As of late July 2023, in Virginia, a bottle of Glenmorangie, The Original 18-Year Scotch costs $140.
The best whisky channel ever. I am from India and its you fellows only taught me the how to taste whisky and how to drink it. I now prefer only single malts or bourbon.

I bought this one last week from Costco at a very good rate, haven't tried it yet, that is my plan for this weekend at the lake with some firepit. Thanks for the review as usual, greeting from Australia.
It cost me $130 in New Zealand from an online shop but the bottle store has it at $165, haven't tried it yet as it's in the post and due to arrive this morning.

I honestly preferred the 18, the Signet was lovely but a wee bit wacky and kinda overrated imo...If someone served me both and asked which I would like to have another of, I'd pick the 18. It's just super smooth, silky, sweet, delicate and an utter joy to continuously sip on. I guess if you're feeling more philosophical and wanting to focus on complexity then Signet is the way to go, but if you just want to relax with a movie with some good food and a great fuckin whisky to heighten everything then 18 all the way.
Interesting how they keep on creating new whiskeys.... wish they had a single barrel 12 and 15 to go with the 10.

The "new" Quinta Ruban 14 (used to be 12) is magnificent! If you can get it for $70-ish USD, do so. You'll not be disappointed. It's become one of my "go to" drams.
No the old quinta ruban 12 years was way better then the 14 years old I have them both
It’s a decently complex and smooth scotch. I just bought a bottle this afternoon. I would say it’s better than the glenlivet 18 I had recently.
Glenlivet 15 is really nice

I went looking for Signet at my local store and saw this locked behind the glass shelf and was about to buy it but then I saw the nectar d'or 12 which I had just seen the reviewed the day before. I decided to get it based on the review and boy am I glad I did. I guess the 18 can wait a week.

Aroma is kind of dark and closed, so I think only very experienced/expert whisky drinker can appreciate it. I found it underwhelming. You can spend your money better, I guess I am not a fan of Glenmorangie.
Have you tried the signet? It may change your mind.
