- Today I'm working on my Husqvarna Z246 zero turn I got for free, and trying to get the governor to work properly. Adjusting throttle linkages and governors has never been my area of expertise, so today you get to come along and learn with me as I go!
Welcome to Garage Story!
I'm in the business of hunting up old lawn mowers and other small machines, and either parting them out, or fixing them up and selling them for profit. Come along for the ride with my weekly vlogs, and how-to videos.

You never give up on repairs .Trying something different sometimes works . Good job
Thanks!
The end of the throttle cable is a z bend glad you are going to be able to get the engine fixed and running right again
I’m not there yet, but hopefully will be!
They make a tool for the throttle cable to rebend them its called a Z bender you need one.
Cool! I did not know that, but it makes sense.
I'm looking for part for my cub cadet zero turn needing left side hydro
The only Cub Cadet zero turn hydro’s I have are pretty old.
Isn’t that a wind vane governor?
No, it’s for the choke I believe. There is an internal governor that I checked in another video. I still haven’t gotten it running right, though….
@@garagestory it’s those crappy carbs. I’m installing one today. $35 on Amazon.
