Josh & Gary, I have to go back and listen to the first hour I missed, but I just have to say that the heart you show towards everyone is outstanding! You are providing the format, the “safe place”, the open, honest, yet caring and respectful communication and listening that helps ppl heal! That last call was particularly beautiful 🥹 - as if you cradled that lady in your loving arms, let her let it out, calming her fears and pointing a soft light in the right direction without assuming. Josh, I loved how after you reminded her that there was more work to do you said, ‘but, you need to take time to heal yourself’. Dr. Gary, even tho my religious beliefs are different about the promised hope for dead loved ones, I concur that her daughter would never want her to suffer as she herself had, and believe that our future with resurrected ones is even rosier than we dream. Also, LOVED those poems! Don’t either of you (or Chris) ever change your love and compassion for people. 🥹 It is high on the list of what God looks for in us, and what he himself is, and we all need it so much. As a P.S.: I am tickled to no end by Dr. Gary’s detection of the Irish woman’s accent to a particular area 15:00! One of my favorite characters in movies is Professor Higgins, and you modeled the early scene in which he’s telling Colonel Pickering how he can tell exactly what part of England a man is from. Love it - fascinating. ‘Got a bit of ‘iggins in me myself, I have. I can get on me soapbox about propah English now and again.’ But, I love diversity even more. 😊 And, btw, once I realized in reviewing the last call that you said you loved the Ms. Marple character, that was my favorite that I grew up on. I read all the Agatha Christie books, but Marple’s discernment about ppl intrigued me most. Btw, tho not faithful fully to Christie’s character, you haven’t lived until you see the old Margaret Rutherford series of English movies about Ms. Marple with a comedic twist! 😅 It’s a light version of the gender reversal of the Sherlock Holmes/Dr. Watson pairing that reoccurs in My Fair Lady. You know, the brilliant mind with a simpler mind that so often would spark Holmes to a further realization. Ah, if only I could hear your analysis on that! 😄
