I was a little surprised at how quickly the story moved in this one. I thought going in that Aedion's rescue would come later in the book, but it happened very early on and he had a large role throughout. I'm glad it worked out that way, because it allowed for so many events to take place. Thank you for the shoutout, and thanks for all of the great content! I found myself laughing a few times while watching, especially when Sandra made her "maasacre" pun. She was SO proud of herself 🤣
Hey-sometimes you just have to own the cheesiness. Moms love corn, too! 🤣🤣🤣 SO glad you loved Queen of Shadows, too! It’s definitely up there for me in the entire series.
Definitely a favorite book so far! So many plans unfolding, a lot of character development, ALL the stakes rising, and just such a great balance of humor and action! We appreciate both your support so much!

I just started reading this series with this book loool! I’ll be coming back to leave more commentary! Decided to start with this book because I hate how sjm tends to massacre first love interests aka what she did to tamlin in acotar. Right now I don’t like Aelin much but I like Manon. From peoples summaries, Rowan seems very aggressive and mean to her. He said some pretty hurtful things to Aelin in the third book so while I know they are end game, I don’t really ship them😅. But who knows, my mind will change as I keep reading! Only on chapter 10 here…
Omg…! SORCERY. How are you starting with book 4 AND a sane person??? 😂😂😂 My first read-through I didn’t care for Aelin very much, but she’s grown on me a lot with subsequent reads. Manon is still my queen tho. I was a dumb-dumb and didn’t learn my lesson with SJM on doomed first romances in both series, which is why with CC I REFUSE to ship Bryce two books in 🤣🤣🤣 SO glad you popped in and left this comment, and for you to read the series despite going in on book 4! Bahahahahaha

Maybe SJM is switching things up, unless CC ends up being a quartet instead of a trilogy -_-. I won't even read CC even though I've watched all the spoilers on the two books!
