From Spain. Thank you for reacting to this magnificent versión of the Phantom by our beloved Camilo. Unjustly he was never allowed the rights to release either the spanish version recording or complete the spanish stage show. It was a shock and professional disappointment to him and to all his fans. Andrew Lloyd Webber's company refused him the rights... even though In 1975 his spanish versión of Jesús Christ Superstar which he translated, produced and starred in was acclaimed as the best versión since the original. Camilo will never be forgotten by his millions of fans in Spain and around the world. His voice filled our hearts and ears from his beginnings as a sólo singer in the early 1970s until his death in 2019. But his music goes on. He is loved and remembered every day.
