Your opening statement is true and why I’ve loved the game since it released. It’s just such a unique fps shooter and allows for so much replay ability. Glad you’re enjoying it so far.
There is always just some new strategy that makes your whole team lose. Even if it's dumb if well played the dumbest strategies can make you lose because you just can't be ready for every strategy unless you play with a team who can do teamwork well
Siege is a gem but in muddy hands.

I'm thinking of playing this game but I like fps shooter games like csgo and some what valorant should I buy? Is this game a fit for me?
@@matin6916 The game costs like 5 USD on Steam rn. Definitely worth buying, because no other game offers such experience.
I come back every season to play for a few hours and I enjoy it. The game is hard tho, it's way harder than csgo/valorant, because of being able to make destructions, small holes, pixel peeks, and so many scanable surfaces.
Definitely good game.
I no longer play csgo, but Valorant/CSGO/PUBG - I always come back.
Ubisoft also provides an insane support for this game, the last 3 years were huge and clearly show that they will keep supporting the game.
There were indeed problems with servers, cheaters, some balance issues, but well... every game suffers from the same shit, so I'm pretty much use to it.
Siege is such a unique experience that you can play it and put it away and come back to it months or years later and it feels refreshing, fun, and addicting.....like an FPS player's vacation home.

I'd say something like CS is a better fit for that description . Siege is good but I come back from 2019 and I don't know what half of the new operators do.

I have the opposite take tbh, playing vs better players how they killed me always teaches me angles I did not know existed, c4 throws, map spots, roamer usual spots so i can put drones quick check and grenade those angles. The beauty of this game is how little intel is really important and helpful you just have to realise and find ways to play with it. After you play around your own death and those intel I have seen improvements every 2 games. While playing with bad people feels good and boost me bad confidence and gives me bad habits which sometime i cannot even realise. The process of learning in this game is satisfying at least for me.
Yeah , i get ya, but i agree with shroud that a game must be fun, its not actually fun to get killed even though you get to learn a bit. Self Learning also is satisfying
wdym? its part of the learning process😂 just because the dude has exp in almost every fps there is he expects to be as good as he is in other games...thats why its frustrating - he has the aim and capability to be good but still gets shredded because its siege
@@Eyepatch13 I agree that everyone must have their own way of having fun and learn the game, but I do not understand what you mean by dying is not part of self-learning, games that shroud played in the past they all are highly punish able: csgo, apex, escape from tarkov.
The only difference is here knowledge can outperform aim.
I would have to disagree with the learning portion as the rank differences are often so lopsided...for example I have never reached pass Platinum in the old ranking system. The new ranking system I am usually stuck in gold...why the do I constantly play emeralds when the rank differences in skill level is far to high for one to effectively learn.
@@bigg.3466 I mean ofc if the jump in rank is too high then the learning proccess is steeper, the only way here is the system giving us emerald players in our team as well, if you are the only plat but everyone is emerald definetly you would see improvement if you keep playing multiple games as such.
The main issue is that some are plat some are diamond some are emerald, while after that game even if you review your gameplay throug vods you have no way of improve because they will send u back to your current rank.
The system ofc doesnt make it easy, but I believe if you had the possibility to play vs better players continuosly for a long period you will improve, while if you don't it just means you reached your limit and your progress is not a constant anymore but a variable.
Shroud being a siege content creator has been like a ‘what if’ in my since I picked up this game in 2016. Amazing

Higher ranks in R6 games are played based on information on the map. When I played ranked, I was assigned to be on the exterior cameras as soon as the enemy spawn so we can see what side the initial attack was coming from. It works.
Average low rank response lol most of us default to spawns that we know peaks of and don’t base it on where we’re pushing. That’s decided while droning and our spawn is irrelevant.
It works. I understand droning, but the site doesn't move, and default pushes are specific. If 3 players or more are on one side of the map, then it gives away the push many times.
Understanding where they spawn us good, so you can focus more utility in that area
bro i usually spawn at one part of map and run on roof or somewhere else dont go directly on that side into the building, ur strats works in bronze

In my opinion, R6 is the ultimate FPS, one of the very best.
Somewhere between 'realism' (it's still a video game) and tactics.
Not like most other FPS where fantasy is almost omnipresent, where you jump around and shoot at anything that moves, without any real thought..

It retains almost entirely skill based gameplay with close to no RNG, despite having a huge emphasis on team play and lots of complexity.
Most other big fps that come to mind (csgo, valorant, overwatch,fortnite) require lots of thought.
@@HairyNunI think the insanely low ttk does induce some rng, more so than in other fps games tbh.
@@nadra0755 I'd say val and csgo are more dependent on map knowledge whereas fortnite and overwatch are more dependent on skill. I think rainbow is largely dependent on both map knowledge as well as mechanical skill (e.g. controlling recoil, utility usage, and destruction).
The pace of this content makes me hype to the good old shroud 2015!
problem with the game is if you want to get high rank you have to have 5. Needs to implement a ranked system like LoL
0:35 castling the windows was a pro strat a while ago, imo it’s not worth castling them all now maybe the first one + the door and proxy top stairs and banana walk up.

Man when he said that you will never play a game like this, I immediately got the chills and all my memories came back of the good times that I spent in this game making precious memories. But then I remember where I am now, no time to slow down and catch my breath. All the people I used to play with have now moved on with their lives and we barely talk. All that's left are those simple, innocent, and priceless memories that I'm glad we made the best of...

Yup.. initial first few weeks this game is the worst but once you know how to play it's one of the best FPS games of all time
yeah when i play this game i allways play quickplay/whatever its name is this days. haven't played ranked in years, i have so much more fun playing this game casual :) I wanna be able to play all the operativs and on all mapps and different modes.
I was so obsessed with siege when it first dropped on console. Seeing all the streamers playing it again made me jump back into it on PC now. I might even start doing some siege videos for my channel. This game really is like no other it's so fun

Whenever I watch pc gameplay it's insane how much easier you can aim and how much more fluid shooting and movement is, I wish I had a pc to play, ive been playing siege on console since the launch of the game, and still average plat if I didn't have a job I could probably do better but that's a grind enough. Just wish I had the movement and aim as pc has

Ive played since year 1 and hate it so much. However I will not stop playing it and it’s fun af. Would never play alone though, you definitely need people to play with.
I've played very very scarcely since release. I'm level 62 now. I started actually playing about a week ago. I hit 50 and went straight to ranked. Been learning the maps still but I'm enjoying siege a lot. It's nice not being the top fragger every game. I can't wait till I learn all the maps and the angles. I'm Gold now, hopefully plat in the next week!
Since I've started with R6 back in 2016 I've rarely played another shooter, everything I liked from before like CoD, BF, CS, SW BF get boring pretty fast, R6 with all those operators, tactics and tweaks over the years feels fresh and new every season.

You got Siege guys like me hoping Shroud makes a run at this.
Siege is unique, but for me as a naturally competitive person it was hard to love when I first started, but when I learnt some things and got invested and watched pros and tier lists and played hours and hours to learn the maps and strats it was a really special experience. I like to think I'm pretty decent at video games and I was terrified that I had finally found a game I wasn't good at. But learning it and loving learning new tricks and tips really made this game one of the great gaming loves of my life.
That said, if you play ranked and you want to hit those top ranks it is so hard that the people in those top brackets may as well be playing a different game. I’ve been in and around DOTA, CS, Valorant and Call of Duty and the top ranks in those games don’t come close to siege’s in terms of difficulty. It’s actually most similar to fortnite in the sense that there’s so much more going on in the game than just having good aim.

Is it a hard game to learn or get into as a new player?
I would say its pretty high terms of difficulty for first person shooters. A lot of big and small mechanics that you have to wrap your head around, but once you do, its very enjoyable in my opinion. Like most FPS's, its infinitely more fun playing with friends, especially as a new player since there wont be as much pressure.
Your statement, is the exact reason i can't put effort in any other competitive game. This game gives you a unique way to play a S&D competitive match, giving you so much free space to operate in(i mean being able to move from a room to a total different hallway opening just 2 holes). this ain't possible on CS or Valorant

This game would not be ass if I didn't get 1 hour cooldown cause the game bugged on the blue screen, and second time I went to take a shit and I guess its not like in csgo you have to reconnect sooner... so got 2 hour cooldown...
they should lower it to what cs have 30 min than 1 hour...
playing normal is good for map learning ranked is learning how to correctly use abilities while getting pressured
Ive played so much R6 over the years nowadays all I get is aggravated and annoyed at the things I don’t like. The past couple years I’ll hop on and play for a couple weeks then get off for a while. I just played most of last season and got back into plat (Ranked 2.0 is bums btw) and I can’t play anymore lol.
I compare my playing habits to Minecraft. I’ll get in a random mood to play, play for a couple weeks, then not play again for like a year.

Since I started playing Siege in 2021 I haven't been able to find a game that gives me the same dopamine hit. There really is nothing quite like it.
I have 3,500 hours on this game and I hate it every time I load it up and play ranked, but damn I can't stop playing it because there is literally nothing else like it!

I honestly think they make changes for pc pro league players and make the changes to consoles as well the recoil changes did not need to be made for console I was plat 1 last season every gun fight I have feels sloppy now and when I do get shot in the head and watch the kill cam 8/10 time it’s luck there all over the place and the stray shot hit my head if that’s what it’s like at plat and emerald I can’t imagine the lower ranks
PC experience sounds so much different to the console experience, I’m a plat player when I play standard I’m against champs every game
there are separate mmrs for standard and ranked (that used to include casual and stuff, not sure anymore). If you play a lot of standard, the tendency is for you to go against better players
Haven't played for like the past 2-3 years. Came back recently as a copper and playing with a friend that peaked Emerald last season. Going against Diamonds but mainly champs quite often.. Ranked 2.0 is a weird ranking system. Really hope they revert the ranked changes but they probably wont.

Siege is my all time favorite multiplayer fps. Never gets old. Never gets boring. Never feels stale. There's always a lot to sink your teeth into, no matter how experienced you are.

On Siege, I would highly suggest to watch your death-cam more often. That way you know exactly where they peak from, and so you know what not to do the next time

I used to play CS, dota and siege ranked all the time and grind. Now that I am older I don't have as much time so I just play unranked. So much better just playing unranked, not caring if i lose or win, just enjoying the game. Before I would be angry at teammates or stuff, now its just lets kill someone if we can, if not, who cares, i dont lose rank.

I'm new to siege, and it's more enjoyable and easier to learn maps playing with players my and my friends' skill level instead of playing against people that unlocked all operators and literally breaching our site in places we don't know where lol. like it's so different, playing against people that know what they're doing in other games like valorant and cs is sort of okay because you can kinda mimic what they're doing because it's easy to digest. but in R6, man we just win 1 game then the next game we're playing against master chief skin operators that's running us down breaking down walls, hatch etc.
