causing the "South park Renisance" in the first 5 months of the year, Twitter (X) hating on MrBeast for curing sickness in Africa and curing Blind People, Twitch not doing anything about topless people on streams, Andrew Tate getting arrested on the first day of the year In Romania, Mr Beast Chocate and Burgers becoming famous, Chat GPT, Ai Pixar poseters, FNAF movie Vs. South park joining the panderverse movie, ZanskuyAE making more then 1000 Mr Incredible becomes uncany phases, People Starting to lose belief in the Sun going away In 5 billion years as NASA says its gonna explode, making people just belive this is just to depress children, Omegle shutting down, Israel vs. Hamas, Mascot Horror becoming popular, Dog man 12 cover getting revealed, the whole "Fake Del" thing that started a war in a small Roblox game called "PBS Kids Roleplay", Gumball Vs. Dream, Meta releasing Threads, and SO much more! even just 1 month of 2023 could be 50 minutes of not everything.
Correction on Kazuki Takahashi. It wasn't a snorkeling accident, there was a typhoon about to hit an area near him and he died saving some kids from the storm.
@@cultisticlyaccurate yeah tbh, i'm not a fan of him but i'd rather see him proven innocent than guilty bc it means he actually committed the crimes he's been accused of
great video, as a first time viewer, really accurate, chronological, funny, kept me interested and i didnt even notice that 30 minutes of my life just went past. but one thing which i feel is quite important was left out. Ozzy Osbourne released Patient Number 9 this year. the baby daddy of metal released a whole new, amazing, album, aged 73 at the time, and still performed despite his Parkinsons and every other health issue hes had, and right after a major surgery on his spine as well. the Goat of music.
This year was fucking big for me. Having stupid fun in high school, crazy fucking drama going on, getting into METAL, becoming depressed for the first time ever, so much good and bad shit everywhere that made this year wild. I can’t even explain except maybe write a book about it. Jesus
This is the best recap of 2022 that I think I have ever seen, actually the best recap of any year Thanks for filling me in on all of the crazy sh*t that happened last year
Thank you for doing this! This year, I turned 21 years old in July and celebrated my birthday by going to the casino! The worst month for me this year was in October. I won't go into too much detail about why, but it involves my obsession with Candy Suxxx. I understand that you didn't cover Kirby and the Forgotten Land! That game was the best one of the year for me. And understand you didn't cover the 20th anniversary of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City too!
This year's fall was my favorite and least favorite. I attended a funeral for my sister's friend and my friend moved to Michigan, but I got to go down to Florida to go to a dirt track. A few other events happened. Thanksgiving was fun I guess.
Honestly, the first half of 2022 and the end felt like two different timelines put together to create the year that was 2022, does anyone else feel this way?

ooking back at this year it was honestly really great imo much much better than 2020 & 2021 it was so fast paced yet a lot of exciting shit happened and we got a lot of great content creators to pop off this year hopefully 2023 will be a peak year
Not too big/mainstream of an event but I just wanted to leave it here because it means a lot to me personally. On June 9th, popular anime dub voice actor Billy Kametz had past away due to stage 4 colon cancer that he had been diagnosed with back in April. He was most well known for voicing Josuke from JoJo's Bizzarre Adventure, Naofumi from Rising of the Shield Hero, Dr. Maruki from Persona 5 Royal, and many other characters. I really miss him.
In April, when Morbius was released, I watched it with my uncle I just met, then two weeks later he has a stroke and my last memory of him was me watching Morbius with him.

You should do this every year. This was amazing.

2022 has been an iconic year for culture and myself.
“I don’t want to talk about politics.” Proceeds to talk about politics in half of the video 😂
The spinning bacon, rotating in one direction with this music... This made me tear up. How could such a bacon do such a thing? I'm struck by awe by this masterpiece. Truly what I call modern art. This was the most legendary performance by any piece of bacon I have ever watched. The acting was top tier and very life changing. yes, 2022 was crazy, but 2023 was 10x more crazy, who knows what the now quite close 2024 will be like. there was...
the whole Dog Man era from January to March, Jtards getting angry, Gorlock the destroyer, King Charels 3 getting crowned, Skibidi Toilet becoming popular, there was the that mother f***er is not real, Toxic Gossip train and the Grimace Shake almost all in 1 week, Mr.

Rest in peace kazuki takahashi

love how he said december wasn’t that much then a couple days later andrew tate gets arrested 😂
well that's a way to start off the year
I owe 2022 an apology for treating it so harshly

If you think arresting innocent people is banger then you should move to Russia or China

The fact that a timeline of one year is 30 MINUTES just proves how crazy it was
cant wait for the 2023 version because i legit dont got a clue whats been happening this year

This year was fucking big for me. Having stupid fun in high school, crazy fucking drama going on, getting into METAL, becoming depressed for the first time ever, so much good and bad shit everywhere that made this year wild. I can’t even explain except maybe write a book about it. Jesus

Happy late birthday! 21 seems like it would be one of the best birthdays lol I am turning 18 in 2023
