I snapped that nipple off while replacing the vacuum pump gasket lol. My car went from "functional but slightly leaky" to "stranded in my driveway". Always fun when you do that
No matter how you slice it, working by feel only and without line of sight, is a real pain in the ass. You made it look relatively easy. Kudos to you my man, obviously years of experience…😊 👍🏼
As a female in distress lol because I couldn’t find anyone to fix my car I needed to come back to this video simply to thank you !! You have saved me a trip to the mechanic I did the job on my own and u made it look extremely easy 😊 so again THANKS!

Thank you sir.
Thanks you kind sir… you have saved me many wasted hours trying to figure out the best way to fix my A4! Appreciate you! I have a 2010 A4 with 200,000 on it still looks and drives like new!
Same on my 09 b8 When you say turn to mud , you meant it!!! My nipple snapped off out of no where and was spraying coolant like crazy. You are true master mechanic and I Hope everyone appreciates your expertise, dedication to 2.0t drivers and your humor! Lmao. You are a rockstar bro! Maybe we can get in touch for K04 upgrade!
when I deal with little clips I unlock them a little and run fishing rope if I don't have any handy so I don't loose them........ great information friend........
Another great video! Do you know the name or part # of the plastic "T fitting" that @ 9:12 in your video. The line with the fitting is the lower hose coupled to the bigger one. I can't find a part number or anything that comes close. Mine looks like it pulled the hose and it stretched the plastic, I'm not sure if its supposed to look like that or not. Thanks again, cheers!
Gotta question,do you ever streight up sell rebuilt engines ??? Gimme a price I need one asap or I'ma gonna be forced to rebuild the one I have just pulled
It’s not my flange it’s no leak thought was my thermostat replaced that still leaking I can’t seem to find the leak only leaks when I start the car I let it sit it doesn’t not sure where else to look any ideas?
i watched your last video about this part and i repalced it yesterday in less than 1 hour. The only thing that i can say is that using the special hose clamp tool made a big difference. One odd thing i saw is when i removed the part i saw gasket maker instead of an oring. I dont know if it was factory or somebody else before me.
I recently changed the outlet flange and all the connections fit except the heater hose it moves around a bit and pops off when driving. Any idea what could be wrong?
Kinda running out of material showing us a 2 bolt flange replacement. But for amateurs a full how too is good.. It's good to hear which ones go bad most. I always do those small hose outlets too. The heater cores don't seem to blow out as bad as they used to?
Quick tip for those who don’t know. If you break anything while changing this part such as the connectors for the hoses which broke on me.. they don’t make the heater hose connectors for the Audi A4 you have to replace the entire hose. The a3 has the same connector as well as a multitude of parts not available
Do you know if this coolant housing leak would cause the smell of coolant to go through your heater vents..I understand that it could be a heater core issue. But not only can you smell it on the inside, you can smell it outside of the car as well. I haven't found any coolant or wet spots in the cab anywhere...just smell it through the heater vents while the heater is on and you can also smell it if your standing next to the car as well. It's a 2006 a3 fwd though so everything is on the side for me...other then the heater core inlets.
Here’s what is missing in the video The scum at Audi doesn’t sell with the new flange , THE HOSE QUICK CONNECT THAT GOES BAD WITH THE FLANGE!!!! 😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬
I'm eating chips while watching this... nearly chocked while laughing, when I heard "It's not my fault if you are not talented!"!! LOL
I know right??? lmao
That was funny.. Nap has a very sarcastic humor at times.. 🤣

Bro you said it, I was getting the fuel line lined up on my hpfp and just grazed the tip you chunked off and crack coolant fountain onto my trans
Just finished replacing my pump when coolant started squirting from this bad boy 😂😂😂
Hey bro love your videos, need help, my audi a4 2011 doesn't send water to heater core, what's the problem in your opinion
In the top t30 bolt is a metal bracket is that necessary to put back on or can I leave it off
Is that metal bracket from the top screw necessary to fit back?
Do you have to bleed the coolant when changing the coolant flange ??
Actually eBay sells those clips by themselves. They’re expensive af but they do sell them individually.
Does a 2010 Audi Q5 premium V6 engine I'm pretty trying to figure out how to do a tune-up
Where is the coolant temperature located for that one ?
Do they have the aluminum one's to it?
Hi. Can I put some RTV silicone on hose?
Gotta question,do you ever streight up sell rebuilt engines ??? Gimme a price I need one asap or I'ma gonna be forced to rebuild the one I have just pulled
How many hoses are connected to this flange?
It’s not my flange it’s no leak thought was my thermostat replaced that still leaking I can’t seem to find the leak only leaks when I start the car I let it sit it doesn’t not sure where else to look any ideas?
There a way to replace with aluminum parts?
2010 Audi Q5 how do you do a tune-up on a got a lot of stuff in the way how do you do a tune-up

Do you know if they make a metal or aluminum replacement for this part?
Old comment but yes, there exists an aluminum version, but the only one I found was from China. Still probably better than the plastic however.
Also had to change the hose which didn’t have a yt for but I managed to get it done
My car has been overheating ever since changing this part. I cannot get the air out of system and it’s driving me crazy
“It’s not my fault if your not talented.” 😂
thanks very helpful and yeap is not your faul if I'm not talented!!!😂😂😂😂
Why dont you have a VW & Audi engine comparison. To compare how each company deals with their individual problems using the 2.0T FSI platform.
Ola amigo una pregunta porque el Audi regresoa agua al depósito y no se calienta q puede ser gracias
@naptowntuner for president 🗳 🗳
whats the part number on this?

And you know ? I have the same problem bro
@@petercensor1167 It ended up being the clip that came with the flange was bigger than the orginial one so i just swapped the clip.
