Venables has blown it. He wasted his anonymity chances. And the public needs protecting from him, he’s proved it.
Why is he getting such protection
He is a child murderer
The fact he did this as a child shows what a monster he is ,
So refreshing to hear Venables’ lawyer’s take on things! I damn near cheered.
Why safeguard venables ? It’s his next victims that should be safeguarded 🙈

I don't know why this even needs to be debated. They should have served time in a real prison when they turned 18. Denise herself said she never wanted them locked up forever but they should have served real time. Then once released, if they were ever to reoffend it should have been on the condition that that was that, no more chances. The fact that Robert has gone on to never reoffend speaks volumes about how Jon should never be free. Rightly or wrongly, they both got their chance and one of them took it, the other proved he was the ringleader of the murder that day and should never be anywhere near a child ever again. Neither should Robert, but for the purposes of this particular discussion.
Why are we always protecting the criminal and not the children?
You don`t know Robert hasn`t re-offended,he might have just not been caught yet!!
Also we don’t know that Venables was the ring leader.
Robert may just be a psychopath so is able to live his life without any of the emotions of what happened.
I have read elsewhere that Robert was actually the main motivator behind it, rather than Jon Venables. But that seems very unlikely considering what Venables has done since. Child porn and being found with an abduction kit doesn't sound like an innocent mind led astray.
What freaks me out is that they could go on and marry and have children with someone and that person not knowing anything about it… wild

But anyway, the long and the short of it is that it is almost inevitable our repeated mercy to this man will be paid for by another mother, sooner or later, as he takes their child.

I don't feel a lawyer should be discussing his client, no matter how vile or long ago the crime was.

He can be monitored and placed on GPS or tracking as required.
Not sure he should ever get out. He is a danger. Period. If he loses his anonymity and cut loose he will lose his life. He should stay locked up. He was given enough chances.

Jon Venables has been given his chances and cannot be given endless new identities. Other children who are killers have gone on to live normal productive lives. There is a difference.
He can easily be found if he gets out.......

Its really difficult. If you dont protect his anonymity then he would probably get mobbed and murdered, although I couldnt care less if he did, the person or people that did it would get arrested and thrown in to prison for doing the exact thing that everybody wanted to do when they should be congratulated for it

I don't know why foreign media hasn't named him. There are pictures of him as an adult online. I suspect as some point he will be exposed, and the court orders will be circumvented. Then he'll have to go and live abroad.

Not much has been said about there parents also and never been mentioned. We can say about amonity but the queen and royals celebs get this everyday as they pay people to keep quiet.

You're taking bible verses to suit your own narrative. Those are the rules of law in the old testament. Those changed once Jesus came. In the OT people were punished on earth for their crimes. Once Jesus opened the gates of Heaven by dying on the cross, it became that we face our particular judgement at the time of death, and we face purgatory or hell. Jesus absolutely never taught an eye for an eye and that can quite easily be seen in the new testament if you insist on using the bible alone (very dangerous practice) for your moral references.
