Josh, my wife and I (29 years, happily married) are big one-pot-meal fans. However, this special dinner menu peaked my interest and made it for my wife - just because. I don't consider myself a "cheap" person, but the combination of ingredients and flavors described sounded great to me. I made this last night and it was absolutely divine! Definitely impressed my fiancé! The pears were really tummy too but holy hard candy mess...I did something wrong. The sugar hardened too much. I will try it again and maybe add some rum. I work better when I’ve had a shot lol!!
You might’ve not added enough butter, at least that’s what i think could be the problem. It happened to me when i tried to make caramel syrup for another recipe. Did not try the pears though might try them for a dinner soon!
Made this today. Fantastic recipe Joshua. I used chicken breasts since I was too lazy to cut up legs on Friday night. I should've stayed closer to 15 mins (juicier) than 18 mins in the oven (ended up being 185C) but it was still delicious. The only modification I made was adding a piece of prosciutto in the middle since I had extra in the fridge. It provided a nice kick of saltiness but was still balanced with the chimichurri.
I cooked this with my bf yesterday and it was a fantastic date night! Omg I love all the recipes! The chicken with cheese and basil tasted great and the pears omg were so easy but so delicious! Please try this recipe! And Joshua can you make more date night videos???? Please!!!!

Passion for food But think what a treat it will be to have this meal all to yourself!
hey hey, keep your hands above the covers now
Price of three course meal by Josh: $14.91.
Value of impressing Josh's girlfriend: PRICELESS.

I wish all RUclipsrs that do food related videos/recipes would list out the ingredients in the description. Appreciate it👏🏼
I love how people are complaining that they aren’t in a tight cabinet
Love how he still got the same energy when he’s filming and editing😂❤️
I made this all for my wife and I tonight. It's was all delicious. I had no idea what to expect with the chicken flavor combos but it was incredible. I used Apple for dessert since that's what I had. 10/10
place us back in the cabinet father. I left my cheetos in there and now I have to scavenge for food
I was really anticipating...
"Do you wanna know what else is moist and sticky?..... B-roll."
But no... not today.
Josh, my wife and I (29 years, happily married) are big one-pot-meal fans. However, this special dinner menu peaked my interest and made it for my wife - just because. I don't consider myself a "cheap" person, but the combination of ingredients and flavors described sounded great to me. This morning I baked a few sourdough breads using the recipe you made with Babish. Yes, that one, and they turned out great. The dinner was absolutely great, my wife and I absolutely loved it, and it was worth the effort it took to make. Thank you!
I like the diversity of the intro being in different places. You can get really creative with that too. Like put us in a bowl or behind a curtain lol
And for those who are single:
Make this three course meal and post pictures of your finished product on social media to get the attention of the single ladies in your life.
#LoveMePlz
Good idea, they'll all come flocking
Notice me senpai!!
ahahahahahahaha
wait people actually know girls
Do more cheap date nights please!! And make a playlist for it! Thanks
When the guy is so rich, he doesn't even bother to spend 4 extra seconds, to get to 10 minutes.
Still got 2 ads tho
It's 8 mins now
Why is 10 min
no one cares extra ads = extra money
Please do more of these! They’re so useful and I love to see how you can make cheaper meals look and taste so amazing :))
I can't believe I have not seen this episode before now. Thanks for sharing this one Josh, it's been hard for my wife and I to have a date night during COVID, as I'm a two-time cancer survivor and have had to take extra precautions. Love your channel, and really appreciate all the hard work you and your crew put in getting all this content out for us.
its a good thing to start off with garlic bread, cause if she doesnt like garlic, you can send her home right away and invite your mates instead. trust me.
I'd like to thanks Jesus for allowing me to wake up early enough for this vid
And here I am, after staying up aaaalll night and now I’m watching this.
I'd like to thanks Jesus for letting me sleep so late I woke up at four to watch this video
It's midnight here
It’s 12:13am for us Australia..waited so long
Amen, God bless ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ
Can we all just appreciate the videography for the food? 🥺❤️
Honesty, how many of us actually watch Josh’s videos to make the food? I feel 99.9% of us just watch for his comedy.
Monetizaton : *exists*
Josh: "We don't do that here"
Everything looks amazing! Would have loved to see you set the table ❤
When you make a video 4 seconds under 10 minutes just for the flex
This comment is underrated 😂
Please!!!!
fun fact: joshua has just made more money from this video that what he spent in the actual cooking. Genius
Love how Josh is so fancy in how he prepares it and then she's just like "that slaps" lol
Love this! I’m making it for my hubby this week. Josh, et al, a wise teacher once told me dessert has 2 s’ as in you always want seconds on dessert but nobody wants seconds of desert 🌵
I know it's a year later 😅🤣but How'd it go ?
@@lolll3360 Great! We are still together 😉
Watch Josh's video
Gets hungry
Too lazy to go to store
Proceeds warming up noodles.
This is the endless cycle of torment that is watching Joshua's videos.
Just lived this 🥴🥴
😂👍🏽
I barely found your channel. & let me tell you, It's top tier content
Put us in the oven instead.
Or optionally, on top of your toaster.
I'll be honest, I felt safer in the cabinet. It's like my home. But I'm open to change, you do you.
This is the first video I’ve ever seen, and WOW consider me a subscriber! Equal parts hilarious, entertaining, and informative 😌
At the restaurant I used to work out we’d make these beautiful miso marinaded cauliflower heads and we’d use them to make this gorgeous veloute with a splash of truffle oil. Easily one of the most delicious things I’ve tasted ❤️

Kate : "Join our date night Vickram"
Vickram : Well, Third Wheelin' all the way!!
You're probably my favorite online chef. Thanks for you're videos man. Also, love the editing when the camera wasn't focusing on you and your lady. Well done.
I fricken love this dude. He’s got 2million subs and I just found him. Wtf RUclips
Ugh acc 4M now
Joshua: "oh my God, my knees"
Who else heard him?😂
🤚Me! LOL! It is a common occurrence amongst cooks; spending too much time standing in one place, but the old man groan. LMFAO!
@@AF-ke9by it was hilarious😂
Leiska P Totally!
He needs to pray for the knees of thee stallion 😂
@@mon6745 I had to google it LMAO😂😂
I'm here to say that I've been doing this desert for over a year with one difference: I put caramel pears with pecans on plain ice cream and IT IS FIRE. Better than any baskin robins, etc. Many thanks
I love how he is talking like an absolute expert about all the ingredients, the sauce and his Girlfriend is just like _this slaps_ lmao

Lol
Ha at least you’ve had a girlfriend or a significant other of some sort in your life ;-;
About 2 minutes. Not that bad. Bad, but not that bad.
The toaster looks like my life savings
I love Josh’s but cheaper videos. A lot of times they aren’t as cheap as he says, but they’re still next to nothing especially when compared to restaurant prices
When Josh said ‘Oh, my knees!’ At the end, I really felt it in my old teenage bones.
Hello! I’ve cooked you chicken leg recipe, and it turned out wonderful! Looking forward to seeing more dishes with interesting plating for home-cooks😂
I like the diversity of not always being in the cabinet! I would also trim your outro, or move your summary to before the B-Roll goodness so you can end on those beautiful notes.
“Josh is not very good at math”
Looking at him he looks like he is😂
