Definitely going to tie some up for under the ice this winter. Thanks.

You inspired me to order some acrylic paints from Amazon today. Not sure where you found the wool you use for your body shape. Tied 3 today using macreme cord broken apart. Played with some paint on a couple and I liked. Great stuff!

Have you ever tried thinning your paint out so it soaks down through the material like an ink? These look terrific as it is, but you can do a lot with acrylic paint just by thinning it out with water. It might give you something cool to experiment with on patterns like these. Great looking flies.

Why not paint the wire wrapped ones before you wrap them? It seems it would save you from cleaning the wire after?
    Great patterns, nonetheless. Simply curious.
    Peace.
