Very informative, odd that the P4 looks sharper during the day but the Mavic is sharper at night. Either way, it's very impressive how well the Mavic performs given the size/weight reduction.
Best review so far especially with the honesty in tracking! So many other videos test tracking whilst on foot which for the most part the Mavic wont be doing. Cant wait to get ours soon to heighten the standard of our videos!

Can you make the tracking more aggressive so it can track faster moving objects? Any settings for that? I wonder if it can track flying objects? How about objects not just below but above with the sky in the background. Thanks. BTW, best review video.
So everyone blames the first reviewer, not fo focus with the mavic. But we see now, the P4 has definitly a much better picture quality in daylight. I don't like the picture of the mavic. But would like to see if you get a P4 like picture with sharpening in post? But the quality at night is incredible with the mavic. Hadn't expect that big increase in quality! :)

The sharpness of the Mavic at night time is astonishing, it cannot be the optics so i bet it has lower noise and thus less agressive denoising, do you agree ? Would it be possible to do a comparison at low light (no matter can be indoor) with manual settings to step up the brightnedd +3 EV to see the noise difference and remaining dynamic range of Mavic vs. P4 ? Great review definitely I was sold when I saw the presentation and put my order on the 1st of oct because there was a huge congestion on their online store for several days and I waited for it to be with less congestion I hope people start getting their drones the following weeks ahead. Mine is staying pending for shipping so I hope my order change status and show me what carrier is it leaving since it says pending for shipping

Hi odinblog, I have a question for your review. The field of view comparison, you first show the Mavic, then the P4, and then both together. The Mavic shot at 1:11 you see the boat to the left and 1 tall building to the right. The P4 shot at 1:15, you see the boat to the left and 2 tall buildings to the right. In the comparison, at 1:21 you show the P4 image, with the Mavic shot on top with at black square - as if the P4 is not much wider than Mavic. My question is : Are the 2 separate shots, ( 1:11 and 1:15 ) shot from the same location/distance? For me it seems like the P4 is much wider, than it shows in the comparison shot. The comparison shot at 1:20 doesn't seem legit. Thanks.

I have tried 2km flight at a mid-interference (P3: 2km) area, and 4.4km (RTH because of insufficient battery)(P3: 6km) flight at a low-interference area. －how sharp is the turns compare to p4 in sport mode? Using the wifi setting, you can hold your phone in one hand and the Mavic in the other to shoot video on the ground, but the arms in the back of the drone need to be folded out. This is better than just repeating the same things 20 other reviewers have already said. And none of the others have done such a thorough comparison. This is great! I especially love the field of view comparison. The only thing missing is a test to see if sharpening in post can bring the sharpness of the Mavic closer to the P4.

Mavic is F2.2 but Phantom 4 is F2.8, that why Mavic is absolutely better than Phantom in low light situation.

Not exactly the same time to prevent the drone from interference, and mostly I flew Mavic first and P4 after 15-30 mins.

mylorik Not so much unless you are using 1080p streaming. If the signal is bad, it will change it to 720p automatically.

The arms have no sensor and you can turn on, or disarm your Mavic (take your own risk 😂) .... even I don't recommend to disarm.
