It's great to hear an opinion of the Mavic that we can all trust! Thanks for taking the time to put this together, and for flying in a safe location. Hopefully the Mavic (Pro) stands up to the test of time with its new folding arm feature.
I used to have a DJI Inspire 1 which was amazing, but it was way too hard to get it from point A to point B when travelling. Especially hiking. That's why the Mavic rocks. You can even put it in with your normal camera bag. Love it! The most practical travel drone yet!
Good review, thx I love the Mavic Pro, the easiest drone to fly. I got it last week, with a couple youtube videos I was up on the air, it handles very easy. impressive footage, I did my editing with Final Cut. EASY!!!!! all done in the same day. I went hiking; my bottle water was heavier then my Mavic Pro. I LOVE IT, great work DJI.
I saw the KARMA at oppenheimer drone day, a review before its launched would be awesome. Doesn't look like they are sending out any review models pre-production though, even to people like FliteTest
All i can think of for a comparison.. It's much longer, Uses a gopro fisheye lens(though has onboard image correction) 7x less range than this at 1000km(.6 miles) 30% less battery life. has a free carry gimbal(but its battery life is 1hr claimed only) Limited smart programming. Doesn't require the phone(tsh who carries a phone) I love to see a review from these chaps as they seem to be more inline from the angle I see things. Certainly more technical than most.
Deliveries are supposed to start getting sent from China today, but they're seriously overwhelmed by record sales. If you order today the likelyhood is that it'll be at least a month before they send it, maybe more. No one really knows.
i ordered on the 8th October in UK, was told shipping starts on 15th, and now got an email last night saying DJI has delayed shipping by another week at least..
I ordered on the 3rd in the US and have not heard anything. Considering what I have read around the net many ordered soon as you could order and the site went down it was so busy.
ockay16 It seems that the Karma has a more detailed and more crisp image thanks to the GoPro. The Mavic Image Quality is a slightly under the quality of a Phantom 4 from what I saw. Still amazing quality and for someone who isn't a professional photographer or movie maker, it's really good enough.
Nice job. Probably the best review I've seen on the Mavic. Will likely get one, but will wait until next Spring, since Winter is nigh, and it's hard to fly with frozen fingers.
Annnnd I'm sold. I have been thinking about jumping into this hobby, but didn't know where to start. After some research and patience, I am absolutely sold on the Mavic Pro. Gonna order one! Nice video!
Yes, the Mavic will work in exactly the same way. Just note that there are no sensors in the arms, so don't try to activate the motors; that would get messy!
I Walked into best buy and ran into the drones display. I came home and did some research and the Mavic Pro caught my eye. After watching this video, I had to do it! I had it checked out online and its on its way, great job guys on the details.
I am so surprised at how mature these platforms have become, I mean I know drones have been around for decades but the last couple of years have seen tremendous growth in this area
Indeed it can! In the box, there are both Lightning and microUSB cables. If you need USB-C, DJI will sell that separately ($8), or you can use a USBC-to-USBA cable and connect it to the USB port on the bottom of the controller.
Excellent video! Would have liked to see more information on how the phone connects to the controller and what's included in the box, but overall awesome review video with tons of helpful information.
this drone is basically dummy proof, it has crash avoidence so you can even fly it indoors without hitting walls roof or hard landings on the floor, it hovers in place inside and out....etc etc you will find it easy to fly
And a lot of you probably already know this but when you buy DJI you're getting a quality quadcopter that they put some time into it and they make it pretty durable
BleepinJeep it depends what flight mode you put it in, with trace it will buy with other modes the drone is flying sideways so the obstacle avoidance sensor won’t see the object
This may be my next purchase, I like the chase and side tracking of the unit, looking to do some more outside videos of my vehicle while I have it rolling etc...
Researching purchasing my first drone. Needed some no non-sense advice and product sampling. You 2 delivered both. I'll be subscribing and looking forward to more in-depth reviews. Thanks guys!
The customers' service of DJI is quite progressing! I had a crash the first day I had the Mavic. DJI immediately took the transport in charge and in less than two weeks I had my drone back! Replacement of one arm and of the gimbal: only 35€! :D
Pretty cool, but they had me at Phantom 1 FC-40 cost 600 dollars. The lost me at Phantom 2 but I liked the features, but couldn't afford to upgrade. Phantom 3 Advanced came on the seen and I had to get one cost 999.99 plus 2 extra batteries. One year later a motor locks up on my phantom 3 Advanced and it crashes in to the lake. I bought a second complete Phantom 3 Advanced in June this year because I have extra batteries and a charger at a cost of 679.99 since the Phantom 4 was just released the phantom 3 prices had came down. My point is that since May 2014 I have given DJI 2,500 dollars worth of my hard earned money. They couldn't even wait to release the Mavic until the Phantom 4 was at least a year old. Both are very cool but unless your independently wealthy or get free quads from DJI who can afford to upgrade every year? Keep up the good work guys.
I have a doubt before buying it: the mavic pro was launched in 2016, but i'm thinking about buying this drone in 2018. The doubt if: Will i still have support and will it still be working as it should be in 2020, for example? will i still have the same functionality in the DJI APP, or old drones stop working? Please someone help me.
The Mavic seems to be better in every point except by far the most important one for me, the camera quality. I've not been impressed with any of the videos so far, the Phantom 4 and Karma clearly have much better results. The Mavic could be the size of a matchbox with 1000 environment sensors but that counts for little if the resulting videos are all soft or out of focus.
I have seen videos that were soft, but later learned that the pilot did not focus the camera by touching the screen. This may be part of the problem, not sure.
Been looking at buying my first Drone. Looking at the Mavic for a few days and loved your review. I live in Newcastle England UK. AND I JUST LOVE WHERE YOU GUYS LIVE. Looks so nice, warm, sunny, spacious and I've always wanted to live in America! Anyway back to your review thanks and I think I will be saving a little bit longer so I can afford a Mavic Pro. Thanks
No... check images of other Mavics or even DJI promo pictures of Mavic; it's a gimbal join, it's there as part of the design. If you suspected it's a crack, it is easy to do an image search of the drone from other places and see if it's there in other pictures and videos. E.g., one picture; i.imgur.com/8KQmi7d.jpg others are easily accessible by searching, all showing the same join at the same site...
the little horizontal black line on the gimble? No, it's for the gimble to move vertically, if it didn't have a small cut there, it would only move horizontally
I think he flew it in a city (NYC of course), between buildings as well. Lots of signal interference from buildings (impacts RC control and satellite positioning too), and by the sounds of it he probably flew behind a building which disrupted LOS control of the drone too. Lesson is to never fly in a city, and if you have to fly in a city, always do short range LOS only. That goes for any drone, whether it's a Mavic, Phantom, Solo, Karma or toy helicopter.
Casey is an irresponsible idiot. The mavic is not in fault. he went full out of range, miles beyond out of range, and when he lost signal he didnt hit return to home and let the battery drain as he 'looked for' it. Nothing wrong with the quad, just bad quad user. But you know, doesnt matter its not like hes the one paying for his own toys
I've never flown, but within the last week, I've been given two drones, a Mini and a Mavic Pro..I'm practicing with the Mini now. Thanks for the great video...L&S
Anytime you get a free product, the review is absolutely skewed. There's no way to be unbiased unless you've spent your own hard-earned money. Because problems are much more frustrating and you're less likely to forgive.
I was hoping they would touch on how DJI reserves the right to report you to the FAA if you fly over 400ft vertically at their discretion. The users manual (from DJI's website) discuss how DJI records all of your flight data and sends it back to their headquarters. There is no option to turn this off and you can not opt out of it. Why would the community put up with this? Mind you, this is straight from DJI, not some fringe source.
Can anyone help me choose a drone I am tied between GoPro karma and dji mavic pro, I like the karma because it comes with the hand stabilizer and the back pack, but I know the mavic is the better drone, I am an adventurous person where the hand stabilizer will come in handy, also I like the Karma because I have a GoPro 4 and I would like the 5 becAuse of 4K and overall quality any suggestions to which drone I should get, thanks
fubbzywubbzy x I just bought the karma 2 days ago and it does things that I really do not like. I let it hover for a bit and I was talking to some guy about it and it started to land by itself to me that's a no no because if I had done that over a body of water and wasn't paying attention then I would've been bye bye karma and I noticed as well that when u let it hover it drifts side to side at times and that's a big let down as well because u will not get the shot u want so I'm going to return my karma and get the mavic because it doesn't do any of that and it has better features
It can't be denied that the Flite Test format has morphed over the last few years. It used to be primarily about entertainment and education. However as the Flite Test "Brand" has evolved there has been more emphasis on the products they produce and sell which is fair as we all need some form of income, and it can't be argued that the products they produce are excellent value for money if you live in the Continental United States. Though I do believe a lot of the original content has been lost to make room for the promoting of other companies off the shelf RTF products. Their last tutorial tips and tricks video was for thrust vectoring which was three months ago. In the past if they reviewed another company's product they would announce that the episode had been sponsored by that company e.g. HobbyKing and Horizon Hobby. I personally don't regard any uploads of the Mavic Pro as a review but more as advertisements for the product as they have all been provided free. When we actually see them in the hands of bonafide customers only then can we be sure of seeing genuine reviews. Regards. Nidge.
Relax man, when Flite test is testing something it's completely honest, if there is a feature that does not work they'll tell you about it, and if something comes up in the future, like a long therm problem they'll make a video about it.
Given the reliability I've seen in their other videos when I've tried the hardware myself? I'm inclined to believe that they're being totally honest. Especially seeing the other reviews I've seen of this now that it's out that almost entirely agree. This is just *that good* of a quad.
Not everything made in China is cost-oriented/cheap/knockoff as is mostly the case.. There are some cutting edge products being made by Chinese R&D companies.. For example : Lenovo (is completely engineered by the Chinese now - IBM is no longer involved in any manner).. FiiO , DJI , Dalian Wanda (Luxury retail, entertainment & services company) are all fully Chinese owned.. A lot of great high-quality stuff comes from China too :)
All of the capabilities and features are simply incredible even when compared to professional movie equipment of a few decades ago. There are plenty of professions and industries that will make use of these, e.g. search & rescue, landscaping, law enforcement, spotting for fire fighting, farming, ranching, real estate, hunting . . .
So glad you guys rated it so high! I just pulled the trigger on one before watching your review! Bit of an impulse buy, but it sounds like I won’t be disappointed when it arrives! Cheers.
Thanks for the video on the Mavic Pro. What lake where you on when you did the testing where you had the pontoon boat? Sorry for the question just interested, looked like a really nice area
Noticed the Pro Football Hall of Fame Bridge, I've been past that plenty of times and have been to that Quaker Steak and Lube and both movie theaters right there. Went to the University of Akron for a year. Loved the video!!! I have a Phantom 3 but plan on buying the Mavic Pro soon.
Thanks Guys for the awesome review...1st I was about to strike the deal with Karm 2017, then later streaming down came across Mavic Pro...This is really one of the awesome best drones created...9.20/10 by you Drone Master's makes it the best to buy.

The DJI Mavic is so cheap right now in the DJI Store: sites.google.com/site/djimavicdroning/ So much better deal than anywhere else!
never liked phantoms.....but fell in love with the mavic....
agree
alisher rakhimov - Love my Phantom 4 but I'm also getting the Mavic because it's everything the Phantom 4 is, and more, and less :)
This Mavic is what I have been picturing in an aerial camera for long time
alisher rakhimov was not a fan of the plug and play phantom drones, this has my interest
Grab the DJI Mavic now with a really nice deal compared to the Karma: click.dji.com/AJ17vFNtDQqmSArv9Kk?pm=link&as=0002
watching this in 2023, this was my first drone, it's amazing how far drones have come and also how ahead of its time this drone was.
It's great to hear an opinion of the Mavic that we can all trust! Thanks for taking the time to put this together, and for flying in a safe location. Hopefully the Mavic (Pro) stands up to the test of time with its new folding arm feature.
TheRcSaylors nice to see you here :D
TheRcSaylors Thanks guys!
Thanks Sheep! We Love the FT Guys and all they do for our awesome hobby.

Thanks for the awesome full review!!!! First real completely trusted review out there :-)
There are actually some really solid reviews out there but we do our best to be thorough. 👍 Thanks for the kind words!
This is an awesome drone, don't know what to do with my brand new, but now old Dji Phantom 3 professional.
Give it to your son
How do u know I have a son, lol ... of course I have but he is just turned 3 today ... thank you for the advice lol ;)
Fly High good
Ill buy it lol
Crash it in an accident and buy a new one lol
Good review, thx
I love the Mavic Pro, the easiest drone to fly. I got it last week, with a couple youtube videos I was up on the air, it handles very easy. impressive footage, I did my editing with Final Cut. EASY!!!!! all done in the same day. I went hiking; my bottle water was heavier then my Mavic Pro. I LOVE IT, great work DJI.
ordered mine today. coast around $1,087. Can't wait
Can you do a review on the gopro KARMA
I saw the KARMA at oppenheimer drone day, a review before its launched would be awesome. Doesn't look like they are sending out any review models pre-production though, even to people like FliteTest

Sure, we would love to.
Brian Eastwood It can fly 1000km? So the Mavic can fly 7000km? Haha xD
haha,, yeah sure.. m.. sorry ;)
Dji needs to hurry up and take my money.
Took my money already. I just need it to ship.
***** As far as i know.. Starting mid Oct delivered as ordered, if you order now exp mid nov.
Deliveries are supposed to start getting sent from China today, but they're seriously overwhelmed by record sales. If you order today the likelyhood is that it'll be at least a month before they send it, maybe more. No one really knows.

You have to test the GoPro karma
Cenzo Senerchia LOL !!
Quite simple, worst in every point they took for the Mavic except maybe for the camera part.
Well correct me if I'm wrong but the GoPro camera creates a fish eye effect so this one is better too.
ockay16
It seems that the Karma has a more detailed and more crisp image thanks to the GoPro. The Mavic Image Quality is a slightly under the quality of a Phantom 4 from what I saw. Still amazing quality and for someone who isn't a professional photographer or movie maker, it's really good enough.
I feel like for 1000$ it should be more then good enough
10/10 T-Rex impression.
Just bought the Platinum! This drone is definitely a winner!
Nice job. Probably the best review I've seen on the Mavic. Will likely get one, but will wait until next Spring, since Winter is nigh, and it's hard to fly with frozen fingers.
Bill Somrak Price will likely come down in 6mo or so too :)
Bill Somrak lhhrihhri
Bill Somrak hopefully cost will come down a little too!
Cheers guys great review. Have you chased a plane with it yet ?.
nige1967 Yes, but not ideal with the narrow field of view. Also a high risk, low reward activity ;) -Austin
FliteTest ok thanks for the reply 👍🏻
Tom Breathnach a review of the typhoon is coming too friend. :)
Tom Breathnach thank you for the insight brother!
Finally! A REALLY great review on the Mavic. Well done!!
Annnnd I'm sold. I have been thinking about jumping into this hobby, but didn't know where to start. After some research and patience, I am absolutely sold on the Mavic Pro. Gonna order one! Nice video!
The size of it is remarkable for how big it is..
0:40
I use my phantom as a steady cam by holding the landing gear . can you fold up the arms and still be able to film with the mavic ?
good question, i wish to know too
Yes, the Mavic will work in exactly the same way. Just note that there are no sensors in the arms, so don't try to activate the motors; that would get messy!
Hahaha, Thank you Morgan .
The gopro karma has a removable gimble designed to be used hand held.
Old Smoky Rv I am afraid the Go pro isn't in the ball park . It just doesn't have the features and is huge in comparison . cheers though .
Awesome! Nice video Austin and Alex! Hey can you ask DJI to send me one too 😂
i'll get right on that man! haha -alex
It is a lot of money but if I had the odd 1000 I would get it
when i can afford to burn a grand at the casino ill buy one of these instead. i think DJI is kicking gopros ass.
Hi
Best product, I've ordered one :)
how did you like it?
I Walked into best buy and ran into the drones display. I came home and did some research and the Mavic Pro caught my eye. After watching this video, I had to do it! I had it checked out online and its on its way, great job guys on the details.
I am so surprised at how mature these platforms have become, I mean I know drones have been around for decades but the last couple of years have seen tremendous growth in this area
Much prefer the mavic video and stability and what not. Also prefer the looks
Ya it looks pretty cool
Guvius RATTPACK ALL DAY BOI PLP✌🏻❤️➕
I have yet to see anyone attempt flying the Mavic long distance. Certainly taking chances, but we need to see a field test of this claim.
there is one video I watched it a few days ago I don't remember who it's by though but they did a max range test
I saw a chinese review that has it fly 7km and return. Video feed on the remote was consistent.
I have seen a video testing to 3 miles on RUclips without any problems whatsoever...
I sees dead peoples
Brian Levy Great !! can you tell me the RUclipsr name ,please I want to see that !!
Trying to insert $100 dollar bills into my dvd slit and it doest work
That bird shot at 16 min is crazy. Can't believe you weren't worried about losing the drone. Amazinf
A category for durability? Water resistant? Fragile? Parts? Ease of repairs? Electronic repairs? Great review! Thx!
Wow, great video! It seriously didn't feel like 17 minutes, it felt like 3.
Kommentator It felt like 25-35 minutes to me. But a good 25-35 minutes.
Kommentator Time travel!
15:44 the plug in the controller is the iPhone type. Can Android phones be used in the controller?
Indeed it can! In the box, there are both Lightning and microUSB cables. If you need USB-C, DJI will sell that separately ($8), or you can use a USBC-to-USBA cable and connect it to the USB port on the bottom of the controller.
Cheers for the info.
Yes. According to DJI it also supports Android.
But how large of a phone will fit? what about tablet support or even mini ipads?
Ron Devine I believe it supports up to 160mm devices, which is scary cause mine is 159.3mm
Excellent video! Would have liked to see more information on how the phone connects to the controller and what's included in the box, but overall awesome review video with tons of helpful information.
Hands down best review I've ever seen on anything. LEGIT. Thank you for such an indepth review!
Jesus, that shot with the birds flying past was a bit risky!
I was thinking that. All you'd need is for one of them to clip one of the props and you'd have an injured bird and a dead drone.
so the remote controller does not have a screen right? it looks like you need to use your smartphone?
This will be my first drone, Will I fnd it hard to fly, Im worrying about crashing it
Kieran Lehane Get a small cheap one first to learn the basics
I've heard there very easy to fly?
Kieran Lehane Yes, but it's better to break a cheap drone than this one while learning to fly.
I guess, don't want to spend too much though, I dont know how I could crash this, just nervous
this drone is basically dummy proof, it has crash avoidence so you can even fly it indoors without hitting walls roof or hard landings on the floor, it hovers in place inside and out....etc etc you will find it easy to fly
Thanks for using a number rating system with a full explanation for why it earned the paticular scores. Well done and informative...much appreciated.
And a lot of you probably already know this but when you buy DJI you're getting a quality quadcopter that they put some time into it and they make it pretty durable
so what next? DJI MAXXIS? DJI DTSWISS? DJI ENVE?
Inspire 2, I believe
DJI MTB edition! ))
DA WN DJI CUBE and DJI SCOTT are coming right after that
Never mentioned obstacle avoidance? If you set it up to follow you, will it avoid the trees?
BleepinJeep it depends what flight mode you put it in, with trace it will buy with other modes the drone is flying sideways so the obstacle avoidance sensor won’t see the object
+FliteTest can you guys make a video about how to set up a mavic pro in the settings and talk more about the smart features of the mavic pro
Great review 👍
Thanks
will you review the GoPro?
I believe we are planning on it, but still unsure at this point! ;)
Thanks for watching Todd!
Blessings,
S.O.
Just seen! See above re: Gitup Git2 camera. It would make a good back-to-back test. Git2 has long list of features.........
The customers' service of DJI is quite progressing! I had a crash the first day I had the Mavic. DJI immediately took the transport in charge and in less than two weeks I had my drone back! Replacement of one arm and of the gimbal: only 35€! :D

please test the go pro karma drone
yesssssss
The Mavic is better in EVERY point. The Karma is more like a little Gadget for the GoPro, but not even comparable to Mavic Pros.
The Karma sucks.
The Mavic seems to be better in every point except by far the most important one for me, the camera quality. I've not been impressed with any of the videos so far, the Phantom 4 and Karma clearly have much better results. 11:51 best 5 seconds of any review on YT, esp when the overlaid audio is "when you're going for a walk in the park with your family."
is it just me or is casey neistat like a living advertisement for DJI, haha and nice vid ! I enjoyed watching it !
You haven't even finished it smh
Help Dead inside I've enjoyed it so far I meant to say, 😀
ukulele man not really, he just likes using the best drone
drink15
Not when he did the karma video, he knocked the P4 off the table. But yeah recovered the DJI love since he had the mavic.
Thanks
Was thinking about getting one of these but wasn't quite sure on the features and capability. Think I'm pretty sold on it now! Awesome video!!
6:13 is that a crack on the gimble?
No... check images of other Mavics or even DJI promo pictures of Mavic; it's a gimbal join, it's there as part of the design. If you suspected it's a crack, it is easy to do an image search of the drone from other places and see if it's there in other pictures and videos.

the little horizontal black line on the gimble?
No, it's for the gimble to move vertically, if it didn't have a small cut there, it would only move horizontally
Jakub Opolski Yep, part of the design.
You know you've "made it" in life when you have a half mile long drive-way leading to a house in the country side.
Dr. Doom not when there are still 80 other houses right next to you lol
how did Casy niestat lose his?
George Casey is a drone killer.
I think he flew it in a city (NYC of course), between buildings as well. Lots of signal interference from buildings (impacts RC control and satellite positioning too), and by the sounds of it he probably flew behind a building which disrupted LOS control of the drone too. if hes gonna support killary, i dont feel the least bit sorry for him. im glad it happened to him.
***** neither do i. was thinking of unsubscribing way before that video and the video has officially made me. dudes annoying as heck
I wish I had a mavic DJI. Thanks guys for your review.
I've never flown, but within the last week, I've been given two drones, a Mini and a Mavic Pro..I'm practicing with the Mini now. Thanks for the great video...L&S

Plus, how can you claim you aren't getting payed / sponsored when you received a 1000 dollar drone for free.
I want to get a quadcopter but the DJI MAVIC is a little out of my price range. Is the DJI PHANTOM 3 a good one to get? Or is there a better one?
David Phillips phantom 3 standard if you are on a budget.
David Phillips if you haven't already brought one get the phantom 3 4K
Get a blade inductrix instead costs about 100$

Your poem SUCKS!
And so do YOU!!
I just bought a Mavic Pro today and pick it up Thursday 3 days time so will see how it goes...
17:05 ... really liked that bird's collision avoidance, 10/10 for me... must buy hahahahahahha
2:18 Note 7? XD
Mind you, this is straight from DJI, not some fringe source.
offlanders Because its against the law and the FDA probley got a deal with them. With all the problems recently involving this, i can see why
Why is that a bad thing?
I'm curious as to why the Food and Drug Administration is dabbling in aerial photography. Lol, I believe you mean the FAA.
Great video! We just posted some Mavic Pro footage of the incredible SHARK Migration happening in Florida right now! I'm sure you'll enjoy it
That was fantastic, I have the Phantom 3 pro , but I love the portability of the Mavic
NEWLY STARTED DRONE CINEMATOGRAPHY CHANNEL WITH THE MAVIC, LETS GOO
im wanna the mavic
=( alot of money =(
Can anyone help me choose a drone I am tied between GoPro karma and dji mavic pro, I like the karma because it comes with the hand stabilizer and the back pack, but I know the mavic is the better drone, I am an adventurous person where the hand stabilizer will come in handy, also I like the Karma because I have a GoPro 4 and I would like the 5 becAuse of 4K and overall quality any suggestions to which drone I should get, thanks
fubbzywubbzy x me to I Dont know which to get lol
You said it yourself. The Mavic is the superior drone. Karma is just a simple drone that comes with goodies in my opinion.
fubbzywubbzy x I just bought the karma 2 days ago and it does things that I really do not like. I let it hover for a bit and I was talking to some guy about it and it started to land by itself to me that's a no no because if I had done that over a body of water and wasn't paying attention then I would've been bye bye karma and I noticed as well that when u let it hover it drifts side to side at times and that's a big let down as well because u will not get the shot u want so I'm going to return my karma and get the mavic because it doesn't do any of that and it has better features
fubbzywubbzy x dji is the best

The only way I would buy one is if I could use some Fat Shark goggles with them. Why limit the buyer?
I liked the birds evasive maneuvers in the lake. Great review guys.
Nice job guys. After a disaster with GoPro Karma I'm thinking about to buy Mavic Pro more. I just miss wider view camera on it.
Can i just ask DJI to send me a free dji drone for myself
E- Streaks no
Kazeman13 savage af
E- Streaks *Work harder make money & buy one u loser*
E- Streaks You can ask anything. Not sure you will get a response.
It`s not a paid video??? Free drone? 1000 dollar drone? What happend if you say something bad about it? No more free drone in future.....
It really wouldn’t matter to them if DJI didn’t send a free one.
***** Have you ever followed this channel before?
Flite Test could absolutely live with "no more free drone in future" though...
I have it and it's super guuuud!!
Good review guys. Did you come to any conclusions with the performance of the collision avoidance? Apologies if it's already been asked.
Awesome comparison and review. What did you use to post process the footage?

You not being paid for your review but they send you a almost $1000 drone for free...HELLO I believe in my coutry its called bribery ;)
Tommy K absolutely agree. If you spend your own money on something... problems are a lot more frustrating. Skewed review is what this is. Bias.
The perk of being a famous youtuber.
Given the reliability I've seen in their other videos when I've tried the hardware myself? I'm inclined to believe that they're being totally honest. Especially seeing the other reviews I've seen of this now that it's out that almost entirely agree. This is just *that good* of a quad.
made in China and designed by China
Racism.
Who said there is something wrong with that?
L LD Once a US manufacturer has something comparable many of us will go with it. Key word - comparable.
Garbage then made by children.
Great review. Does it record to your smartphone, or internally so files require to be downloaded? Thanks
All of the capabilities and features are simply incredible even when compared to professional movie equipment of a few decades ago. There are plenty of professions and industries that will make use of these, e.g. search & rescue, landscaping, law enforcement, spotting for fire fighting, farming, ranching, real estate, hunting . . .
First time here ... new subscriber, very clean and effective video thanks guys
So glad you guys rated it so high! I just pulled the trigger on one before watching your review! Bit of an impulse buy, but it sounds like I won’t be disappointed when it arrives! Cheers.
I enjoyed the video mainly because you included the noise the drone makes. Its the first one I have seen that has done it.
just ordered my DJI mavic as an upgrade from my phantom 3 advanced really looking forward to getting it and taking it with me almost everywhere
Thanks for the video on the Mavic Pro. What lake where you on when you did the testing where you had the pontoon boat?
Sorry for the question just interested, looked like a really nice area
just purchased a mavic , will be here on 7th ,learning alot from you guys thanks
Just bought one off the back of this review- well done guys
Hey Brent Rose and WIRED magazine, this is how you do a proper unbiased review. Then again, it's hard to be unbiased when you are in GoPro's pocket.
Hi Flitetest, did you edit the raw footage of the mavic? Any color grading or is it just the raw footage as it came?
Noticed the Pro Football Hall of Fame Bridge, I've been past that plenty of times and have been to that Quaker Steak and Lube and both movie theaters right there. Went to the University of Akron for a year. Loved the video!!! I have a Phantom 3 but plan on buying the Mavic Pro soon.
my cousin just got one and man is it nice to fly! It's crazy responsive!
This really helped me decide whether or not I wanted a Mavic Pro
Definitely buying one for my channel. Great review, thanks guys!
Thanks Guys for the awesome review...1st I was about to strike the deal with Karm 2017, then later streaming down came across Mavic Pro...This is really one of the awesome best drones created...9.20/10 by you Drone Master's makes it the best to buy.
That's really steady for a windy day. I'm looking to upgrade from beginner drones to this model. Looks like it is worth it. Great review!
