As soon as I see Dr. Gary anywhere I’m clicking, love you too Josh. Without a doubt my favorite discussion with Dr.Gary and Josh, thank you both! Every perpetrator in the school shootings are practically identical. Loners, bullied, isolates, depression, in to violence online and drawings, basically red flags everywhere that people ignore and then the school shooting.

Josh, you and Dr Gary were a perfect balance for this highly insightful discussion. This was an exceptional program, I think the best I've ever listened to, on any channel. Factual, calm, intelligent discussion, but so sensitive when you shared more of your personal event. I never cry on these but you had me going, again, as I did listening to your episode about your illness and recovery to attend your son's wedding. Thank you both for being willing to try to make a difference.

Gentlemen, may I say this is one of the most wonderful episodes I’ve seen . Im a retired hospice nurse of over 25 years and I have escorted many people into heaven and it was such a joyful job. I loved it. Dr. Gary you are right. There is a true phenomenon where at least 75% of my patients, waited for their loved one to exit the room (or their husband to take a pee ) lol So they could exit.
know it personally because my mother passed away while I was getting four impacted wisdom teeth taken out and I’ve been waiting for a month for the cancer to take its toll.
Then there’s my father. Who died like he lived. 74 years old , played tennis that day , walked a mile to the barbershop , sat down in a barber chair , picked up a Playboy & died. 🙄😂(gripping miss December 1988 !) And, he had a saying “i am going to live till I die !” and he did ! I am sorry for those that suffer and I am honored and humbled to have been with many when they crossed over . So bless you both for such an amazing episode and so needed in these times.
God is good and you gentlemen are helping so many Thank you

I think it's very beautiful what you are talking about. I'm reminded of my father, who died of cancer in Slian Kettering. I was 18. He was rmatiated from chemo. I have always wondered what he thought gazing up at me. A tears rolled down his cheeks. After listening to you talk about death, he did not want me to see him die. He passed away that evening. I feel very sad now. Anguish. More than that. Words can't express. Life is seen through tears. This was 1979. I haven't thought about that day in a long time. I hope that when it is my turn to die, I do not look up and see my kids, watching me, withering away. Geez, I still mourn, having put my dog to sleep. When my best friend died of covid, I fell to my knees with sorrow. The sorrow of losing loved ones is painful, let alone if someone is taken and assaulted. I don't know if I could forgive. I just don't know.

Dr. G's description of books is so me. When I was a kid I made fake library cards for all my books. And when I was in high school I would buy old books from the 1800s in bulk. My favorite thing was finding old newspaper clippings in them. I still tuck little tidbits in books I have now for people after me.

I watched Dr. Michael Stone's series until it became too distressing for me to proceed. I would hope that my little ol' opinion wouldn't deter anyone from viewing or reading any of his work as it is amazing and would it be fair to say Dr Brucato's predecessor? Very much not a popular opinion but having been on the planet since the 60’s, I’ve seen a striking correlation between the reduction in spiritual faith and the increase in criminality. I’ve seen the same correlation between the demonising of discipline and the disappearance of just about any self-governance. In the explosive cake that society and social media is busy mixing, the overwhelming lack of self control or restraint are ingredients that will serve to ignite it. In my opinion, obviously.

👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 for the fictional psychopaths podcast. One suggestion for you: the character Lorn Malvo from Fargo season 1 (Played by Billy Bob Thornton). There's something that happens towards the middle of the season that cemented with me that this dude (as far as Hollywood goes) is a well written psychopath. It would also be cool to contrast his character with Martin Freeman's character, Lester Nygaard (who I'm not sure if he's a psychopath or not, but is a horrible person nonetheless😂).

@@drgaryb13 hi Dr. Brucato!! My question is that given genealogical DNA, many cases that are decades old are being solved. Many, particularly sexually driven, seem to be “one-and-done” because the alleged or admitted killer has no prior record and/or has lived an exemplary life. Aka the best dad, grandfather, parent, whatever. Is it possible that while the data says that murderers statistically not one-off instances, that there may be a significant segment of cases where yes- one and done. Bc they were scared to death after they lived out the fantasy of getting caught? Like Richard Allen/ Delphi- if he is guilty. Other examples are out there… i.e. are our stats skewed and there are really more onesie twosies historically, some at a later age than the stats say is the norm, than we ever imagined that are not obvious who dunnit cases?
Long question but a question! TY! Would love a podcast from you on this topic. Sincerely, a big ol’ fan, Nancy.

@@trishie818 The true meaning of Christmas- God sending his son Jesus to the world to promote love, peace and joy. An AR-15, on the other hand, is a weapon of war- designed to kill multiple people at the same time. Love versus hate. Peace versus war. Joy versus desperation. Does that make sense Trish?

@@drgaryb13 Dr. Gary I always love your analyses & discussions… maybe I spoke too soon when watching the replay. The Christmas analogy was just super deep and a little dark for me at first, I should’ve waited - because you seemed to round it out pretty well, after all. 🙌🙌👍🏻

I don't think sex crimes were reported over 100 yrs ago or even 50 years. Crimes against women have historically not been reported or even investigated. Socially women don't seem to count, but if you commit a crime against men especially white men you'll have hell to pay. Is that figured into the percentages of such crimes? I agree that these crimes are horrible but so were medieval times, how can we accurately measure this? Just asking? It's fascinating to have this all explained so understandably. Thank you

@DrGaryBrucato @TheLab @TheInterviewRoom has anyone figured out what trash removal service was on Ben Hill Rd where Summer Wells lived? Did they put the barrels at the bottom of the driveway/shed? That’s why Don went there first?! Please tell me someone has looked into that. Watching the Quinton Simon case made me realize, this is a trend.
