      @@begumnazcakir It rrally depends. If your body weight for your height is average and you want to slim down it is harder than for example being obese and losing weight. When u are obese you can lose a lot more weight without it being unhealthy.

    It took me some trial and error but i finally figured out that portion control is best for me. I like the feeling of eating what i want when i want. One thing that's helped me eat less easily is only eating when im hungry and stopping when im full/satisfied. Im eating a lot less than before and not feeling deprived!

    One thing that has helped me is keeping snacks in my trunk. This works because I don’t use my trunk often and I’m quite forgetful. When I crave something sweet in the middle of the night I will ask my husband to get me one snack and it’s works for me, instead of keeping them in the house for easy access.
    The other one is keeping protein bars or granola bars in my front compartment. I’m often on the go and in a rush so I have one before going in the store.
    Thank you for your tips, they have been very helpful.

    Cutting carbs is great depending on the situation. If you are a binge eater you should definitely work on cutting out carbs because you will most likely get diabetes whether it’s in 5 years or in 30 years. Seen it happen to too many of my family members who swore up-and-down that they would never get diabetes. Keto is definitely sustainable nowadays because there is such a huge diabetes epidemic that most grocery stores will carry keto alternatives like keto ice cream, keto bread, keto tortillas, Monk fruit sweetener, almond flour, coconut flour etc. It’s more about learning how to cook with those ingredients. That brings me to my next point, if you think you’re a binge eater you should really consult your doctor. Binge eating is absolutely a eating disorder and it is absolutely a medical situation. There are lots of resources that can help you out. Consult your doctor, I believe in North America the only binge eating medication approved by the FDA is Vyvanse but there are other alternatives like phentermine.

    • @animehubrecapped
      @animehubrecapped Год назад

      I personally think totally staying away from carbs can make you binge on them later. Why not do a high-protein diet and have 2 to 3 days a week where you introduce a high-carb dish

    • @ashlaraque4135
      @ashlaraque4135 Год назад

      @@animehubrecapped it really depends on the situation to be quite honest with you. If you are serious about eating a low carb diet and you learn replacement recipes then you’re fine. Keto is low carb moderate to high protein and high fat. I don’t have a problem being low carb because I’m still able to eat things like low-carb cheesecake which is made with almond flour and butter for the crust and a cheesecake filling that has lots of eggs and Monk fruit sweetener instead of sugar. The list goes on when it comes to ketogenic desserts and snacks that can replace traditionally high carb/high sugar Foods. However I do agree that being low carb and low fat is incredibly difficult because it’s going to be hard to find replacement snacks and meals. Binging is a disordered way of eating. Anyone who binges should really consult their doctor because that is more mental than anything. I have a BED and even eating on a low-carb diet I would still eat a ridiculous amount of calories cause I wasn’t able to control my binge eating. I had to go on a medication called Vyvanse which is honestly a godsent and stops me from binge eating.
