Keith Wilson is a great guy. I met him in the mid 90s when he consulted on the engines for the ProStock team I was a crewmember on. He's one of the rare individuals who made the transition from the blacksmith shop (no disrespect) methods of the early days to utilizing and embracing the latest technology while keeping the same old school work ethic.
I go so far back, I watched Tim Hogan figure out to use his Flow Bench at night, while he was porting heads during the day for Mullins… I also knew Mark Knonquist (sp?) when he was the assistant engine builder at Bahari … long before he went to JGR
I liked this talk. By the way I went to school with a guy named Bill Dingman in Brecksville Ohio ,,,, and another guy I knew worked with Ron Hutter.. nice conversation guys
Keith is a wizard. And he is correct, there is a lot of power in the details. Lots of people are lazy, they want to bolt on 20 hp instead of 4 items that make 5 hp. Like converters, nobody wants to take a converter in and out, and there is et in the right converter.
I don't mind swapping converters in the car, I LIKE the experimentation aspect of it, and learing from the results. I just DON'T like paying for all the expensive fuggers.... Provide a pile of converters to me, and I'll try ALL of them, and report back.. 🤷🏻
This is a great show, with guests teaching us, on otherwise unavailable information. Thankfully Lake Speed Jr., wasn't there with his constant interruption of guests, that are there to tell us THEIR story. I'm sure Jr. is knowledgeable, but his constant animated interruptions are a pain in the seat.

That would be AWESOME if they would make a ITB setup for the LS and Hemi that is reasonably priced!!
That would be great!
I always thought that Keith learned from and worked for Joe Petelle of High Velocity Heads back in the day.
100% Agree. Every rule that is put in to lower cost did the exact opposite.
