Such a great conversation, as a very newbie in the subject, really broader or could said widened perspective.. Some points that interseted (for lil bit exercise):
    1. Exposure is one of the way to "fight" the technologies or "thumbs" in younger generation
    2. Electricity per kapita in Indonesia is low (just knew that comparing to other country is lil bit far), Singapore had 10.000 kWh per kapita while our country only 1.000 (it really blown away my mind)
    3. Fossil energy is still needed, eventhough EV will be make changes but it will increasing in aero transportation because now we don't have technology plane with batteries and trans oceanic
MANY more points, at the end is lil bit hard, like hydrogen think, but still watch it till the end.
Thanks a lot Mr. Gita for such a great topic (always)
Success for the podcast and also for the whole team 🙏🏽

Thanks to the Endgame team for producing yet another very interesting episode. As Dr.Chen says, a lot can be done (and quickly) if we streamline the available capacity to develop sustainability. But isn´t that the constant challenge we face.
One of the drawbacks of the competitive landscape is the myopia naturally it creates. Some people may feel they are not incentivized enough to look further than what is beneficial to them. That's where creating attractive story-telling comes into play...

Professor Jimmy Chen, the managing director of Stanford Energy, discusses the urgency of addressing climate change. He highlights the discrepancy between the speed needed to combat climate change and the slow pace of existing processes like permitting and safety regulations.
Chen emphasizes the importance of collaboration between industry, government, and academia to accelerate progress. He also touches on California's progressive stance on sustainability and the need for innovative solutions such as carbon removal technologies.
Despite challenges, Chen remains optimistic about the potential for rapid transformation and stresses the importance of taking action to mitigate the impacts of climate change, urging listeners to experiment and consider alternative energy sources like hydrogen.

talking about the money being there for doubling the grid fails to take into account those resources required to build it. It requires a rethink or a WW2 type economy because if you have 25% of world liquidity invested it will mean cuts elsewhere. Stuff like a phone every 5 years or you can't trade a car in for 10 years would need need to be considered for the resources to be available to build that grid.

lagi2 LSM/NGO mamarika jadi lahan korup makanin uang pajak di hambur2 ke sektor yg gak jelas.

@@asrulpare4120 kalo dibilang iklim berubah karena CO². terus mereka kaum globalis bikin aturan pajak CO²? pake aturan ESG dengan ancaman perusahaan akan jatoh nilai saham? intinya mereka melakukan pemerasan atas nama CO²! atas nama perspektifnya mereka sendiri, bahkan dasar ilmu pengetahuan menjelaskan kalo tumbuhan itu makanannya CO². kalo gak ada CO² tumbuhan mau makan apa? makan pisang goreng? lu kata tumbuhan makanannya sama ama manusia? idiocracy have no limit. intinya mereka mau diskriminasi politik ekonomi karena isu CO² jadi dapat peran, dapat mandat dan legitimasi melakukan pemerasan atau bahkan invasi negara lain karena issue polusi udara. bulsyt! makanya tong nonton tucker carlson, jimmy dore atau joe rogan. banyak orang barat sendiri pada ngetawain isu yg dibawa WEF, bangke memang.
lu tau itu isu LGBT mereka udah mainin di ESG sama orang WEF? karyawan LGBT sebagai tambahan poin positip buat perusahaan dalil kesetaraan gender. kan geblek. namanya perusahaan yg sehat itu yg karyawannya kompeten dan profesional kerja. nah yg design sama itu sama yg kampanye climate change. dan lu percaya di boongin sama neo kolonial yg ngajar2in lu biar gak pake nalar buat menguasai alam berfikir lu pake perspektif mereka? jangan mau! harus punya karakter sendiri, jaga kepentingan negara sendiri, jgn mudah percaya sama tipu2

The problem you are discussing here is only political. You can set the price for carbon fossil fuel at any level you would like, if you have the worldwide agreement to do it. The business will adopt to any price, even 10 000 usd per tonne, if to rise it gradually.
I live in a middle-income country and the share of energy spending in my budget is about 15%. If the price of energy would increase in two times, it will take only 6 years of GDP to restore. Of course, I will decrease the energy use also to speed up my own sustainability :)))
In addition, the world-wide task will force the international cooperation. WTO, Science Exchange Regulation Commete will set fines for oil smugglers. BIGNATO ships will be forcing them to surrender. Wars will be admittedly impossible since that time also.
Economic solutions are the best solutions today. If we live in a market now, and our lives are sold and bought many times per year, it would be stupid don't use it in favor of the planet and it's inhabitants.
