Thanks for making another batch to film it again. I'm sure that was frustrating to find out the sound didn't work the first time. You are so sweet and the brownies look delicious.
Julie S thanks for watching Julie!
Thanks, looks yummy and I bet it smells good in your kitchen. Something I always do when baking is I put 2 apples in my Vitamix and make applesauce; sometimes I leave on the skin and it works fine. I know applesauce is typically cooked but I honestly don't notice the difference when I use it for baking. Thanks for sharing this recipe. Happy Holidays :)
Mud Sock Girl I’ll try that thanks!!
Have now made this several times and a few different variations. This time we used mashed banana instead of apple sauce and standard wheat flour instead of oat because we had some that needed using up. Toddler is stoked that he'll have "cake" in his lunchbox tomorrow.
Brownies are in the oven now. They smell awesome. I tasted the batter before putting them in and it is the perfect amount of sweetness. Wishing you and your hubby a happy holiday!
I'm late to this party because I only discovered your RUclips channel in the last few months.
These are delicious. The chocolate and ginger flavors really stand out and make for an amazing combo. I have a notorious sweet tooth and these were sweet enough to satisfy even me.
Thanks for sharing. Made these a few days ago. They satisfy my sweet tooth but don’t drive me to eat too many. Maybe because they are plant based and the whole food ingredients don’t trigger cravings.
I just made these! So good! I used the Santa Barbara Company Chocolate Chips! Wow! What a game changer they are!
I have been craving ginger bread! Love the intro to this video. Super real and super cute.
Amazing! I just made these and want to thank you so much. I was really struggling with my cravings for a little something sweet with my tea after dinner and these brownies really satisfy me! Also, thanks for the links to the silicone baking pan. It is sturdy and the brownies pop right out. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
If you have to mess up and repeat a recipe, brownies are a great one to have to make twice! Can’t wait to try this recipe! Thanks for all your great content.
Carrie Powers haha Marc wasn’t complaining we had lots when he got home from work.
Just wanted to say that I love your channel / content!! Thank-you so much for all you do! 💕
Aw thank you!!
Must try making this! Love ginger! Love dark chocolate! Love that it’s healthy! Thank you!🥰
Santa Barbara baking company is the best. I am a professional baker and they are all I use. This recipe is very interesting. Sidenote I’m gonna place an order when I get through with Christmas. I’m going to order some Cocoa butter from them to make my husband some shampoo bar soap. LOL
i made this tonight I did it with ginger and I did with out both are soso yummy thanks so much for sharing this wonderful treat
Thanks for taking the time to film this twice! I got the ingredients today and I can't wait to make this!
I wanted to let you know that I really liked this recipe, I made them last night and we all like them here at home. I like things not too sweet and this are perfect, I will add the chocolate chips next time and I think that will make them even better. I love that it has no oils. Thanks for sharing the recipe!
Thank you for making making them low fat!
This is about the 5th of your recipes that we have made and we have enjoyed all of them. Our 12 year old daughter loved this as well. Thank you for everything that you do. Please keep showing recipes. I also bought the baking dish and it worked great as well!
Awesome looking recipe. Look forward to trying it one day.
Let me know how you like it Molly!
Love that it’s gluten free too! Thank you.
We enjoyed these!
Thank you so much for re -doing this video, I made these to share at a Christmas brunch this morning, and they were delicious!
Thanks for your videos....learning a lot. I have limited cooking skills yet have made my own organic applesauce for years. Cut up apples with skin plus 1/4 cup water for a full crockpot on low overnight. You don’t need much water so don’t add too much. Sugar is not needed but you could add spices. I think its 4 hours for cooking on high but overnight tastes better. I freeze in 2 cup glass containers which are perfect for me. I’m all about easy/making as much as I can in one swoop and freezing for later.
I just want to say I make this ALL the time. 😬😊 It's so good!! I have even used the batter to make cookies. It's a great recipe!! Thank you for sharing!!
I made these today. Unbelievably good!
Made these today. Yummy! My son and I love these.
I made these healthy brownies yesterday! They’re delicious & moist! Thank you for sharing!🥰
Tried it. Love it. So moist. Thanks for the recipe. Have a beautiful and healthy Christmas. Looking forward to more recipes next year.
Made these last night..... Delicious!!! Thank you!
Looks delicious!
Thanks Kathy!
Yum!
I can't wait to try this! Sound so yummy! Thank you!
These are delicious, thanks for the recipe!
i just got all the ingredients ! can't wait to try them
Love using cocoa powder to dust- I also use ground freeze dried fruit powder or matcha powder depending upon the recipe and color combos you like.
Love that idea! I'll keep that in mind!
Love your videos.
You can always freeze the unused applesauce.
I'm getting a new large freezer for Christmas and am going to start!
Awesome recipe! I can't wait to give it a try.
Thanks for watching Denise!
Looks so yummy. Cant wait to try it. Thank you for this video!
Helena Cothran thanks for watching!!
This sounds amazing . Will be making these very soon
Thanks for watching!!
I’m so excited to make this!
You should do closeups of the finished products!
I adore this recipe. How would you make these into biscuits, please? I don't use sugar but molasses are excellent.
I’m going to make these tomorrow but I will substitute the Coco for carob because that is a great substitute for people with IC. I use a carob from Australia & it’s almost white so, I think it’s going to give that powdered sugar affect nicely🤞🏻- I will keep you posted .
thank you again for another amazing recipe you are awesome ☮️💚🥦
Glad you loved it!!
Sounds delicious.
Thanks for watching!!
Can't believe you were willing to do this twice, but thank you so much. Very excited to make this.
Anything for all of you guys!
I made these tonight and they are moist and delicious! It had an odd smell...not really like chocolate or gingerbread. Is it just the smell of blackstrap molasses that I'm not used to?
Applesauce tip: if you just use it for baking, but want to cut down on plastic, buy the large container,
and freeze batches in ½ cup servings.

Great Tip!
Hallo from Austria! Thank you once again for a wonderful recipe. Could you please consider writing the metric measurements for your recipes as well. It would be a huge help for all of us, who watch your videos outside the US. Thank you so much for everything you do.
I will work on that! I'm hoping by the spring to have our website up and running - which will have the recipes in both measurements for people!
I love this.
Thanks for watching Robert!
You could also mix some spices with the cocoa for dusting! Either cinnamon or gingerbread spice sounds good.
Yum!
Looks so delicious! My husband is diabetic so I was wondering about the molasses. Does it have a high glycemic index? Is molasses similar to raw honey in glycemic index?
It is similar to honey on the glycemic index.
Hit with non vegans as well! Thx. My son did say more like a bread than a brownie so maybe I should have added date paste for some but I like them a lot
I soo need to make these! 🤤💚🙌🏻
Thank you this looks yummy want to make ❣️❣️❣️
Thanks for watching Shayne!
Ugh really wanna make this sometime
Had you thought to narrate your first video since you had audio issues with it? You might have saved yourself a lot of time. Thank you for a recipe that includes 2 of my favorite flavors.
Yesssss please 👌👌👌😊😊
There's never too many brownies.
Is it 2 cups oats... blended to flour. Or 2 cups of blended oat flour?
What’s the tip to make it more gingery ?? Or molassesy ❣️
Can you find a good cornbread on wfpb? Thanks
Will do!!
Almost instant applesauce - peel and chop an apple then microwave it for a couple of minutes with a tablespoon or two of water. I put in a noodle bowl or heatproof jug covered with a small plate. Mash with a fork. No plastic. Leave the peel on for whole food. :-)
I'll try that, thanks!!
Doesn't the unsweetened chocolate chips make it bitter?
Are your applesauces 4oz a pieces?
Do you think this would work in a silicone mini muffin pan? Like brownie bites?
I think it would work! Worked in a loaf pan today.
The Jaroudi Family awesome, thanks Brittany!! The recipe seems great and I can’t wait to try it out!
How long did you bake the loaf for?
Cynthia Cintron same time - 30 mins
Is oat flour healthier than whole wheat flour?
Oat flour has more fat and more proteins (= also a little more calories). Whole wheat flour has more manganese and selenium.
Just another whole grain option.
Why packaged apple sauce? :( Blend two cored apples (i.e. Granny Smiths) instead. And use Argo aluminum-free baking powder.
L Galina great idea & we also use aluminum free baking powder
Any "swap" for the oat flour?
Whole wheat flour :)
I have those same pans but I think they leave a funny taste on the food... almost like detergent but I rinsed so well? Anyone else have that issue?
Yes! I have a silicone muffin pan and I can't cook with it because of the weird smell/taste. I only use it to freeze stuff. So disappointing.
I've never had that happen! hm and we use silicon pans all the time.
@@TheJaroudiFamily maybe I'll have to order yours and try again! Fingers crossed 🤞
No hate, but how about buying the jar of apple sauce and then freezing the extra right in the original jar? Will help take care of the 🌎🌍🌏
I'm getting a new large freezer for Christmas and am going to start!
Great!!🌏🌍🌎
I'll make this tomorrow. I'm waiting for my Amazon delivery. It's suppose to be here by 8 pm, but hasn't shipped yet. First time Amazon has done this with my orders. I have been waiting all day to make my Instant Pot recipe. Ugh so frustrating. 🙄
Aw hopefully Amazon gets it to you soon!
@@TheJaroudiFamily they are out of the item, and will ship asap. I guess I will make something else.
Vivian Vilmin was the order for the pan?
@@TheJaroudiFamily no, I have a pan, but not a fancy one like yours. I am thinking about the mini loaf. That way I could make lentil loads too. I did a subscribe and save, and they said I would get the last item today. I guess that's what happens when they run out of a product. So if they say you'll get it by 8 pm and it never ships, they are out of it. Who knew?
