Don't throw away the skin sis, blend the skin with the water also, the same water you boiled it in, then strain it and drink. Nothing must go to waste.
In Jamaica we don't use cloves & turmeric; just a lot of ginger. And washing with hydrogen peroxide - I'm not so sure as this is sometimes used to give tint streaks in women's hair.
Oh Darling thank you for this upload yesss it does indeed help me with Arthritis and pineapple is what I eat to fight off the pain but I never knew the skin could be made into Tea! Wow. Oh wow, can't believe I've been throwing away the skin all of this time. And I hear pineapple is good for loosening & eliminating phlegm, which I have too much of.

@@AskDebbieAboutHair We make a drink with pineapple skin without boiling it. Wash the pineapple, and use the fruit. Place the skin in a jug with a lid and fill with cold water. Leave the bottle alone for at least 3 days but depending on the temperature of your kitchen and weather, and the particular characteristics of the pineapple, it may take about a week. Strain, sweeten (each pineapple is different) and pour into a bottle or jug. Leave until very slight bubbles form. If using a screw top bottle, you'll hear the carbonated sound. Delicious.

FYI Drinking this during your menstrual cycle will make it last a tad bit longer due to the bromelain. But I’m gonna try this the other three weeks of the month
I would love to do this. BUT, I am so concerned about ingesting pesticides from the skin. There is so much chemicals being used, even organic is a lie.
Thank you Queen Debbie, My name is Tyrone, you are so sweet from sharing this wonderful drink with us. And just to think I used to throw the peeling away. Now I could use the entire pineapple to nourish my body. Oh and I want to share with you there's a little device that you could use to ream out the pineapple leaving the peeling on Amazon. Thanks again and you so sweet and with a wonderful smile 😊. Stay safe Love you.
In many families, people have been recycling pineapple skins to make table wines, vinegars, tizannes, teas, sodas, slurpies, seltzers, gelatos, flavored waters, flavored vinegars, flavored syrups, flavored brandies, electrolytes, for all age categories, with recycled pineapple skins, without any excentric chemical additives like hydrogen peroxides, nor baking sodas. And also feed the used pineapple skins to your backyard barn animals... and make composts for your gardens, and flower beds too, when you want.
I made this pineapple tea today and it is absolutely delicious! I’ll be making this weekly in Sundays to drink everyday before work now instead of having coffee.
That’s amazing. Someone told me that after you strand it for tea, put in a cup or bowl & it will be like a room deodorizer. Not sure how long the aroma will last but you’ll know.

Subscribed. I was just trying to figure out a way to utilize pineapple skin a few weeks ago, then this video randomly pops up. I buy so much pineapple when it’s in season, and this recipe is easy and perfect for what I need.
Hi, a quick life saving tip: yes pineapple skin works magic and all that. Even parts of the crown is medicinal but please don't neglect to add that ONLY ORGANICALLY grown pineapples are useful for this...you don't want to pick just any pineapple and start using its skin. Imagine all the chemicals living in the skin of forced pineapples? Yes you don't want to ingest all that toxin. By all means you want to stay healthy but do it right. Stay safe
@@missalphaomegagod-2u hi, well usually you just want to check for the feel and smell. A hard rocky pineapple is definitely not ripe. A ripe one would not be necessarily butter-soft but pressing the exterior would usually give you a little soft feel. Also, you’d want to take a sniff around the pineapple or it’s base to determine it’s ripeness. A ripe pineapple should generally have a sweet fruity delicious smell. The color is rarely a determinant as some pineapple species are generally very green even in its ripe state. This may not be much but hope it helps.
All you need is the pineapple skin and a little bit of fruit like the middle hard part. Nothing else. Clean well and I leave in water for half an hour to an hour and then boil in low heat for 45 minutes. No sugar It is sweet naturally. Been doing this for years.
Excellent tutorial on how to use pineapple skins to make a fantastic tea and improve our health. Love your channel. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe and healthy❤️👍😍
