Horst always pours himself more. Such a badass
well he poured Ben more this time I think :D
he takes his time though
It's now a 19 year Dalmore after the length of time it spent in Ben's mouth 😂
Hahaha. Love it. “It has such a strong taste...”. Well no shit man!! When you swish it around for 2 minutes like its a freaking mouth wash any bourbon will eventually just dull the taste buds.
LMAO
1 year finishing in Ben's Cask
No need! Made me cringe the sound they were
Making! unnecessary!!!
Best comment xddd
"Magnetic thingy layer" what a description by an aerospace engineer
.......remind me not to let him near my Learjet. ;)
Wonderful, the concentrated slightly bitter orange taste is remarkable. A great whisky, what magic those Scots make
I tried this one in Scotland and I loved it.
Ben is growing on me - mostly when he's WITH his Dad...but nothing beats a good review and discussion from Horst :-)
I would love to taste this one ...
You guys are so lucky, the dalmore 18 yo cost around $281 in my country. And Most of the spirit liquors are 2 or 3 times more expensive in here.
@@birdy1670 around $417 lol. Just visited the store yesterday.
I bought this bottle a couple years ago from the UK for $90.. In my store it sells for $230..
I find this bottle to be a bit underwhelming. For the casks and age, its not really that complex for me. I would certainly not pay more than $90.. Great review
Really, you must be living in a fantasy world if you think you can by an 18 Year Old single malt for $90 in today's market. The Dalmore 18 is 43% ABV, and most in the line is 40% And the 18 Year Old has gotten a bit scarce. The Whisky Exchange doesn't have it and hasn't had it for a while. The 15 year Old at 40% will set you back $140 including shipping. I personally don't care about your impressions of the Dalmore 18. What struck me about your comment was the absurd $90. If that is your price scale then you probably won't be buying any 18 year old whisky for the foreseeable future. No problem, that leaves more for me.
@@CrazyAboutVinylRecords Whatever you say pal.
@@keithpetersen560 Thanks. And do let us all know when you buy that 18 year old single malt for $90 and where you bought it...pal.
Let us not forget that the bottle shows a lot of artificially colored whisky! Dalmore, synonymous with being watered down and artificially colored.
So obviously colored even from how far back the camera is. I wouldn’t pass on it because of that, but very disingenuous
Dalmore 18 is a special one to most people. I only like aged statement whiskies.
I have a dalmore 18 year old millennium release custodians. Is it possible to review one of these on your channel.
It was on sale Dalmore 18 for $150 I took the last 2 bottles, omg delicious
Gustavo Ortega Hi may I ask how you can afford to spend 300$ on whiskey do you own a business or are you a doctor or something is whiskey a passion of yours

I have a bar of my own, I'am a huge fan of Dalmore. Scotch, wine, rum and cognac are a hobby for me.
@@haraldbaldr3569 its call having a job... the way you love sneakers thats the way others love whisky. if you take $150 from your pay cheque in a month it will not kill you
I discovered little particles in my sealed Dalmore 18 years whisky, is that normal?
First time I’ve noticed Ben leading with the tasting notes. Good review but still over priced.
Gotta get me some of that sigh-trus fruit!
Dalmore 18 or KA III? Which is better or are they similar?
18
I go for the 18YO, the best dram !
Dalmore 15 vs 18 video plz.. which one is value for money
15y is flavour bomb. BEST WHISKY
18 anos ganha disparado!!
Great video!
This or the highland park 18?
Depends on your taste, you can't really compare them. Highland Park 18 years is smoky without a sherry finish. Dalmore 18 years, on the other hand, is matured in different types of casks, such as ex-Bourbon and Metusalem sherry casks, and has no smokiness.
Thanks for the reply!
Horst Lüning
your notes sound more like you are drinking a good rum!
every body's drunk now.
Waffle waffle waffle, get it supped
First comment wooooo
Dalmore is over packaged, too much artificial colour, too much chill filtration and way too expensive for what it is. Had the 12 yr and wasn't impressed took a chance and bought the 15 yr,big mistake. Dalmore is not getting any more of my money that is certain. There are so many better whiskies out there for less money. Sorry Dalmore. ☹👎
Like?
Oh please!
do you recommend any? I would like to give a present to my lil sister. she's aprecciate but i don't understand any of this
@@gbrlcardozo ohh🤔, good question, does she prefer a sherried whisky? Or ex bourbon mature whiskies, light or heavy peated or no peat. Maybe a beginners whisky?
@@davidowen2834 idk 😅 but she’s not a beginner. she drinking ballantine 12y (i don’t enjoy whisky 🥴 (so idk
). i would like to give for some “special moments”. new lawyer to the world 👩⚖️
