Thank you for the excellent video. The exact same thing happened to my 2009 Passat Komfort Wagon yesterday. RUclips is the best. Thanks again for taking the time to post this video.
Gotta love it. I've been doing a head replace on my mk5 gti (timing tensioner...) Putting it all back together and this little f*cker is leaking. Coolant + heat + VW plastic + 10 years = mush. I guess I'm going to autozone tomorrow.
How has the dorman held up? Customer doesn't wanna spend the extra 20-30 on an OEM. Just want to make sure it's gonna work. Have been hit or miss with dorman products
@@Usmanthemecano I almost had a heart attack cuz I had no idea what the hell that part was or if it could even be fixed in the first place super grateful that it can be

Well that car never came back
Hey man i got the same problem i was wondering if i could call you to ask you sum questions
What is the name of the part you brought from autozone at the end?
Heater hose connector
Where are you located
Hiw do you take it off. .I took the metal clip off ..but still haveing trouble removing it
Just soak it in lubricant and just try and rotate it back and forth
Actually you pull it straight out i used a pick to grab the plastic and easy tug. Dont break the heater core.
This is 110% what broke on my car what is this part called
Did you figure out a name?
I went through same problem, had to fix this for neighbors car
How much did you spend if you don’t mind me asking ?
the whole idea to make a video about parts replacement is to show how it is done from being to the end.
Or sometimes just like the title suggested : it is to show what the title says: a leak ...
how did you remove the piece?
Has a clip that locks it to the heater core.
@@Usmanthemecano yep I remove the clip but still hard to get off
How couldn't he find the leak sounds like a shade tree 🎄
I was talking about the customer
@@Usmanthemecano so what I thought it was funny
Lose 1 side heater ability with ea of those

Well at least you know how to fix now 😉
