I loved that I listened to the podcast first and then watched Brady and Luke create an awesome film as a team. No, he wasn’t a giant, but you took a great ball saving him a painful end.
What dedication to the hunt. Brady you really represent the modern day dedicated hunter. Thank you Luke for being there to take us on the journey. Strong work!!
i think everyone including myself, loves bradys dedication, passion, authentic experience he gets while on his hunts. It is truly an experience like no other. awesome film!
Got-damn I love these videos! Living most of my life on the East Coast, I have worked really hard to become the most skilled poser in the game. GoHunt's gear shop helps me look like I know what I'm doing, and these videos help me live vicariously through legit hunters. It's a one-stop shop! Keep them coming boys. Another 2 or 3 Septembers out West, and maybe I'll be able to watch without shame.
That brings back memories of one of our CO OTC elk trips. Buddy shot a bull opening morning as the snowstorm rolled in. Long story short, we spent the whole second day of the season moving camp off the mountain. Third day couldn't get the truck up much past our original camp spot. 3 miles up the road, then 1.5mi up the mountain in waist deep snow to get to where he stashed the meat. Brutal day
My gosh I was worried!! Your story sounds like mine, but a lot worse. It was one of those decisions that the terrain was so steep, that going back to my truck and packing the bull out that way seemed like an unsafe decision. I was so worried if not see my truck until spring.
As much as we all want to see a hit on the first shot, It was absolutely amazing watching from the first shot to the last. The communication, the focus not letting the misses trip you up. To 2 great contacts to put the bull down to experience the cleanest death it ever would have had a chance at in the wild. Thank you brady for sharing this hunt with us. Top Tier
😮 Dude Brady you are so stubborn in the best way. You know most deer have dropped down and you're looking for a Big Buck who is as stubborn as you. Staying up high for as long as he can.
I've done late season elk hunts in the snow...and it is hard. REALLY hard. I know that's not what the goal was, but holy cow he earned it. Well done, incredible grit.
Took a nice buck 6 miles in. We were hunting the rattlesnake range of Central Wyoming at about 8000 ft. Took us 2 days to get the buck out, and this was before GPS. To be honest at 40 yrs. I never hunted that high or that far in again!
As Brian Call would say some men can and some men can’t. Idk how I would fair in this situation but I would do just about anything to experience this right here. Well done Brady, videos like this give me the motivation to get into shape to do these sorts of things.
Dude... after spending the weekend with ya at the Western Hunting Summit, I know there's no way you'd have shot that bull if he wasn't injured and most likely not making it through the winter. You make it to WY, look me up, I'll follow your pack out anywhere. Bull or Buck. Cheers Buddy.
Nice bull. It's amusing listening to you talk about how you're a muley hunter but focused on the elk because it was available. I am absolutely going for elk first, but have shot at deer when the elk weren't showing themselves. Meat in the freezer is meat in the freezer.
Thanks for watching! Haha, my hunts are usually a great combination of long miles, steep hikes and plenty of suffering. But those are definitely the memories I cherish.
Great video! 2 questions: Late season hunts, bring snow shoes? Yay or nay? Second, what type of chains are on the truck? Do they make a big difference in the deep snow?
Appreciate you watching! I really just wanted to be more mobile since this was a new unit for me. I had my backpack stove and tent with, but I figured staying this course would provide me with a little more opportunity, rather than putting all my eggs into one smaller location on a backpack hunt. Plus then we wouldn't have to carry more of the late season gear with every day on our back. I love backpacking on these late hunts, but sometimes with so many roads, I'll elect to do this method.
It’s a great question. The bull had a broke right front leg. And after I shot the bull, while cutting him up I could take the front leg and spin it around freely as it was completely broken. I don’t like seeing animals suffer at all. So it was an easy decision in a way for me to pursue this bull. I’ll never know if he would have survived, but I think this bull would have had a tough time in the winter based on how slow he moved. Nature is hard.
Lol I would love to but in the shape I am right now I wouldn’t last more than a day. Brady and this cameraman are beasts. I’m just now getting in shape for a ruby mountain deer hunt end of august. Should be interesting lol.

Thanks, what's his rifle set up?
I loved that I listened to the podcast first and then watched Brady and Luke create an awesome film as a team. No, he wasn’t a giant, but you took a great ball saving him a painful end.
Thank you for the support!
Love to see the true sportsmanship and heart of shooting the wounded bull. Brady leading the way!
Greatly appreciate that!!
What dedication to the hunt. Brady you really represent the modern day dedicated hunter. Thank you Luke for being there to take us on the journey. Strong work!!

Thank you!
Great filming Duse!!!!
Thanks brother!!
what a great hunt, very authentic representation of how much grit it takes to get it done on some hunts. Glad you could share it.
I greatly appreciate that! Thank you for checking out the film.
Great film guys! Gets me jacked for my fall OTC hunt. Brady you are a beast and props to your cameraman for pushing just as hard!! Well done
Good luck this fall!
Brady is a savage. And so is that cameraman
Brady's an elk guy now. Memorable hunt I'd say.
Haha. That joke is getting pretty funny on the podcast lately ;) Can't wait for some mule deer hunts this fall. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for taking time to film this!
Thanks for watching!
Beauty of a video!! Great work Luke!
Luke is amazing!! Such a talented person. Happy to call him a friend. Thanks for watching!
Luke is one of the best people on the planet. Pretty good with a camera too.
I mountaineered for a decade all in my 30’s. I got all that type 2 fun out of my system like this hunt. Hammer down Brady!
Sweet hunt Brady! LOVE IT! That was GRITTY! ✊🏼
Thank you buddy! I’m excited to watch the one you dropped today 🔥🔥

Thank you for the support! Best of luck in your upcoming hunts keep up the grind!
I give you props. Some people would of just left the rest of the elk out there. Your a true sportsman and hunter.
Your dedication and perseverance is astounding. What a hunt!
Hard core! Great job!
Big elk guy!!!! Great stuff guys I really enjoyed it.
Thank you! 💪
Appreciate ya buddy!
You are a go getter and it shows in your hunting success God's Blessings on all your adventures
Thanks, Perry!
Sweet film! Brady has gotten himself into a few snow debacles chasing mule deer over the past years!
That brings back memories of one of our CO OTC elk trips. Buddy shot a bull opening morning as the snowstorm rolled in. Third day couldn't get the truck up much past our original camp spot. 3 miles up the road, then 1.5mi up the mountain in waist deep snow to get to where he stashed the meat. Brutal day
That's one of those things that means a lot on the life resume.
Great film! I always love seeing Luke's work. Glad you went easy on him with only knee high snow and a meager seven miles in.😂 (Better him than me!🤣)
💯💯💯
Thanks for sharing. I remember the story on the podcast. That camera man was down! That’s good help.
Awesome!!! Did an archery hunt like this....I'll never forget it!!
I'm glad you got your truck out! Same thing happened to me this fall. Difference is that my truck was on the mountain substantially longer!
My gosh I was worried!! Your story sounds like mine, but a lot worse. It was one of those decisions that the terrain was so steep, that going back to my truck and packing the bull out that way seemed like an unsafe decision. I was so worried if not see my truck until spring.
Wow, great job, guys you are my hero.
Appreciate you checking out the film!

Great job! Yes in deed, great job!
Thank you for checking it out!
Bravo! Great hunt. Great guts. Great conditioning. Way to maintain your mental state given how arduous the experience was. Full admiration.
Awesome video! GoHunt and Stone Glacier videos are my favorites. I can't wait for hunting season. Cheers!
Wow, wonderful hunt. Good job everyone. Thank you for sharing this. Oh and snowshoes for the pack out. They help alot.
😮 Dude
Brady you are so stubborn in the best way. You know most deer have dropped down and you're looking for a Big Buck who is as stubborn as you. Staying up high for as long as he can.
💯
Thats was an amazing hunt. Great film. Definitely hard times.
Thanks for watching!

Great hunt and only a true hunter will push that hard!!!
Sweet hunt thanks for taking us along. Hopefully a nice mule deer buck will be in for forecast for next year
I hope so too! Mule deer always are my passion. And I’ll definitely have more years of passing up bucks. Thanks for watching!
I'm getting goosebumps watching this while grinding it out on the rower. Can't wait until fall!
You guys are hardcore. Inspiring to push the limits and keep a PMA. Awesome work
Just love how he decided to after that bull good job 👌🏽🙌🏽
Hell of a job fellas! Keep poundin those mountains!
Appreciate it!!
Dang gents, that’s a freakin haul! Nice work, great film
Nicely done Brady and GoHunt, quality film!
All nighters are totally awesome!
Took a nice buck 6 miles in. We were hunting the rattlesnake range of Central Wyoming at about 8000 ft. Took us 2 days to get the buck out, and this was before GPS. To be honest at 40 yrs. I never hunted that high or that far in again!
Well done Brady! I know how much it hurt packing a stinky bull elk out vs a big crusty mule deer 😂. Good job Luke as well. 2 hood dudes 👊
Unreal video! Brad is officially on goat status!
I’m a guy that loves a good adventure! Thanks for watching.
13 miles os an easy day in the mountains. But snow makes it a bit tougher. That is why preseason training for 6 months is important.
Love it. Great job! Getting me fired up for my New Mexico elk hunt in October!
Good luck! 👊
What a great piece of filming!
Favorite elk hunt I have watched in a long time!! Great stuff, so pumped for hunting this year
Means a lot to us thank you!
Thumbs up if you think Rogan needs to have Brady Miller and Chris Neville on
👀
You earned that one
Appreciate it! Such a fun hunt to look back on.
As Brian Call would say some men can and some men can’t. Idk how I would fair in this situation but I would do just about anything to experience this right here. Well done Brady, videos like this give me the motivation to get into shape to do these sorts of things.
Best of luck! Thank you for watching!
No body as beast mode as B-rad. Amazing footage as usual in go hunt style. Can’t wait for the next one
Ha!! Thank you. Those mountains are so addicting. I love putting myself in them and enjoying the cards the mountain deals me.
Dude... after spending the weekend with ya at the Western Hunting Summit, I know there's no way you'd have shot that bull if he wasn't injured and most likely not making it through the winter. You make it to WY, look me up, I'll follow your pack out anywhere. Bull or Buck. Cheers Buddy.
Great responsible hunter awesome video really enjoyed the adventure. Thanks for sharing. 👍👌
Awesome video! What an adventure 👍🏻😃 “carp of the mountains”, says he lol! 😂
Thanks for watching!! Haha. You have no idea how hard I hold out from saying that line on films. I reserve that for podcasts or other video clips 🤣🤣
Nice bull. It's amusing listening to you talk about how you're a muley hunter but focused on the elk because it was available. I am absolutely going for elk first, but have shot at deer when the elk weren't showing themselves. Meat in the freezer is meat in the freezer.
Dude that motivated the shit out of me!
Love hearing that! The struggle is always worth it IMO. Best of luck this season!
What a trek! that looks like a tough day!!
Loved this one! Awesome job getting through everything!
Dedication right there!!
💯
Hell of a grind always love me some go hunt originals!!
That's what it's all about. Fantastic hunt!
Greatly appreciate you watching!
Always enjoy your content Brady! Nice work GoHunt.
Thank you for the kind words!
Thanx
Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice hunt.
Thanks for watching!
That shows what a hunter should do when they encounter an injured animal, the winter they had this past year it probably would not have made it 👍✌🏻🇺🇸
So great!!
Public land, hunting, adventure and freedom. Only in America!
Exactly!!!
Brady sure does love unit __ in Colorado! If you know you know!😂
Hahaha!! 🤣 I’m always hunting Florida mule deer.
Good hunt, and a bruiser of a pack out. Good work!
Excellent
Grueling hunt! Awesome
I didn't know Brady was packin' the lip! 😎
Whoa. Dedicated AF.
Way to stay with it. Some people would have probably said screw the meat. Great recap on the podcast.
Awesome hunt! thanks
cool video, loved the editing style.
Fargone did an amazing job on the edit!
Dang Brady! Awesome. Fortunately those big stinkies are big and tasty.😊
Thanks for watching! Haha, they definitely fill up the freezer a lot faster.
You sir are an animal!!!! Great video!!!!
I want to go with Brady. I'll take the ones he passes on.
Thanks for watching! Haha, my hunts are usually a great combination of long miles, steep hikes and plenty of suffering. But those are definitely the memories I cherish.
Awesome video gentlemen. 👍🏻👍🏻
Nice work!
It's the packout👍
Great video.
We know Brady is, deep down, really just a big elk guy 😂
👀😂
Haha!
Great video! 2 questions: Late season hunts, bring snow shoes? Yay or nay? Second, what type of chains are on the truck? Do they make a big difference in the deep snow?
such an awesome ethical thing to do way to go brady also meat in the freezer
Sheesh, great adventure! One day
Awesome adventure. Y’all are making top notch content. Just curious why you chose not to backpack hunt if you were going in that far?
Appreciate you watching! I really just wanted to be more mobile since this was a new unit for me. I had my backpack stove and tent with, but I figured staying this course would provide me with a little more opportunity, rather than putting all my eggs into one smaller location on a backpack hunt. @@brady_j_miller That makes sense. I suspected that it wasn’t happenstance.
@Brady What headlamp we’re you using? Does it chew through batteries?
Whew what a hunt
Brady if you don’t mind me asking. What was wrong with the bulls leg? Awesome hunt and glad it didn’t have to suffer anymore.
Guessing the first shot hit the leg or it's was shot before.
Also, glad you enjoyed the film!
@brady_j_miller what rifle and cartridge did you use
Love to see an injured animal get taken out. Nice film dudes
Thanks for watching, Josh!
I don’t wanna hunt with Brady 😂
Hahaha!!!!!
I do!
Lol I would love to but in the shape I am right now I wouldn’t last more than a day. Brady and this cameraman are beasts. I’m just now getting in shape for a ruby mountain deer hunt end of august. Should be interesting lol.
Nice work!!
Thank you!! Hope you have a great weekend.
Nice work Brady! You can be my wing man anytime! 😉
Thank you!! Haha... deal :)
