Who cares what their neighbors think? I know I don't and never will. That's the problem with certain people they don't know how to mind their own business.
I had one of the big lots pocket hose. It lasted me 2 years, we moved it stayed. I left it out year round. I did drain it after each use though. I was actually impressed with it. I live in the east cost. We can get temperatures in the 100s during summer to as low as single digits during winter with wind chills.
I'd say be careful with wish products, because even if they look and work the same you never know what chemicals can pass onto your food from the cheap materials they might use! Love the videos so much man!
Ur childlike enthusiasm on the products u review is extremely entertaining. For example, when u found out there were 2 carrying cases for the glasses. I love it and I hope u never quit!!
I end up wearing sunglasses at night, while I'm driving. My eyes are sensitive to the light, and the bright ass headlights make it difficult for me to see the road and where I'm going. Glasses with yellow lenses tone down the glare.
Big lots. I bought a small greenhouse, it lasted 1 year and disintigrated. I bought a cooking pot with 2 steamer inserts in it to cook more than 1 item. I still use that, 15 yrs later. I bought a kitchen island on wheels, still using that 7 yrs later but the butcher block top not holding up well. I bought a cheap butcher block with cheap knives in it for the block, not the knives. Much to my surprise I continued to use the serrated steak knives that came with the block and they hv held up just as well as my $20 each steak knives...over 15 yrs now. I bought a large floor rug 6 yrs ago. Still looks great.
I thought kink free just meant it won't kink during use the way rubber hoses do. I'd call the big lots one kink proof in terms of practical use. Great vid, as always the honest reviews are appreciated
theodore j agree, kinking doesn’t mean pinching the hose in half to reduce or stop the flow of water through the hose but rather having the hose twist over itself while in use and thus cutting off the water supply.
If Bailey approves of the hose then it's good enough for me 🐶 the glasses are a NO the eaglets a Nope and the lights I agree go with the ones from Biglots. Awesome review as always! Thanks James for all you do and for saving us literally tons of money! Your the best! ❤👏🤗
Yes, the egg gadgets are likely made at same place. When companies say counterfeit or knockoff sometimes they are just saying they branded the item first, not lesser quality if manufactured at same place. It's the generic vs namebrand game.
Interesting, the clear vision glasses at Menards I looked at did have polarization when I tested using my phone screen. It would be good to test also rotating the glasses 90° as polarization can be at different angles and only work in specific orientations.
I find it kinda funny that from a recommended video, this turned to be one of those channels I watch immediately as soon as the videos show up on my feed.
5:30 polarized sunglasses not always good become you cant see cellphone display when turned or car dashboard when turning head. There are other occupations that require a worker to be able to read certain digital numbers on a liquid crystal display. Polarized lens sometimes can interfere with the visibility of the numbers and should be avoided.
No the orange sticker just means that's what they had in their pricing gun at the time if it's on clearance it would have a red & white sticker placed over the white Big Lots or the orange one.
I *LOVE* my Egglettes! I've been using them for years. It's A LOT EASIER to pop an egg out of an Egglette compared to trying to remove many many pieces of shell of off a hard-boiled egg in a shell. THANKS FREAKIN' REVIEWS!
Entertaining comparison review. Happy to see the appearance of Bailey. Love the Corey Hart reference. Hope you do a follow up on the Big Lots lights to see if they continue to out perform.
Mr. James Freakin White! Yet another upload that I couldn't click on fast enough! Thanks for putting in that work to make these reviews interesting. Rock on bro 💪🏽
Only issue I had with mine was the nozzle end it came with did not last long and if left the nozzle end on when you turn the water on the hose would take off and shot around.
Great review James! As a part-time Big Lots employee I can honestly say I thought these were all ASOTV items. I never realized they didn't have the TV logo on them, lol. If you need any Big Lots help let me know. Keep up the awesome reviews!
I can see it for someone that doesn't have the ability to peel a hard boiled egg. I follow a guy on TikTok that lost his arm in an auto accident, so there is a small market for them.
I think Aldi's (U.S.) also has some of those things too, but they do them on rotating inventory. (Big Lots isn't in my city anymore, even though I remember them being around for about 10 years.)
Wouldn't a white hose be better because of heat? I have NEVER had a flex hose survive for morr than a few uses. They are great in theory , but reality says otherwise.....should make the outer part Kevlar.
Cool video. I used to watch you a lot but haven't gotten any notices in a very long time despite being a subscriber and the bell is active. I only found you today because I was looking at RC UFO's and your flying ball video came up.
We use a retractable hose and we drain after every use and have a bucket with a lid and they seem to last for about a summer sometimes longer doubt it would last even if brought in. These hoses are just not made to last. They are handy and don't take up much space which is why we continue to use them. I just wish they found a way to make them last longer.
I'm too frugal to buy a hose that will only last a summer. I use hoses from Rural King (farm store). I currently have 3. There's always one left out through winter, but they're all out spring through fall. Oldest one I had was 20 years, I replaced it last year. It had a small hole. I coulda fixed it, but the hose served it's purpose. I love these reviews you do. I've even commented more than once to someone in a store contemplating purchasing something you reviewed and they always appreciate me showing them the review. Thanks!
I work at biglots and the orange sticker is juts when we didn't have the price tickets with the product so we had to make them. Now for clearance tickets they are also orange but they say clearance on the top.
I’ve had this same issue with the pocket hose. It’s a massive flaw with it. In fact, I’ve already returned two and will no longer unscrew the top end anymore as it’s about to crap out. Why they thought putting plastic for a thread was a good idea...is beyond me.
That California cancer thing is one of those funny things. I visited a couple of times and Disneyland had that warning about their park. Starbucks also had a warning in their store. I think businesses do that to protect themselves in response to a state law rather than actually having any significant risk of cancer in their products or locations.
Besides providing valuable product reviews, you are a consistently funny guy. You're my go to guy for accurate info and an endorphin high. You're the man ;)
I have the Wish version of the Egglettes, they work fine. I do a quick spray of Olive Oil spray, the wipe around the inside of the bowl. The eggs come out fine!
Ok I live in NY and I have one of those self shrinking houses. I drain it after use, and I leave it outside. So far it has survived about a year and a half . I don't know what brand it id.🤔
I've used the Big Lots hose here in NJ for a couple of years without incident. I leave it out all summer, drain it after each use, store it in an unheated shed in winter. I think it's worth the price. Bailey is great.
11:35, that reflection you see in the middle of the screen is likely caused by a UV filter on the end of you camera if you are using one. If so I recommend taking it off while filming or taking pics in low light to prevent that from happening. Lesson I've learned.
I purchased a 25' Pocket hose in the Spring of 2018 and it still looks brand new. We do drain most of the water after each use, but it does hang on the side of the house where it gets sun for about 10-12 hours/day. We do completely drain it and bring it into the house for the winter. We have used it quite a bit with our power washer for several hours/day with no ill effects or blow-outs. All-in-all I'm very happy with it, I like that it's lightweight and easy to store and that it takes a real effort to kink it. Well worth the $20 I paid for it. Edited to add: We live in NE Ohio.
Comment about solar powered lites. Is it possible the batteries need changing on the old lites? I have seen rechargeable batteries for the solar lites on eBay. PS do a show on generic rechargeable batteries.
The fact that the old Bell and Howell light is all yellowed in the transparent portion suggests that they cheaped out on the plastic, it's not Sunlight/UV resistant.
ZakkuEmanyueru yes but for someone like me who finds peeling eggs awkward due to difficulty with my hands things like that are really cool. Also I depends how hard you want your eggs cooked and how hot your water is.
You have more sunglasses than my entire family has ever owned, over the past century.
Damn I just realized that

What a strange and specific family history study!

He has eaten more eggs than my entire family has ever cooked, over the entire past century.
One thing I noticed is that no matter how much you watered the solar lights they did not grow.
MrFmiller - they were in direct sunlight under a hot desert sun in poor soil conditions. It's pretty obvious why they didn't grow any.
he forgot to use and review Miracle-Gro
Change their batteries . They all should work
Mine grew just fine, must've done something wrong
THATS CUTE 😍
Your neighbours must think you are crazy, out watering your lights again! Lol
Right? Haha "Honey, James is watering those lights again..."
😂😂🤣🤣

Bailey is adorable. Love when she's in the videos.
Same, I love when she "bites" the water!
@@jillianburke2 Reminds me of what my dogs do to a sprinkler.
Me too. I love animals but pets are cute no matter how big they are
Bailey is always the star in the videos. You should do a review on dog treats and see what Bailey likes best! ❤️
Bailie don't care. It's a treat.
Steak. Always steak.
I like that that's funny. But, dogs eat pretty much everything
He has before and it didn’t get any views
So she’s gonna tell him which one she likes best? How? Please explain the logistics of that bc I’d really like to know.
I appreciate everything you do, like you really be doing extras to show us every detail and you just keep it real
Imagine going for a walk, and seeing James watering his solar lights.. 😎
Ice Out 😝😝👏👏 seen walking away muttering ‘crazy neighbors!’
Then watching him drain one hose, attach a second and water then some more
Maybe expecting a street light so sprout?
*Hey the weirdo next door is watering his lights again.*
They keep 911 on speed dial
Maybe they're grow lights. LOL
He's also doing brief reviews of his pocket hose!
😂

Time to water the lights.
You should do a video of as seen on shark tank products.

I have found if you put a good car wax on the lenses of lights like these, it protects them, better, from UV and keeps them from yellowing.
Good tip thanks!
I have done that with my vehicle headlights as well. So far, no hazing or yellowing and it’s 14 years old!

85% of everything is made in China at the same place just different label
Yep, Kevin (from Shark Tank) would be having a ball right now talking about "proprietary" crap.😂
Yeah its mostly a bunch of china made junk
As hinted at, could come from under the same roof.

I came here to point this out. You can't really tell if they are polarized without rotating them. They maybe just be polarized differently

If eggs only would come with some sort of shell to cook them in.

How are the glasses at nite that is why I would buy them. Also, have you checked out the water hoses from HGTV & QVC? I'm so tired of buying hoses.
