Ariana Grande - Positions ( Bass Cover )

This album just dropped recently and i'd be lying if i said i wasn't bopping it all the time. My music selections on here are pretty eclectic but this isn't what i usually do so i was a little apprehensive of posting something like this. But i really enjoy playing this style of music so let me know what you think! The bass in this song is just pad synth im pretty sure so i spiced it up a bit by copying the string section and playing around in D dorian.

Really like what you did with the song and played to perfection. Took it in a completely different but equally awesome direction to my bass cover of the song! When the first chorus hit I was so digging some of those spicy notes. All with a plaster/bandaid on!

What model is that bass guitar?

So it’s not really any model, it’s kind of a Frankenbass haha. It’s an American Fender Precision neck and an American Fender Jazz body that used to be a sun burst but I refinished it myself to that khaki color and slapped that pick guard on. I left a little bit of that sunburst on underneath tho so as the khaki starts slowly wearing down over time you’ll see it peaking through and it’ll look really cool :)
