Surplus Herbies has a package of flies done by these guys. Cronimin and flies. Killer patterns.
Now I’m liking that you guys are liking some of the old school patterns. They work great here in Colorado. I tie a few of these using a deep purple sparkle chenille for the gills 👍🏼 nice tie and no frills (to your vids) - that’s a good thing
Awesome fly tying skills and lovely Chironomid Pattern will give it a go for sure. Cheers Peter.
Nice work....I enjoy all your patterns
Definitely a killer fly! I substitute Ice Peacock dubbing and brown leech yarn for the wing. MUCH MUCH more durable!!!
Thank for this great looking fly. I am fairly new to fly fishing and haven’t fished a beadless chrironomid before. Do you use some weight on your tippet to get it down still under an indicator or use a sink tip fly line? Also is the retrieve the same. Thanks. I learn so much from these videos and your Instagram. I am moving to Kamloops next year and getting excited for a full fall fishing.
Nice video! Any chance you guys would do a tutorial video on a bucktail fly?
really nice buzzer. I did not understand something - what is bathing in acetone? Thank you for your answer!
Are you from Kamloops if so have you ever fished Edith Lake? I was there recently and had some success with a black leech pattern I was wondering if you have any recommendations on flys for Edith or Logan lake. Also great video
