Hope those passengers were ok , it bad to have a breakdown but on a motorway with no hard shoulder or cant reach one it must be scary. Stay safe mate , have a good weekend
Yes Shaun, I've been broken down on a motorway with a hard shoulder and that was scary enough, and that was years ago and not with todays traffic levels.
I would strongly recommend that everybody reads your description before watching. Excellent vid to post, Cloud. The "Red X" scenario - or the lack thereof - was recently a feature on #AshleyNeal and it was a real eye opener. Thanks for posting, mate.
@@5762dgThank you for the additional information. I couldn't remember who it was that had prompted Ash to cover the subject. It went up on his Community page a few days prior to his own upload and made for some scary viewing. Thanks again for your input - much appreciated 👍
@@grahamnutt8958 Highways have changed their stance on this and are no longer obliged to put a lane closure in place for both parties to safely rejoin the motorway.
@@5762dgHighways will end up with unnecessary & avoidable ☠️☠️☠️ on their hands before long, mate. Again; thanks for the extra input. Their "stance" almost beggars belief 😮😮😮
I think it's also a prosecutable offence to drive in a closed lane too so there could be plenty of summonses in the post for drivers ignoring the signs.
We have similar signage here. With a breakdown in lane 2, the red X will be lit up for both lanes 1 & 2, with a notification & speed reduction signs flashing, until well after the breakdown. It's a no brainer for most of us. The clowns flying down lane 1 can't see signs closer to eye level or on the road surface. They'll never see them up there! 🤣🤣
@@cloudmaker Correct. 👍🏼 Not only not looking for overhead signs & traffic ahead, also not looking at road signs, markings, red lights, stop signs... 🤣🤣
You do right but don't think it has much effect on the sort of driver that ignores the Red X in the first place. Usually the selfish self entitled ones!
Thanks for sharing!
Cheers, fella 👍
Thanks for commenting Tuga.
Great set of clips as always! 2:18 death wish 💀
Stay safe everyone

If it isn't it certainly should be Das.

Most clowns aren't looking anyway Kevin.👍

You wont believe how much it annoys me when people disobey the red X. If I can I won hesitate to beep my horn at them for it too.

If everyone did what they are ,by law , supposed to do🤬🤬🤬
Too many don't of course then when one does it wrong the road is filled with sheep it seems. All the best Malcolm.
