      We make a drink with pineapple skin without boiling it. Wash the pineapple, and use the fruit. Place the skin in a jug with a lid and fill with cold water. Leave the bottle alone for at least 3 days but depending on the temperature of your kitchen and weather, and the particular characteristics of the pineapple, it may take about a week. Strain, sweeten (each pineapple is different) and pour into a bottle or jug. Leave until very slight bubbles form. If using a screw top bottle, you'll hear the carbonated sound. Delicious.

    In many families, people have been recycling pineapple skins to make table wines, vinegars, tizannes, teas, sodas, slurpies, seltzers, gelatos, flavored waters, flavored vinegars, flavored syrups, flavored brandies, electrolytes, for all age categories, with recycled pineapple skins, without any excentric chemical additives like hydrogen peroxides, nor baking sodas.
    And also feed the used pineapple skins to your backyard barn animals... and make composts for your gardens, and flower beds too, when you want.

    One city in Puerto Rico are fields, fields and fields of pineapple growing there. The whole town smells like pineapple. So, the Puerto Ricans never waste a pineapple. Puerto Ricans make a tea. Second, they cut the skin, bite size, boil it with cinnamon and sugar to make candie; but the water must evaporate a little until the skin is tender to eat.

    Hi, a quick life saving tip: yes pineapple skin works magic and all that. Even parts of the crown is medicinal but please don't neglect to add that ONLY ORGANICALLY grown pineapples are useful for this...you don't want to pick just any pineapple and start using its skin. Imagine all the chemicals living in the skin of forced pineapples? Yes you don't want to ingest all that toxin. By all means you want to stay healthy but do it right. Stay safe

    • @judyklah3098
      @judyklah3098 2 года назад

      @@missalphaomegagod-2u hi, well usually you just want to check for the feel and smell. A hard rocky pineapple is definitely not ripe. A ripe one would not be necessarily butter-soft but pressing the exterior would usually give you a little soft feel. Also, you’d want to take a sniff around the pineapple or it’s base to determine it’s ripeness. A ripe pineapple should generally have a sweet fruity delicious smell. The color is rarely a determinant as some pineapple species are generally very green even in its ripe state. This may not be much but hope it helps.

      I didn't add anything. The pineapple skin naturally makes it sweet 🧡

    Bromelain also digests protein. That’s why after eating a lot of pineapple your mouth and/or lips hurt afterward. Essentially, when you eat pineapple it eats you back lmao
