Lake Speed...laughing jackass. 🙄

So my question is when Cale flipped and the crew wanted to go to happy hour rather than fix the car, did they become unemployed when they returned home ?
Jason is a great guy. I talked with him a at the track, and he gives straight answers to questions. His partner Dan is a smart racer as well.
Fireball Roberts was my favorite driver when I was a little kid. My brother built a model of his 64 Mercury.
This was filmed 2 years ago
Coming in august? Time to switch to messenger pigeon for upload services. Homestyle sound affects are approved - just means real work was done noting a step change in frequency.
billly do you still work for comp cams
18:00 The first thing I did when I got my new Comp cam and springs was to take them out and handle them :(
Joe, 1080 HD or better! And, the "The Surface Texture Answer Book" is an excellent book. 🏁[Note: this video is 3 years old]
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,automotive engine information junkies are my kind of passionate people,,,,,,At 73,,I have been in this school all my life since 1965 ; when I saw and bought my first Car Craft magazine,,,,read it cover to cover [ did not understand half the new words ] , yet , I knew , the more i would read into the future , things would unfold in explanations.....books are my way of life,,,,When Lake held up that book about surface texture,,,,,,wow,,,,,gonna get it........Thanks Joe for WFO....
Hey great video! I have a Blueprint Engine 598 that has the Morel Street Hydraulic Lifters and they are extremely loud at warm and even after it is warmed up. I tried to adjust them and went from 3/4 to 1 full turn and it did not make any difference sad to say. I am using VR1 10W30 and I even tried Driven oil 40 and it didn't make a difference. I tried the Driven 15W50 for about 50 miles and again no difference. I then tried the VR1 20w50 and it made a huge difference once it warmed up only. Unfortunately I have to go back to the VR1 10W30 because of my main bearing clearance of .0020 to .0025 my engine only has 4,000 miles on it and I have so many people coming up to me at car shows saying boy your valve train is very loud! I just don't know what to do? Do you have any advice? Thanks
They pay for their decals when you win. Good people.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,What balance factor [ percent ] did you use when balancing that big S & S eng,,,,,,50 55,,,60,,,,,70,,,,,,?
,,,,,,Did Billy enter a cam in Eric Weingartners cam shootout ?
Didn't see his name. Could have been a silent entry.
No.
Very possibly a former student did.
Brian didn't to too well in the Cam Challenge..Not the King sorry.
He did not test 20 different camshafts nor grind half the entries like the winner did. The cam challenge was a joke because the last place cam would have produced the quicker et slip in the real world in a 3500 pound car.
What does the H-D motor sound like with a shortened stroke. I'd love to have a 10,000 RPM Sportster motor.
Georges actual youtube channel ruclips.net/video/01f9PQ5VN_0/видео.html
Smokey Yunick always said do with the Biggest Bore and shortest stroke you can run.
The Antique Tractor pullers use Airplane pistons ..
The janitor at Vance & Hines probably knows more.🙄
George is a legend
Great info
Miss George in The NHRA.
Most switch to v twins because of the huge cubic inch advantage
Thinking Lake finally found someone to match his tempo with George…
Can everyone learn something here ? Yes v8 guy’s!Sir !
Just like pulling engineers from college! Some of them never drove a car, truck, tractor, lawnmower! But they try to design stuff! That’s where we see, this is the same problem we had 40yrs ago! WTF are they doing? They never seem to go back & look at the history 🙄🙄🙄🙄! George Bryce is an encyclopedia of race knowledge! I’m surprised that no one has snatched him up! Even though is retired!
Great video guys, thank you. Dale Walker
Jon myers was a Super nice guy that i knew from racing at Orlando Speed World in the 80s.He helped me with some "different " machine work on my Suzuki. Good times remembering him with his wife and daughter at the track back then. Thanks.
George is a Tennessee boy now.. Great to have him here and sharing all the knowledge he has.
Years ago, I worked on a project with George and S&S for Wyotech. George is a character! He's the easy going kind of guy you could talk to for hours.
Appreciate 🌎 your Experience Thank you * life l0ng Dedication Two wheel Engineering. Hands 0n. Onehundreadpersent legendary
Make some cast iron, street performance FE heads!
I have been researching lobe separation for many years & have found that anything over 112° is recommended for high compression or boost applications & have have seen dyno results proving it, regardless of engine make. Sure you can make a few more hp at the top end, but thats not the whole picture. The top end gain comes at a loss of torque accross the board. There are companies that have been in buisness much, much longer than this recent pop-up that magically became an overnight success. Trucks are a pupular here. Just ask yourself if your truck is a strip car or a torque machine?
When will brian tooley make lifters or do they just recomend johnson hydraulic lifters as good enough for builds
what is nhra plan now that camaro and challenger are gone? feel for factory x guys that spent $$$ on cars that are literally x factory made. im guessing Mopar be gone soon too Stelantis is dying.
met Mark back in dart days troy Mi 90s . Super nice guys awesome equipment but driving was always late. He left as Butner and Maskin werent on same page.... in came yates and titles followed. Richard Maskin was a real legend in engine building and business
Here's a hidden horsepower(s) for you, a certain popular pro stock driver, might be a fem, might be a male, injected frontloaded micro amounts of nitro into their 'hidden' horsepower machine, which we later learned could not be detected by NHRA teardown officials . How's that? Didn't hear anyone mention that on the podcast.
11 minutes in and I’m hooked!
I would say that the rule book was changed because of WJ The 4.900 bore spacing was one There was no bore spacing rule in the 80s
If he says “ yup, ya know” one more time😂😂😂
I know Jay! raced with him for a few years. Nice guy.
Mike came up to me at the US Nationals and introduced himself because we had a competition engineering sticker on our car. Told me how he started the company. Really nice guy.
Mark Pawuk ? He has a very wealthy dad to finance his racing
nothing wrong with working hard to make awesome living and spend it on drag racing... Jenkins was bank rolled by manufactures as was WJ, Sox Martin.....list goes on and on....
Jason, I am a lifetime FE guy and Bill Fiest and his Mustang is a really great. The bump in class is unbelievable. I am old and not rich enough. But I love that old stuff. That car 45 years and still going strong.,FE stuff is dropping like flies as castings go. It’s definitely disappointing.,
The FE they do for Wild Bill Fiests Mustang was 8100 through the lights. Amazing for 1950s Boat Anchor that was amazing. Revan Evan does a piece on it and it’s astounding!
Thank you for your knowledge and videos USA TRUMP
I'm thoroughly enjoying my BTR stage 3 in my Silverado. Installing that cam taught me the world of LS engines and how to tune my truck. I haven't been the same ever since because of Mr Tooley. I'm learning everything I can to become a better tuner and maybe run with it one day
i got the Truck Norris in my 04 chevy 2wd truck with 3000 stall low end sucks 3500 up in rpm its great.thinking on a stage 4 now
I put all btr in dod deletes and my own stuff to
