For anyone who ever saw my mom perform live, only you could know how truly talented she was. She could make you feel like you were the one she was singing to and she could make the toughest soldier cry. I remember being aboit 6 years old and crying when she sang. That's how powerful she was. She was so moving...

Wow - what a great picture of Cathy. I've loved this 45 for over 25 years when I first heard it a Northern Soul club in the UK. I've owned the 45 twice in those 25 years. It commands a price of around £300 in the UK. It is pretty rare. Above all, what I like about this gem is the message that is scratched in the dead wax. It simply says "please don't draft me". I wonder if he made it back? I wonder if Cathy ever knew? Don't count on tomorrow - sublime or what! - Stuart Raith UK.

Wow there are a few good singers that could've been huge and gone placres but they are very few that jnust fvell a bit short. Cathy was among those few and my god what a voice she had. Love to hear more of her stuff.
