I just got a NGG yesterday, off to be shopped out tomorrow!
Nice spida i got to play "no good gofers" once years ago on a cruiseship.Once i play it i was hooked on the game.Though i'm glad i did make it to the williams pinball hall of fame collection for PS3&360 it's still a blast to play.
Lucky you! Wish I had the money to own a pinball machine, let alone a bunch of them. No Good Gofers is definitely on my list of machines that I want to own, next to Revenge from Mars!
Fun Fact: I learned that 15 or so prototypes were made that had a boss or giant gopher that would of popped up from under the spinning golf ball, but Williams removed it for cost reasons. I think this would have been very interesting.

Unfortunately I haven't seen No Good Gofers in quite a few years now, which is sad because it is one of my favorite machines.
@modbradshaw Not many. Ironically, "none" of them are filmed. So.....ha ha....not sure when I will ever get back to get them shot.

I love this game as well.
Funny enough the first time I played this machine was at a mini golf place called 402 Golfland. When I saw it, there was a game in action but the ball was stuck. After I tilted the machine, I decided to finish it. Luckily the last guy who played before it got stuck left it at a pretty good score. I eventually finished the game with the highest score recorded on that particular machine, so you can say it took a team of two effort to record a high score! Haha!
Excellent video! I'm enjoying playing the simulated version of No Good Gofers on the 360. Its fun!

Great game and a great video! I own every Lawlor machine up to Road Show and NGG is definitely next on my list. You gave a great collection as well. I started in the hobby 5 years ago...and I wish it was earlier as maybe I could have afforded some of the greats that command huge prices today (MM, IJ, etc).
@gentleuterus Is that the William's Pinball collection? I have it for the Wii (which doesn't have Gofers) and found it a pretty great representation of the games. You know? :)

I love no good gofers we had one for years at the theater that I work at its a great game never got old wish we still had it soo many great memorys

Im about ready to add this to my collection. My son really wants it. Hope its a keeper. I feel it has a great playfield design with top features. 3 flippers, spinning disc, captive ball, 4 ball multiball and hole in one shot. I like side pop bumpers too (This is like Tron ....)
I will email you the screen shot I've got 53 million and not made it to 9holes but got 22million and made it to 10 go figure.. thanks Chris your channel has affected my life in a positive way and changed my "hobbies" from Bad ones to good ones, keep it going i can't get enough PINBALL VIDS !!!

@MrDebauch New Stern games have really "gone up" lately. In fact, I probably wouldn't buy one anymore, to be honest. They usually tend to go around the $4k mark new. You know?

Your videos are very well done as always. I'm also in the market for two pinball machines I hope to get one day. One is Taxi and the other is Corvette. Although I'm not a huge pinball player, I always loved those two machine cause I played the heck out of them when I was younger in my dads bowling alley.

me and my best freind had tournements on this game at amini golf course too but now i have it on visual pinball along with other tables you own and those are the ones i usaly play the most

i love your videos.. starting to get into collecting as well. would u be able to recommend a good starter machine? or perhaps a real nice virtual pinball cab to get acquainted with certain tables and basically try before buy?
you sir are a pinball expert. My favorite pinball machine is the street fighter 2 table. Wish I could get one of those. Had the chance for a good price but the seller was sneaky and sold to someone else. :(

I always wondered why don't have "Party zone", it's in my opinion one of the best tables ever...can you tell me about it if you already have played that table?

excellent vid as usual. How much do machines like that usually sell for brand new (like for game room owners etc)... I know there are piles of mechanical parts that are fine tunes and what not... but also because it is a commercial piece of equipment.
My brothers buddy and I used to play this at 7-11 while supposedly looking for jobs!! I bet we lost hundreds of dollars trying to pay those damn gofers back with a stiff ball to the face!! Taunting little buggers!
Great video. Sadly arcades around here usually only have one pinball machine each. Dave & Busters has none, which is a crime in my book. Williams' Star Wars Episode 1 is in more that one arcade, so there's not much variety. The newest machine we have is Stern's The Simpsons.

the app is called pinball arcade .also i keep going back to watch you no good gofers pinball collection video when you say i wish it there were 18 holes i thought it was a kind of a wink wink wizard mode .but i swear when i played no good gofers because that's the free table this month i made it to 12 holes the dot matrix went from 1-9 to 10-18 I only got there once and i know that really add credibility to my story ....my score was only 37 million
Honestly I haven't paid much attention to how much these are going for today. They usually range around $2k - $2.5 k. But, that was a while ago. :)

@pocketmego I wanted to get that game for wii or PSP since those are the only two consoles that I own which that game was released for, but unfortunately neither of them didn't include neither Midevial Madness or No good gofers :(
how do u afford all of those machines and where do you keep them?
@pocketmego We can always hope, but I have been thinking of getting either 360 or Ps3 latley. They are somewhat cheap nowadays :)

Me - Is this an investment worth going for I mean pinball machines just are pretty expensive I'm just wondering if their is more bang than the buck. Sorry for being a headache.

hay Chris it has once again Ben confirmed my score was only 22 million but i got a couple of advance to holes prizes.this time i made it to the Hole 10 and i was given 2 million and the it gave me a hole in one prize without getting a hole in one,this app seems to be very accurate,well yout would probably be a better judge at that,Im going to read my phone manual to figure out how to screen capture a and take a pic the next time i get over 9 holes

I remember this game for a hot minute, the retarded taunting really turned me off to the game. The gameplay is good minus the gofer. Kudos on the detailed review on this = )

@FletcherHabit Not rich. Good at saving, making smart investments and not wasting my money (though some would say I waste it quite a bit on my hobby....ha ha). :)
