Made this with a few adjustments bc it was almost identical to a "caramel cream pie" that I've made for years. But, it makes more sense to call it a Twix and definitely reminiscent of one of my (previously favorite) candy bars. The upside is that I cut it into bite size pieces and stored in the freezer so we can enjoy a piece on occasion rather than eating an entire pie in a few days. 😜I use my Vitamix for almost everything and wanted to let you know that you can blend the crust and filling rather than using food processor at all. Your recipes never disappoint so thank you so much for the inspiration!
As someone who has recovered from a binge eating disorder, I can actually have these kinds of desserts in moderation. They are actually a revelation!! Without dairy, wheat, and refined sugar, they are not as "addicting" but taste just as good. THANK YOU for posting this beautiful creation! XO
If you wouldn't mind taking the time, please do share how you recovered from BED. I'd love to learn from your journey. I'm still struggling, but getting there... :)
Hey I've been following you for a few month. And this is why your recipes area ingenius... 1. Super easy 2. WFPB 3. Perfect for dieting 4. No oil and sometimes just tiny amounts of nuts for optimal health. 5. No fancy ingredients 6. THEY TASTE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING You are my favorite WFPB recipe channel. And I love your authentic style.
Yummm! I have made this 3 times since watching this! It lasts us only 6 servings and I usually make nice cream each time with 2 bananas per batch. Love love love it. And my boyfriend who is a meat and potatoes and real ice cream kind of guy LOVES it too! What a great recipe. Thank you so much for sharing! 💜💜💜
I live in Australia and this is definitely going on my Christmas dinner menu - so excited to try it and then make it up to take away camping (in our caravan) over the holidays :-)
Oh my! What a treat! I didn’t realise to make nice cream ahead of time 😊 I must make this and Twixt is my favourite chocolate Update: made this today. Oh my! It delicious . Just like twix 😋 Thanks
I love you're so attentive with all viewers mentioning people who are trying to lose weight, people with eating disorders and so on. This was really kind 💗 ps.recipe looks absolutely delightful!
I can't get some of the ingredients where I live (in an Egyptian village) but that's probably just as well as I really could eat it in one day, even if not in one sitting lol. But will take some ideas from this to spruce up my 'nice cream' Thanks for all you do xxx
Cannot wait to make this!!! Looks utterly decadent! Thank you sooo much for sharing your food with us and for always giving so many options! I’m entering my fifth month of eating WFPB and am sooo in love with this way of eating!
This is da bomb! Made up a batch today. I didn’t put chocolate on top but rather used PB2 chocolate for the middle. So delish! I bought those little containers too and now they are all snug in the freezer--minus the first one for tasting of course.
I love it❤️ I think something we forget when we talk about why people choose these things is that we don’t have time to not. Our planet is dying because of the animal consumption. Like within my life. Before I’m even 50 there won’t be fish in our oceans. This is about keeping us and our planet sustainable
I got a small idea, we can use ice cubes tray or small cups to make those chocolate cookies, and just have few pieces. Been watching your videos, and very happy for your transformation 👏🙌. Loving your recipes and especially this one, i mean how doesn't love ice creams 👀🤣🤤🤤😋😋
Love your recipes can t wait to try they all look so good I can't stand long so my husband does most of the cooking so I need real easy recipes maybe 1 pot things thanks
Are you daring me not to eat this all in one sitting?😂 Brittany, I was wondering what recipe you made recently that you used crushed up shredded wheat in. I finally saved up enough to make it and now I can’t remember which one it was. Thanks!
She made a believer out of me, when i first looked at this at the begining I thought 'NO WAY" is that a dessert...lol, now im hungry for a snack,,wish me luck,,lol
Dates when stored in the fridge will last for a very long time! I bought a package of Medjool dates from Trader Joes, well several and it took me months (3?) to finish them and they were not dried out and tasted perfect. I don't recommend over-buying but you can safely keep them in the fridge for weeks. 😉
Awesome treat!! A couple blueberries and raspberries & I have my 4th of July treat ready! Thank you! What was the salt free cracker you put your hummus on in your camping video?
Any suggestions for what other fruit I could use? I never would have thought twix aren't vegan but now that you mention it, I guess I need to be more cautious when looking at ingredients.
Wonderful, thanks for sharing. I'm a terrible vegan and just can't do bananas. Will the banana come through much? If so, is there a way to sacrifice or mask the flavour? Thank you again
That looks so good! I'd have to use cashews because I don't tolerate walnuts very well. It probably wouldn't take me very many days to eat it either. :-)
Sounds delicious! This possibly is a crazy idea but would it be possible to make these in muffin trays...that way having individual servings?? Ok might need to 1/2 the recipe..
Hi Brit this looks great...Thank You.... I will try it out next week when I get more bananas. My husband just walked in the kitchen & said I like twix bars...lol...Do you ever use powdered Barny almond butter in recipes instead of regular almond butter? I had been using PBT until I read the label last week.....GRR UGH full of sugar…. I am still new at this I am A Valentines Vegan....haha The date my husband & I gave up meat this year.... Have a great day
As an emotional eater and food addict, I'm certain I could finish that entire thing in a weekend. So as much as I'd love to make this, I'll have to pass. 😭
@@moladhdodhia1580 You're right. But the sugar from the dates and the fat from the walnuts, even though small in proportion to the entire recipe, might be a trigger for some. That was my downfall for awhile: I thought, well, (whatever I was eating) is healthy, so I can eat alot of it. And then my weight popped up, lol.

Omg this is epic!! I have to watch amount of dates i eat at once bc it acts like prunes in me lol, but I could see myself having a scoop at a time.
Can't wait to try this one. I've tried a couple of your other dessert recipes and they were a huge hit with the whole family.
Which dessert recipes did you find taste best? ❤️
Wow! You are so creative with Whole Foods! Thank you for this recipe!

This is awesome! I make a similar thing with carob instead of chocolate because chocolate gives me headaches. Carob is delicious too!
Oh yes!! I love carob!! Sometimes I have a taste for that instead of chocolate. I grew up eating carob so I have found memories!!
Cannot wait to make this!!! Looks utterly decadent! Thank you sooo much for sharing your food with us and for always giving so many options! I’m entering my fifth month of eating WFPB and am sooo in love with this way of eating!
Just ordered cups and going to half the recipe for them. Thank you. Cups are on sale at Amazon and coupon included.

I nominate u for a Nobel WFPB prize, seriously!!
Thank you for another yummy concoction to try :)
It looks amazing!
Oh wow! This looks amazing and fun to make and eat!
This seriously looks like heaven 😍
Thank you, very much appreciated.

Awesome recipe and video!! What size glass containers are you using? And what brand ice cream scoop do you use? Thank you!
Just had to make some nice cream after watching this!
I used to love Twix! This is a much better option!
you are a genius 😍
I love nice cream definitely going to be trying this out.
Yummm! That looks so good. I don't have the patience to assemble those adoreable mugs you put together, but all in one blizzard cup it goes :)
Just made, so good! Only thing is I have to add like double the amount of milk u used. My food professor made it thick-alot of little bits of dates.
a pinch of salt brings out great flavor!
I think it would work best for me to make the individual portions in an ice cube tray or something before freezing
She made a believer out of me, when i first looked at this at the begining I thought 'NO WAY" is that a dessert...lol, now im hungry for a snack,,wish me luck,,lol
You are awesome,thanks a lot🙏😘😋
Where do you buy that chocolate?
Could you please tell me how long Dates will last after purchasing from the store..? refrigerated or cubbard stored?
Dates when stored in the fridge will last for a very long time! What food processor are you using.? I’m looking for one and do no which one to get and I’m one person. Also a blender ? Thanks
Any suggestions for what other fruit I could use? I never would have thought twix aren't vegan but now that you mention it, I guess I need to be more cautious when looking at ingredients.

Wonderful, thanks for sharing.
I'm a terrible vegan and just can't do bananas.

If so, is there a way to sacrifice or mask the flavour?
Thank you again
If you don't have Medjool dates and the dates are already pitted and smaller, how many would you substitute for the Medjool dates?
Oh yummm!
Any way to make Nice Cream with something other than bananas? Can’t do bananas.
Hi Britney how long would i blend the nice cream for in my vitamix?
It took less than 3 mins in ours! Just till everything is blended well together and resembles ice cream 🥰🥰
That looks so good! I'd have to use cashews because I don't tolerate walnuts very well. It probably wouldn't take me very many days to eat it either. :-)
Does any types of dates okay?
Sounds delicious! This possibly is a crazy idea but would it be possible to make these in muffin trays...that way having individual servings?? Ok might need to 1/2 the recipe..
I wonder what's a good substitute for walnuts... Funnily enough they don't seem to have them in stock here. Probably cashews or any other type of nut?
Yup any type of nut will work!
Looks delicious! I can't make out the name of the machine you say you usually use when making nice cream.
Yonanas?
Love your page and recipes!! Can't wait to make this. Although I'm 100% sure my fiancé could eat all that twix within a week haha
I’m allergic to raw dates. Are there any substitutes for them?
Raisins , soak for a bit if not gooey enough
Does anyone have a replacement idea for the dates?
real maple syrup
❤️🙏🏼🌿
😮😍

mother of god
Where do you get that chocolate? I have been looking for a sugar-free, allergen-free dark chocolate for a long time. Thanks for sharing.
I think trader joe's has a good dark chocolate bar.

TWIX BLIZZARD plant based
Was going to talk shit. But looked at the ingredients and it looks Awesome!
Haha thanks?
the only thing this video lacked was one more commercial thrown in..
Sorry, the longer the video the more ADs they put in..
I didn't know that poor animals had to die for the regular Twix ; ). It looks very good.
this looks so good - but think I need to stay away - I eat like a pig oink oink
