I got obsessed with the beauty of the countryside from your drone and spent an hour finding where this was. I guessed Black Sea based on your other videos and the Caucasus in the distance. I went on Google Earth and traced the coastline until I saw the peninsula from the video which looks like the port city of Batumi. I just moved Google Earth around until the view matched. Kobuleti, Georgia near the Bobokvati Mosque. Amazing video. Thank you!

As someone who has a passion for both R/C flying and real world flying, and as an instrument rated pilot, I am both soothed at the beautiful footage yet slightly discomforted at the thought of slamming into an FPV plane😅 either way, the guy seems to know what he’s doing and not causing any undue harm. This kind of stuff was my dream when I was young and FPV was new. It seems so accessible now but the laws pretty much make it impossible. Understandably, but still, it’s just so beautiful
I sincerely hope that this hobby doesn’t get shut down even further by our already overreaching government. We have enough restrictions as it is without denying people the chance to see the world from above.

How do you try to fly ‘away from the possible appearance of other aircraft’? Just curious as you are so far away and at such altitude you would have very little spatial awareness unless you are running some ADS-B receiver or similar? Otherwise you would have no clue if an IFR aircraft would come through the clouds into you surely?
@@artayek1517 In the USA we are limited to 120 meters unless next to a mountain or building. We can not fly over people unless there are prop guards. Then there is the line of sight rule which means we have to see it with our own eyes without the aid of a telescope. We are so restricted here but there are still vast empty lands away from every city.

Stay out of restricted airspace and check local air traffic before flights. If you happen to hear a plane or helicopter safely drop altitude to stay below their minimums.

I need to learn how to build one of these! I started drones last September but something about flying for 30minues or more sounds so much better! Lol I got 2 arris 5in, a dji fpv and a pavo20 so far, now I want some wings!
Like others, I feel a bit uncomfortable about local air traffic - that you can avoid somehow with opening your ears and eyes and looking at Air Traffic websites but I am even more uncomfortable about flying at high speed above properties and ground traffic / highways. If you smash into a truck on highway there could be casualties, probably not from the kinetic energy of the plane, but from the panic it may create to the driver... and then your personal penal and civil liabilities (on top of your sorrow) would be immense - jail time + $$$

How did you get an allowance!? I am pretty sure the penalty for it if unauthorised flight in this altitude (>120m ) is pretty high. In germany its 50.000 EUR if you get caught.
Man this is a great flight. The footage is amazing. I've been looking at the dolphin for a while now and this makes me want one even more lol. Especially if this DJI ban in the US goes through and the government somehow is able to actively enforce it, ill go the fpv route with this. What was the altitude here? What's the battery life/speed like with this setup?
Beautiful footage. You know, if the conditions are right you can actually ridge soar the windward edge of the clouds and save some power, extending your flight time a little, I’ve ridge soared up the side of clouds with my paraglider, it’s pretty amazing, it’s almost like a giant mountain in the air and the wind blows up and over them creating lift.
I want to dive into fixed wing fpv, what would u recommend between this and the atomrc penguin? I want a wing capable to do some acro and mountain surfing.

You realize the reason there are laws in other countries is because they want to keep the general public safe, right? You fly over motorways and within just 50 meters from cars at high speed…. why would you take those chances? Your selfishness is endangering others.
I'll assume you filled in all the paperwork required to exceed the normal legal altitude limit. The footage is mesmerising. Does the Dolphin have much issue with turbulence at that height? The wide angle of the lens must no doubt make the aircraft appear to be higher then it really is, and the clouds being that low around the natural features must limit the area to General Aviation.
Yea some countries have easy going rules..in the USA this flight would have been multiple FAA violations. Some countries you cant legally fly more than100 meters away..others dont care. Happy flying.

FAA fined a YT drone pilot $182,000, in 2020, for multiple violations that he posted on his YT channel. Distance, weight, altitude and proximity to clouds are all heavily regulated by the FAA, in Part 107, for small unmanned systems.

crossfire radio system can handle up to 40km
as long as you have line of sight you can go really far, but the second you go behind something it will drastically kill your signal

Thanks! you could use curtain protection with servo for lense or just look back when are going throught cloud. Dont forget about water resistance

There is doesn't have general aviation. i have issue with turbulense once before huge sea storm, but just shake a lot. Usually dolphin flyes good
