Often, an entity from the "astral" are just passed souls. Think about the folks who pass everyday around the world; would you necessarily want communication with them - especially if they are not your own ancestors? No. Often the astral beings, since they don't need to sleep and haven't decided to re-incarnate, or put off their life review for a bit and often even confused, will mess around with us on the earth and negative or concerning messages generally are communicated from them to a medium or a sleeping human. "Higher Frequency" beings are always loving and positive in the messages.
You can feel it. Unlike the belief of religions, low vibrational beings cannot 'pretend' to be high vibrational. It is impossible for them to do so. If you think about that, you will realise the truth in that. It is easier for a person in the body to 'con' people because we are so much in the 5 senses, but when you connect with and use your intuition and feeling, and hold your vibration high, you can feel it. While channeling a higher being, you feel so lovely, and you just know. Whenever I have a lower vibrational being hang around, I feel that also, and it cannot be confused. It is also down to intention. If you have a low intention when you try to channel, you are more likely to attract a lower energy and less likely to feel them, because your energy will match it.
