      Yes... But it's amazing at how assertive you can become using their tools and asking probing questions. I've had two people admit to lying to me... One was my spouse who looked like he was a five year old with his hand in the cookie jar after i was like, "You do know ive been watching videos from interrogation specialists, right?" as my final followup question. We both burst out laughing bc we knew he was caught.

    All I can think is ‘I’d hate to do something wrong and get interrogated by these guys’… I think Greg would be the most overtly scary interrogator to face. Scott, Chase and Mark would lull me into a false sense of security and I’d think I was safe, having a nice chat whilst unknowingly giving it all away, Greg’s stoic fixation would unnerve me like no other. You guys inspire me to keep learning, I think your discussions and observations are fascinating ❤

    Here's my thought on the couple with missing kids case - the husband says he noticed that he had " left the gate open". But instead of running right to the open gate and yelling up and down the street, he says he went back inside to check the house again. If I was worried that they had gone out the open gate, I would run out the gate screaming their names !!

    The wonderful paradox about this channel is that you get to see and hear the most vicious, disturbing things while these guys radiate a sense of wholesomeness and charm that makes evil somewhat bearable, sometimes even weirdly light. Yes, yes, yes! When I heard he was arrested, all I could think about was Scott’s comment, “I can’t believe he’s not in the pokey yet!” I had watched this episode a few days prior to the arrest and wondered what the authorities were waiting on since it was so obvious he is guilty. I hope the money from the sale of the house and other monies can be confiscated and redistributed. He should not be allowed to benefit in any way from the killing of his wife. It’s so horribly sad.

      And aside from all the other stuff, the police told you to stay home so they could reach you. They didn’t tell you that you’re not allowed to take coffee to the searchers or thank them or anything else; they didn’t lock you inside your home as they would a prison cell. That’s not the intent behind “stay home so we can reach you.” I can’t imagine staying home and not searching, but if they convinced me to do so then I *really* can’t imagine not offering drinks, snacks, whatever to the people looking for my child!

    I’d like to see an experienced trauma / CTPSD psychologist on the panel, as well, to respond each time the panel says, “If it it were me, I’d (fill in the blank)”. As someone who suffered severe childhood trauma, I still find it difficult to not over explain, find it a challenge to put verbal sentences together coherently, and to show emotion according to how society in general ‘decides’ how people ‘would’ be displaying emotions under certain circumstances. Being told I ‘would ‘ feel this, that or the other thing if I were genuine, makes me withdraw even further. I had to watch a lot of movies to learn how to show emotions (not necessarily’ feel’ them, because I shut off at a very young age) and to learn when these are deemed suitable to show and to what degree. On his channel, Patrick Tehan talks about how and why some people like myself display habits that have nothing to do with guilt, being uncaring, being a ‘monster’, etc. We seem to break all the rules, not fitting other people’s moulds.

      Sandra it's terrifying. I feel for you and all commenter and others who have been frantic in their search to find their beautiful pets.
      Years ago November 1994 my tiny dog was taken from the house I was visiting, when I nipped out. I came back to find him gone. It was dark, pouring with rain, and about 8.45.p.m. I ran outside, it was freezing too. I deducted the person who did this had took him in the opposite direction to where I would walk from. So that meant he was in the direction of a dual carridgeway. I ran and ran shouting his name, and just ran along the oncoming traffic to see my little dog bewildered and disorientated walking aimlessly in the direction of oncoming traffic. I called him shouting stay still. He heard me and I grabbed him up in my arms. I was trembling and feared. And so was he. I never left him on his own after that evening. Ten years later on the 23 Dec in 2004 he was murdered, throttled by a man who snatched him up out of my garden when I turned my back for a couple of minutes. He had grabbed him, throttled him, and thrown him to the ground just up my street yards from my home. He was old and hadn't got much time left so I was staying where I was so he wouldn't get stressed by moving. Then that was done to him by an evil man. The shock of the throttling and impact to the ground caused him to have a massive heart attack, which happened when I got him home and put him on the sofa to get warm. It was all very quick from abduction to his death. I was devastated and cried for days. (I was been stalked and this is one of the evil scenarios that played out on me. I lit a few candles outside where he was last sniffing the grass and the killer of my dog called firebriggade on me. When they came out they couldn't believe there was no fire. And he was walking up to them when they stopped outside mine. He turned away when he saw me talk to them. I don't know who he was, but he did harm my dog) . I ran upstairs to get my boots on to get him off the muddy garden. Because he was a bit stubborn n wouldn't come in when I called him to. That's when he was snatched, seconds really. I took him everywhere with me. He was allowed in cafes restaurants, the library. Woolworths where he had his own special chair just for him. He was loved so much. He was my brave little soldier. So I know your pain of how you feel and all dog owners who love their pets.
      SO any person who shows NOT ONE OUNCE OF EMOTION WHEN THEIR CHILDREN GO MISSING IS HIDING SOMETHING.,
      This day marks the 17th year of my little dogs death, and I still get emotional and she'd tears for him and my sadness. He was so loving. I've had other dogs who also were loving. Im an animal lover. 💜💙❤️🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻

    I don't understand the couple with the missing children. I have a daughter, her name is Lily, if she was missing, I would be screaming, probably have to be sedated, so I don't understand these people at all. I am a mess if one of my dogs run off. How can a mother even talk.. I don't see the desperate panic here, I don' feel the pain you would have in your heart... I don't see it here with these people at all.

    I am neuro divergent and I use these tactics just to try to get a better understanding of how people are recieving me. A question I have been asking a lot recently is, "How are you feeling emotionally?" A lot of people seem like they don't even know how they feel. So the control of their emotions on their face and in their body is completely reactionary. It's all been very helpful for me.

    When I thought my preschool age kid was missing (hiding in a clothes rack) I absolutely freaked out. I screaming his name within minutes of not being able to see him, rushing, frantic. Rushing to the front of the store to make sure nobody could take him out. It was another mother who calmed me enough to think. By that point, he'd been found. To this day, my heartrate goes up when I remember that time. I don't understand being calm when a loved one, especially a child is missing?

    • @cosmicpussy-cat2528
      @cosmicpussy-cat2528 2 года назад +5

      Exactly. I’ve literally lost site of my son for less than 5 minutes and automatically felt like I was about to throw up my actual heart any second, just thinking about it makes my stomach flip, I honestly think id literally die due to the stress and panic wondering how scared my child probably is, what could be happening to them at that very moment, if they’re even alive anymore, if some sick bastard is hurting them while you’re desperately searching, I’ve imagined it many times before and I don’t even know what I would say if having to plead for my child’s life through the media, but I SURE af KNOW I wouldn’t be calm about it. I understand everyone handles stress different but if I’m basically a hysterical mess just picturing it, then I don’t see how an actual loving parent could be anything less than hysterical actually living it.

      Lost my youngest in an amusement park on a bank Holiday. I was hysterical and would have been vomiting if I hadn't been screaming his name and running all over the park. Then I saw him with a security guard and just burst into tears. I'm sure I couldn't do a piece to camera if he hadn't been found.
