@@melissamaguire4476 amazing!! I’m so happy you were successful. My transfer is scheduled for September and I told the doctor no thanks to the era after your message and this video. 🙏🏼 Many blessings your way.
@@danielleblack8249 How'd it go? I just got my pgt today and ended up with one euploid and 3 aneuploid. I'm planning on doing fet in my next cycle. I imagine era would cost that 1200 + our 850 monitoring fee + medicine (1500+), so basically 4k.
I did 2 embryo transfer one was fresh and the second was frozen transfer both of them field then before my third embryo transfer I did ERA test and I get pregnant but it was chemical pregnancy. My embryo was not tested. I did another retrieval and I tested my embryo and I'm pregnant now after transfer embryo based on the ERA test.
Appropriate research will be to compare two groups in which all have displaced implantation windows, one group adjusts timing & other doesnt. The research you showed doesnt tell much. It is not right to compare people who have displaced windows with those who "never had era done" because they might not have displaced windows to begin with.
Would you kindly be able to provide the reference for the lower pregnancy rates with ERA with the study of donor egg cycles? I am going through a 3rd DE cycle (1st was chemical pregnancy, 2nd blighted ovum), and my clinic is recommending ERA. Thank you for this informative video!
Sorry sissy for this question, is your ERA. worked ? I’m going through the same situation as u r now and I gave sample for ERA, EMMA , ALICE tests please let me know sissy, Thanks in advance.
Hi Dr Victory. I have recently watched almost all of your videos and think they are all incredibly well presented and informative. You appear to have a very strong opinion of the ERA test - what is worrying is that the test could actually proof detrimental and not just a potential waste of money and time. Is that to say, you believe women undergoing IVF do not necessarily have a displaced window of implantation but that a standard transfer protocol without the ERA mirrors what would happen with natural conception. Many thanks.
Thank you for the kind words. ERA is useless. Every study to date shows no benefit. So we transfer day 5 embryos on day 5 if the progesterone level is ok and the endometrium is perfect. Day 6 we transfer after 6 days of prog because it reduces the risk of miscarriage. We really don't know enough about embryo endometrial interaction to even determine WOI. That is abundantly clear from the lack of proof of the ERA test.
@@DrVictorymy doctor suggested an era because I have only two euploid embryos. A day 5 and a day 7. I am leaning against it but scared what if that’s the wrong choice. I have never implanted before or been pregnant so no idea if I would be a rif patient. Three years later do you still believe this test is useless?
Hi Dr Victory, How does transferring a fresh embryo vs a frozen embryo influence the timing of transfer in a standard (no ERA) transfer cycle? I have read that a frozen embryo needs 1-2 days before starting to implant, while a fresh embryo starts to implant right after hatching. Does it mean that transferring a frozen embryo should be timed differently? Thank you!
I had 4 embryos 1 was a fresh transfer and resulted in ectopic pregnancy and I miscarried I then had the 2 embryo FET transfer and it failed now I only have 2 embryos (none of my embryos were generic tested) due to the high price . I have a 12 year old natural pregnancy but I only have 1 fallopian tube and it’s blocked So do you think I will benefit from this ERA test ?
It's not that I need to go against this.. I am just simply saying one thing: I dont think its bad, I think its just not well researched.. as I read the comments, I see many women say "it failed because of ERA, this and that".. I had ERA test, FET was not successful but not because of this but because of my immune system. It rejected embryo every time they transferred it.. There is many different things that could destroy successful implantation of embryo and pregnancy itself.. it's not that ERA is bad..
I did ERA and did NOT become pregnant with healthy embryos. But experience with horrible, bloody uterus scratching and wasting thousands of dollars was nothing but ordinal for me. I believe that ERA caused a failure of FET cycle and deeply regret for trusting Dr. William Ziegler . Moreover, FET cycle was postponed for months.
Thank you for your honesty!
Thank you for sharing this. I have had 2 eras and still did not get pregnant
You’re kidding!! I’m so sorry to hear that. This helps me make my decision. Thank you

How about the utility of an ERA in someone who is obese?

Endometrial Receptivity Analysis (ERA) test: an unproven technology is study by Zion Ben Rafael in 2021
doesn't it leave a scar, which can impact implantation later?
I thought its similar to an endometrial scratch which is meant to be good for implantation?
What do you think of the Emma and Alice tests ?

Thank you for RIGHT info. I totally agree with you. ERA should be banned.

Hi! What about a hysterscopy / scratch? Is this similar? Would you think it’s necessary ?

So that’s not exactly accurate. There is more than enough research including two RCTs. It shows a 13% decrease in success. No one should ever do ERA.
I don’t agree with you..... women who failed IVF did this and got pregnant

I did 2 eras an did not get pregnant. They both provided different results and we adjusted meds accordingly and still my transfers failed
At the end of the day it’s just a numbers game
What is your thought on the receptivadx?
