It took me some time to warm up to Lidia and I get the sense that she is definitely linked to TOG somehow. There are parts of HOFAS I enjoyed but ngl I think I clocked out at the Tharion and Ithan parts.
It was the nonstop info dumps in the first part that did me in. I also think my expectations for this book were too high with how book 2 ended. I wanted more of the cozier scenes with everyone! But at least we had all the bonus chapters for more of that 🙃
