That one antler looks like a beast heck yeah put the hammer down on both meat in the freezer, so when you was scouting the area did you hike in or horse back in there 👍✌🏻🇺🇸
Awesome hunt guys. Way to take it down to the wire. Two bucks back to back would be a dream come true even though that’s when the work begins.
My youngest brother and my cousins along with my uncle will be heading out to Idaho for a similar hunt minus the llamas 🦙. Hopefully 🙏 they have similar experience and luck 🍀 at the end.

I bet those other hunters are GoHunt Insiders, too. They went deep and hardcore, but still couldn't find anything. This unit looks good on the stats of how many trophy deer have come out of here in the past but the reality is that even finding a legal buck in shooting light during the Idaho general season is tough. Accurate depiction of how hard this unit is.
Two of the other hunters actually ended up killing two bucks opening morning, one of which goes over 200"

You think these places are a secret or perhaps only privileged areas only you can explore? For whatever reason hunters and their “secret” spots are theirs and only theirs. Wrong! It’s not hard for me to narrow down that area.
