Lily is the most compassionate twenty years old I've come across in all my years. She's an old soul who is a quick read, she just gets it cause of what she's lived through. She's surrounded by her zDad dear friends and band mates and there wife's and children in Seattle. They are all one big huge support team. Her mother Susan is a very accomplished women. And she Adores lily. She's a grounded Mother .Chris s Fans simply adore Lily we have her back.

I think the answer is obvious. Chris’s widow, his mother in law and their followers don’t agree with Lily being so open about mental health and putting it out there in the world that Chris had depression.

I wanna stress out - and I don't wanna sound cheesy or patronizing - how important it is to talk to somebody - professional or friend/relative - about your own mental health. I just wanna point out that two days ago Japanese actress Ashina Sei died of a suicide. She's the fourth in South Korea / Japan in less than a year who committed suicide (the others being Gu Hara, Hana Kimura and Haruma Miura). Ahn So Jin died in 2015 of suicide, too. Also adding to the numbers is American Twitch streamer Reckful who also committed suicide this year. Except for the last one where the reason is not yet disclosed, all these people had to deal with hateful comments and cyberbullying. I don't know how much of a taboo mental health, depression and suicide are in the US (probably not remotely as tabooed as in Japan and South Korea), but speak up about it. It's the first and most difficult step to convalescence. Topics such as depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts are widely tabooed, and Japan and South Korea show us where tabooing leads you. Both countries almost have what you could call a ban on these topics and both countries are among the top 30 countries with the highest number of suicides / suicide attempts with South Korea even hitting the no. 10 spot.
And if you can't open up about it, which is understandable, there are online chats which you can use anonymously.

I agree. Mental health still a taboo in our society. I suffer from severe social anxiety, so I know how difficult is to face this monster called anxiety.

Thank you so much for speaking out, Lily. I can’t thank her enough. I’ve been suffering from mental illness since I was a kid, and it’s been hell for me. When you have been suffering from severe depression, borderline personality disorder, autism, and PTSD for almost 20 years without making much progress, it feels like the world doesn’t want to listen to you.
The American mental health system is a joke. It’s bad enough that America doesn’t have universal healthcare (I’ve been recommended treatments with an over 80% success rate, but it wasn’t covered by any of my insurance), but psychiatric hospitals are a terrible place to be (humans aren’t meant to be locked in cages) and I haven’t met one psychiatrist that hasn’t given me the whole “I’m the doctor, you’re the patient, I’m right, you’re wrong. I know exactly what you’re going through despite I’ve known you for only 4 (or less) months” crap.
Saying it hurts is an understatement. To be in so much pain to the point you feel like death is the only way out, you can’t possibly imagine it, unless you’re going through it yourself.

Say hello to heaven, Chris. slowly i can hear the music again which chris made with his voice and the lyrics to what it is. it really wasn't possible. chris has been my role model as a singer and his person since i was 14 years old. now i'm 43. i'm a singer too and chris has always been my inspiration and benchmark. technical and emotional. the day he died i didn't understand the world anymore. on this day / morning my grandma died too. I will never forget that. In the morning the message came from the hospital, in the evening the news about chris on the social media. that was scary. what does someone want to tell me? and i was alone on THAT day. my wife was working far from our home.
chris always has a big place in my heart. until I die myself. rip mr. cornell.

Some people here are literally ignoring the thing that exists called "Everyone being Depressed" and are claiming that they were murdered by the government. Goes to show you how many people are still ignorant and saying that only themselves can have feelings.
Also, why the Hell wasn't the person Chris was married to mentioned? She was a disrespectful person and deserves nothing but shame.

I desperately need to see a mental health professional, but can't afford it.
It costs $55 per visit for me to see a mental health professional with my insurance.
Hence, the future is very dark for me. I have no meaningful resources and don't think I'm going to be around much longer.
    Just being honest.

    Hey! what about those HELPLINES?
    I called one of them:
First, nobody answered for over 15 minutes
Second, they insisted asking for my details (I didn’t give it to them)
Third, they ask me what my relation with the depressed was
… basically they spent more time asking about phone numbers and emails rather than offering any help.
No offence, but, isn’t that fucked up?

@David Calderon Wow. That’s your answer? Yeah, sounds convincing. If you have proof, then link from where you learned your top secret information. I agree MJ and Prince were masterpiece artists, but to say they were killed by the government or a church, is basically crazy talk. There’s enough witnesses and paperwork on those two incidents that we know exactly how and why they died. Was Chris Farley, Bon Scott, Elvis, and the Easter Bunny all murdered too?
