I Happened upon these books 6 years ago at a book fair. Bought the whole series for $5… obviously had the original covers… and I’m glad she made reprints because mine are literally falling apart with how many times I’ve read them. I am in love with everything about them and I doubt I’ll ever find a series I love as much as this. I’m glad Rain, Ellysetta and C.L. WILSON are getting the recognition they deserve ❤️

I ended up listening up to 50% of the first book last night. I love the classic feeling of the writing. There are newer versions of book 1 and 2 released in 2021 with Abby Craden as the narrator. The older versions are from 2010 read by Stephanie Riggio. The audobooks for books 3-5 are from 2010 too and dont have newer versions (yet). If the older feeling of the audiobooks from 2010 is off-putting for some, there is an alternative option with the Abby Craden versions!
This is so helpful! Apparently my library only had the old one, so I had no idea there was another! I am really enjoying the classic feeling, too. It’s almost decadent, letting you live in the scenes more!

Hold on to them because they are treasures! I’ve managed to find 3 original covers, 1 advance reader copy for book 1, and then a reprint of the original cover! I still plan to get the new ones 🤣
I feel this!! I’m taking my sweet time reading Tairen Soul, but at least it’s finished! I’m hoping by the time I start the next series, we’ll get some book 3 news. Ever an optimist!
