The dance scene pretty much tells their relationship arc. Ellie convinced Dina could never want her, Dina just as enthralled with Ellie as Ellie is with her. If you watch closely, from the second Ellie is within arms reach Dina touches her and never lets go until Ellie charges Seth. The moment their connection is broken is because Ellie chose to pull away from Dina to run towards a fight.

Of course the characters do feel fleshed out and it sometimes is just a display of humanity that really is organic and amazing, but that's just it. It really is nothing else. Where it is different, I feel like it's only a display of a very niche sort of human nature that fails to be too relevant, whereas the first game did get me thinking a little bit more. Again some moments are obviously pretty neat with how characters interact with each other, and it unfolds nicely and feels like humans interacting with each other, but that's all it is: humans interacting with each other. It fails to be anything else. There's just a lack of things at stake and not much meaning to actions with stuff like Jesse and Dina tagging along, and of course it can be a demonstration of friendship and whatnot but it's just not in focus, and really doesn't say much. Anyways that's the end of my rant. Sorry haha

Never realized this but end of game Tommy is basically what ellie would eventually become, remember his relationship with Maria is rocky and he seems cynical and not caring anymore, and also damaged physically. Ellie same deal, her relationship with dina was good but after going after Abby she also loses her and her fingers. Revenge never gave them anything, it was a fools game. They lost what they cared for in the end. Ellie
I wondered if Ellie just tells every girl she hooks up with that she is immune until I realized that by the time they have sex in the library, Ellie already has Joel's approval to be in a relationship with Dina (as a matter of fact, Ellie having a committed relationship with Dina is kinda Joel's idea) which is why she tells Dina something only her family (Joel, Tommy and Maria) knows. So at some point while they were making love and then holding hands in the after glow, Ellie decides to make that girl family too, and telling her about her immunity is the closest thing Dina gets to a wedding ring. 😍
Been following my boy's Jekavac work and channel since day 1...his progress is worth every respect!Keep it up,I am SURE that one day all your hard work will be recognized by the whole world!Much, much love from your brother!
Dina is my favorite character in TLOU universe. I think Naughty Dog really scored with her, I love her so much, and I love Ellie with her. She’s at her best when she’s with Dina as a character even at the bitter end. She’s so pretty too.
I really wanna see more mo-cap footage from this game xx like esp the comforting scene between Ellie and Dina after she kills Nora xx and also I’d love to see the mo cap footage of any Ellie and Abby scenes xx just to see the dynamic between the characters and the actors performances knowing how close they are in real life xxx
I really like Dina and Ellie's chemistry together! They are spot on with each other and they obviously feel the same way about each other too. Like they both love each other and Dina has been there for Ellie throughout the whole relationship. The minute that Dina chose to stay behind at the farm was when Ellie chose to get revenge on Abby at the end of the game. She pretty much left Ellie and went back to Jackson after that happened. It made me feel sad when Ellie and Dina broke up too.
They did a very good job in the first dance cutscene, they put everyone else in brown and faded blue and such colored clothes except Dina who pops out with that red shirt
Cristian Faiella it’s because her body build (muscles in particular) looks very unnatural, along with us having to play as Abby for 10 hours after she kills joel? Nobody wants to play as her and nobody feels much sympathy for her. If they did flashbacks of Abby throughout the game instead of just slapping 10 hours of her gameplay in ur face people would’ve liked it more. Also she damaged people wayyy more then they damaged her
The fact that the dance isn’t even in the actual game is such a travesty. It really sets the tone for the game, especially the relationship between Joel and Ellie
it is in the game, after tommy visits them and ellie wakes up in the middle of the night, you have to close the windows, when she closes one she knocks down the guitar, and when she plays it, it cuts to the dance scene❤
The dance scene pretty much tells their relationship arc. Ellie convinced Dina could never want her, Dina just as enthralled with Ellie as Ellie is with her.
Sorry haha
Ellie and Dina's relationship is really very adorable :"3
Ellie and Dinas relationship is the one redeeming factor to this game
this game is fucking amazing and this is only one factor so.
The game is a fucking masterpiece
Seth had so much AUDACITY to be homophobic.. LIKE SIR, WE’RE IN THE GODDAMN APOCALYPSE!!!
Have you seen how riled people get over someone who’s lgbt? They could be corned in a room full of zombies and they would still throw temper tantrums over the community
I couldn't stop watching this. They have such an enthralling arc. Their chemistry feels so real!
"I don't want to lose you" oh Ellie...
10:58
"Oh, you want a bitemark?"
"Uh-whaa..." I love how flustered Ellie sounds in this 😂
Never ceases to amaze me the hate this game got.
Absolutely a masterpiece.
YEAH
I was smiling until i read your comment
Your idiotic comments never cease to amaze people
Awful game
@@harold3165it’s one if the best PS4 games ngl
8:59 Dina at that moment really wanted to kiss Ellie
Why is this so cute??
Ellie had love, family DAMN even a baby all Joel wanted for her she had the dreaming life but she leave's it all behind for revenge
When Ellie left I said to my self this was not Joel wanted.and by the end of the game it turned out I was right
What an emotional experience this game brought to us❤️
Never realized this but end of game Tommy is basically what ellie would eventually become, remember his relationship with Maria is rocky and he seems cynical and not caring anymore, and also damaged physically.
Ellie same deal, her relationship with dina was good but after going after Abby she also loses her and her fingers.
Revenge never gave them anything, it was a fools game. They lost what they cared for in the end.
Ellie
Ellie - I'm just a girl not a threat.
Me Who has played the game two times - you wanna fucking bet 💀
Is no one going to talk about how dina effortlessly opened the lighter and lit it is one fail swoop??
It takes practice.
"I hate this kid so much."
"Wanna f*** him up?"
*pause*
"Yeah."
ICONIC
I really want them to be together again
I wondered if Ellie just tells every girl she hooks up with that she is immune until I realized that by the time they have sex in the library, Ellie already has Joel's approval to be in a relationship with Dina (as a matter of fact, Ellie having a committed relationship with Dina is kinda Joel's idea) which is why she tells Dina something only her family (Joel, Tommy and Maria) knows.
So at some point while they were making love and then holding hands in the after glow, Ellie decides to make that girl family too, and telling her about her immunity is the closest thing Dina gets to a wedding ring. 😍
Omg the way Ellie through away the cigarette before kissing gives me goosebumps every time
I cant even remember how many times I've watched this I love them sm
too many times, part of my nightly ritual😍
They're madly in love with each other quite visible
this franchise made my cry, these games are so special
The graphics will always be insane its so realistic bro😭
God this game is so real,
even better than real life!
There's no real life duh 🙄
6:33 best line ever
love how the fun scene is the most watched part
Been following my boy's Jekavac work and channel since day 1...his progress is worth every respect!Keep it up,I am SURE that one day all your hard work will be recognized by the whole world!Much, much love from your brother!
Not adding the part were Dina didn't hesitated in trying to take her mask off when Ellie's broke is a Sin
And Ellie singing Take on Me for Dina while she watches her with so much love.
their tension is so fucking immaculate my god
the best romance scene in a video game
*Just loved the part **9:00** their voice is getting calm while music getting intense. Lovely!!*
Dina is my favorite character in TLOU universe. I think Naughty Dog really scored with her, I love her so much, and I love Ellie with her. She’s at her best when she’s with Dina as a character even at the bitter end. She’s so pretty too.
I'm replying it again on Survivor+. I missed this two. I can't wait to see what happens to them. Still a little depressed over her leaving 😭
Ellie: what the f is wrong with you
Dina: at least i got it opened😎
Ellie wanted nothing to do with Joel yet he was ready in an instant to unleash scorched earth on Seth for her.
Hi again oh and btw I still love this channel
Hey quick question when is your next upload I can’t wait
Ok great thanks
I like your the last of us play through
I really wanna see more mo-cap footage from this game xx like esp the comforting scene between Ellie and Dina after she kills Nora xx and also I’d love to see the mo cap footage of any Ellie and Abby scenes xx just to see the dynamic between the characters and the actors performances knowing how close they are in real life xxx
I dunno i keep watching this its just making me hurt.
It made me feel sad when Ellie and Dina broke up too.
they were truly meant for each other :((
I love the part when she goes “you wanna f him up”
Why is it so fucking cute
They did a very good job in the first dance cutscene, they put everyone else in brown and faded blue and such colored clothes except Dina who pops out with that red shirt
I am so simping for Ellie, she is super fine
Every sentence they say has the F word 😂
Yes🤣🤣
Not in the snowball scene
@@badmonkey222 yeah Dina says “you wanna fuck him up?” 😂
Best game in 2020. Nice gameplay new friend here.
Yeah I love this game ❤️❤️
Hi
Jekavac TV not the part with joel though
Unless your a psycho
@@cheesy5651 I liked her character. Still don't know why people are so mad about her. She had her reasons to do what she did
Cristian Faiella it’s because her body build (muscles in particular) looks very unnatural, along with us having to play as Abby for 10 hours after she kills joel? Nobody wants to play as her and nobody feels much sympathy for her. If they did flashbacks of Abby throughout the game instead of just slapping 10 hours of her gameplay in ur face people would’ve liked it more. Also she damaged people wayyy more then they damaged her
The intense eye contact at 9 : 07 my anxiety could never
When Jesse went "Are you kidding me" I balled my eyes out
beautifully done game the romance is complete magic in crazy times
The whole time..when Joel stood up for her…her response was to his decision to keep her Alive and not cure humanity.
Grasshopper: "Should I always repay injury with kindness?"
Master Po: "Repay injury with justice and forgiveness - but kindness, always with kindness.
The fact that the dance isn’t even in the actual game is such a travesty. It really sets the tone for the game, especially the relationship between Joel and Ellie
It's in the game, but toward the end.
it is in the game, after tommy visits them and ellie wakes up in the middle of the night, you have to close the windows, when she closes one she knocks down the guitar, and when she plays it, it cuts to the dance scene❤
The way she comforted Ellie not knowing what was going on just that she was upset was so sweet
